| This is already better than Sailor Moon R. And yeah, I agree with insan3soldiern, the Ikuhara vibes have pretty much doubled. I'm also noticing much better allocation of animation budget here; they skillfully cut from everything else so that the scenes with more action can have better animation. |

| Well it definitely has a better start than the previous arc! I never realised they were still all in middle school all of them all this time!?! And now Mamoru (who is a college guy) is beginning to act like a complete immature virginal idiot - a typical theme for male characters in Japanese animes. |

| Nice first episode. I heard this season is great, so I was looking forward to it. I liked the renewal of the opening. And I'm kinda glad they left the same ending, it's nice. |

| We either had to deal with dark forces from the past and evil alien guys from the furture, and now it's a crazy mad scientist who can create even more stronger enemies than those clowns in the previous seasons. Seems like a good beginning. |

| Nice first episode. O: I liked all the UsaGei. And it's good how everyone got the gist of everything so quickly at the end...it's better than drawing things out like the last two seasons. |
| So I always watched Sailor Moon dubbed. And the first thing that popped in my mind was.. whatthefreckhappenedtothevoiceactors? I even checked the voice acting list and they appear the same (except for Sailor Venus changing time to time). Then why do Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus sound so different? Sailor Moon's the worse atm. I hope they get their voices back in check after a few episodes. :\ Nvm. I just saw a video pointing out their voices changed. |

| Will these people ever learn to talk about the visions in their dreams? Is it a Japanese thing to be reluctant to talk about dreams? Even so, this is a world where evil guys try to destroy humanity all the damn time and they can literally do magic. One would think they would have learned from their past experiences. It looks like this time the bad guy is a mad scientist, which is a fun new development. But at the same time we'll probably see the same old monsters-of-the-week again. I do like the improved animation quality and while I probably prefer the original, the new OP is cool, too! The sailor soldiers got their asses handed to them in this pilot episode, which was really cool to see! It feels like the stakes are high this time around. Not even Tuxedo Mask could save them this time. And poor Rei got obliterated by the black boob beam of doom? Holy shit! I am sure those hidden sailor soldiers in the tree are not REALLY evil and just appear so... but damn. This promises to be a very interesting watch! Let's see whether the fillers will be enjoyable or hot garbage, and if the conclusion to this story arc will be epic. I hope the bady guys get some characterization later on, or at least some motivation. I am pumped! |

| Much more stakes than R, everyone almost died in the first episode and everything. I like how they put the professor in silhouette unlike in the manga where you can see his face from day one but I think the design for the Daimons when not possessing something is much worse compared to the more horrific manga designs. Also, is the "pure hearts" things they're talking about the same as the hostes from the manga because they both seem to be souls? |

| Very high quality episode, it looked beautiful and the animation was the best of the series so far by some distance, and on top of that storytelling was engaging and emotionally impactful. If this keeps up, S is going to be the best season hands down. |
