That...was funny.

I thought that scene was pretty well done, to be honest.

I guess it's okay that he died rather content, but now they have a rather larger problem . . . What secrets did he know? Now that he is gone they lost a rather larger clue to whether or not Ashbey was murdered.

So did the blond kid with the toy know Kefenhiller was from the Galactic Empire or just thought he was creepy old guy?

Novels I have read/am reading pending approval: since November 10 2022, since February 18, 2023

I think it was the latter. Nothing to indicate that he was from the Empire.

He knew a lot but never told Yang the most important things he needed to know.

And it got good again. I think it's just Yang I have a problem with, as episodes like this, which focus on something/someone other than Yang, are great.

Cool story about Kefenhiller's past, I wasn't expecting to see his death so early, they didn't even say he had health problems.
I was expecting to hear more stories about Ashbey from him, let's wait and see where the story goes from here.

R.I.P. Kefenhiller.

This is the second old man that has died in Yang's wake. I am currently nursing a theory that he's a knowledge-vampire that sucks it out of old, wise men and causes them to die mysteriously, while growing exponentially smarter himself. Nothing else explains his genius.

P.S. Possible identifier: The knowledge-vampire must deal with large amounts of information being transferred to his/her brain very quickly. This causes discomfort, and might make the vampire scratch his/her head a lot.

Interesting theory you have there, I couldn't agree more you, and not to forget the vampire needs a lot of tea and brandy.

Well that was a little bit expected death, still happy he died as a free man, being able to celebrate and enjoy himself rather than dying alone and lonely in the prison cell, wonder how are people in empire that know him are still doing these days, guess we will never see their reaction after all
