| According to animator Murata Toshiharu's blog, animator Yamauchi Toshio passed away on August 24th. Director Daichi Akitaroh looked back over Yamauchi's contributions to Ojarumaru and cried all the night through. Director Hirakawa Tetsuo tweeted that the deaths of Kon Satoshi and Yamauchi Toshio have changed the history of anime.
