| Lelouch for being a crazyass charismatic character with too many emotional faults. Kyon for being a deadpan in a world of weirdness. Onizuka for being a wise insanely strong/immortal perverted teacher. ...Yeap. They're pretty different. Only Renton and Simon shares some similarity, I guess. Haruhi would be another deadpan in Ouran, so she would share some qualities with Kyon, I guess. Yang would be another "wise" kind of guy, but no where as unrealistic as Onizuka. Most of my 10 characters are male though. Only Haruhi is a girl, and she had to act like a guy most of the time. |
| All my favourite characters tend to be kickass strong females - Lucy, C.C. Kallen, Rena, Saya, etc. Or very intelligent males... So I guess so... I'd never really thought about it before. |

| Yup,I think they're similar in a slight way.Some of them are ''wandering souls''.They lost happiness and are trying to restore it. Some of them have a traumatizing past(Asuka,Fumika) or have some things lingering from their past(Motoko).They also have a special aura around them.A kind of subtle emotional instability.They're deliciously empty or they put up a facade underneath which there's a mysterious ''disease'',a fear or maybe uncertainty... |

| Aside from the fact all the characters on my favorite characters list are guys minus Hatsune Miku, they're all different from each other. They range from a laid-back bounty hunter to a socially awkward mecha pilot to the world's greatest unlicensed surgeon. But if I had to pick one similarity, it would have to be that half of the characters on my list touch upon certain aspects of humanity within their respective shows, mainly Spike, Light, the Evangelion characters, and Black Jack. |

| My favourite characters are a mixed bunch. We have the chilled samurai Gintoki, the intelligent psychopath Light, the cheerful Nodame, Asuka the tsundere, Touka the honorable clutz, the badass comedy queen Kagura, the realistic hero Kenji, the eccentric sportsman Peco, Konata the otaku and the cool Spike. Five males, five females, all totally different. Although right now all of my favourite characters are narrators because I was bored, so yeah, they're identical. |

| I have too many faves to put in my list, but whether they're on my list or not, they're similar. On my list now are: Yagami, Light Simon Hiiragi, Kagami Kamina Tenma, Kenzo Keehl, Mihael Ginko Sohma, Kyo the Stampede, Vash Itoshiki, Nozomu I tend to like badasses, insane characters, characters with common sense, tsundere types, characters (typically men) who help people but don't make a big deal of it, anti-heroes or unfortunate people. All of the characters mentioned up there and most of my other faves fall into one or more of those categories. |

| mine are the most eccentric or quirky characters, and the shonen characters have the added trait of being ridiculously powerful too. Example: Monkey D. Luffy, Tobi, L, Black Star, Train Heartnet. Also on the list: Edward Elric. Kind of a normal guy, but when he's angry, oh how I laugh. C: Rena Ryuuguu - 'Take it Home' mode combined with psychotic tendencies. Win. Yuki Nagato - quiet, but totally badass when she shows off her skills. Konata Izumi - just the regular otaku, but an amazing one. :D and Grell Sutcliff. He's crazy. 8D |

| Hm... most of my favorite characters have a bit (or a lot) of an attitude, are stubborn and independent, and are hilarious to watch. At the same time, they do have sad/sensitive sides that come out when needed. |

| Going by the 7 characters I have on my favorites list: 5 are kind, strong, unique people with a good heart - people that I wish to be more like. 1 is... I dunno, a really good-looking jerk (for the most part) and 1 is a tsundere that I just have a soft spot for. So yes, 5/7 of my characters are quite similar I would have to say :) |
