Ads On MAL

the ads are ridiculous. I usually don't care about ads since I skim over them but the placement is so horrible. Gets in the way of the site and I know a lot of people don't come here anymore because of it.

Edit: Just thought of this. For now if you want to get around the ad covering up the rank, just view the source code and ctrl+f the word "rank"

the ads were annoying to me as well. But thanks to the ad blocker, they are now blocked.

I DO have firefox with Adblock plus add-on, but google adds stuff still gets in the way so that I can't click ''Straw-Hat-Matt's anime list'' link

CAN THIS BE FIXED PLEASE?? I'm fine with the idea of ads, but placements are HORRIBLE

Yeah it's gotten pretty bad with breaking the site and everything.

i don't mind little number and good posted ads. I click on them sometime (money for the site).
but now i have this problem:

the ads on top are cut and/or intervening wit site content.

started yesterday and its annoying me badly now.....

The ads are everywhere! haha. Adblocker ftw.

Not sure if this is the place to say it or what, but the ads have become EXTREMELY annoying. I'm talking about the square ads for the new Predators movie which are on every page for anime/manga. They auto-run, get bigger, and there's no way to close them or change the settings so they won't do that. The only option there is, is to hover your mouse over them then hit stop when the button decides it wants to show up to let you click it. So I'm stuck with a repeating loop of the trailer for the movie unless I'm extremely fast in stopping it.

I understand the need for ads on MAL, and they usually don't bother me, but these ones are so fucking annoying. Please rethink using them.

Edited to add: it seems the Predators ads no longer does the aforementioned, making my comment moot. But I am going to leave it here, in any case.

But yeah the ads are annoying......ESPECIALLY the NBC's The Event ad that pops up EVERYTIME I enter in my profile!
