Is all? Hiyama was wrong and he dissapears in the dark world with no one caring about him?

Very Death Note-ish end, the mastermind noticing is single flaw at the complete end of the series is what I call a phail =). I was a bit let down, hoped for a little bit more, although I liked the fact that some people seen the good things Hiyama has created within people(although his ways were a bit bad, Why did you have to kill that other dude in chapter 1?)

7/10, short chapter deservers a better flop, but i enjoyed it overall ^.^

What a shitty ending. Quite reminiscent of Death Note. I was hoping that Hiyama would win since Kuonji was basically a useless wuss throughout the whole manga. The ending seemed rushed and not well planned out.

I actually never did, if the mangaka made it so Hiyama won, some crazy kid might have the idea "OMG let's hypnotize the world and make it a better place!" while its actually not the good moral thing to do...

We were for the darkside since chapter 1, we mostly couldn't hope for victory, but as you said, don't rush the end of the game, give us at least a glorious loss =D

yeah i thought the ending was a bit rush. i feel is though it's only a middle of the arc and they just cut it short.

hopefully either the mangaka continues this or a new series would be appreciated.

a 4/5 for me :)

If Hiyama won this would get 10 or 9 from me. With this ending, it's 6.

Overall, I think its a pretty good manga! XD

The ending was a bit shitty, I would've liked it to end in another way, but not the way where Hiyama wins control over Japan killing Kuonji. It'd be really sad. . . Though I thought something like Hiyama survived and there's going to be a sequel, but it's really sad that someone as cool and as intelligent as Hiyama would die. . . .

I give this manga a 10! XD

I think it was sad... because there is no clear answer. What would be better for humans? To be controlled to be strong or to be left alone and rotting? Why each way is bad?

Nothing happened... it's always the same.

For anyone who needs assistance with curing their "weakness", contact your local Scientology chapter. Oh, don't listen to what the "trash" have to say about Scientology. If you just open your heart, they can help you just like Hiyama.

Anyways, moving on. I think there is a clear answer and it is this: Think for yourself. You don't need someone else to tell you what is best. Certainly not some mangaka who wrote up a story to make a quick living.

Wow, the story of this manga was really interesting. Yes, it has some similarities with Death Note but it goes a different way.
Don't know why everone has problems with the ending. I liked it. 10/10

Why didn't Hiyama thought about simply giving them a unshakeable will without the need of controlling them?

If he simply made all the weakness dissapeared, crappy L guy wouldn't be against his false ideals.

Hiyama didn't need to control them in the first place to make his own world

This manga was a lot better than I thought it would be. Even though it kept screaming Death Note, the story still intrigued me. Although I didn't necessarily like the characters, there was some character development. Over all I'm giving this 8/10.

Indeed, a shit ending to this manga. Overall, rating this a 3/10. Death Note makes this looks like a joke.

Thats what I was wondering. He only needed to control the parliament guys so he could get his message across.

Well the message here is that utopia doesn't exist, no matter how perfect it might seem, there are always flaws. There is always darkness when there is light visa versa.
Tho tbh honest, from the ending, i dont think Hiyama is dead even though he lose. He could just have hypnotized everyone to not see him and went into a life of hiding and reflecting his decision.

what a waste of time and effort for such an anticlimatically meh ending. i wanted that hiyama guy to receive a more pathetic ending tbh coz his high horse attitude alltogether didn't bode well with my ideals. although boring & lame af, lost brain was overall still better than death note for being four times shorter thankfully. but i did loose a few brain cells reading both if you catch my drill.

A good ending for me would have been if somebody said:

Average psychological manga with bad ending.

Only thing it did right was make me binge it in one sitting.

Hi, I just completed lost+brain and it was pretty good. I'm still wondering if Hiyama is really alive tho.
