According to Flex Comix, Yukiwo's manga "Mushashino-sen no Shimai" was announced to get a movie adaptation. The details of the movie will be announced later. Synopsis: Midorikawa sisters Ranko (Ran) and Hikaru (Pandora) live a NEET life in a luxury apartment. One day, Pandora starts working in a maid-cafe in Akihabara. Ran gets irritated to see her sister enjoying working outside while Ran herself is still a hikikomori. The synopsis seems interesting enough. I don't know why everyone's complimenting the art, it seems average to me, but oh well. For me I might watch it, maybe not; was never into movies that much.  |
Wow hikikomori theme like on Welcome to the NHK. I hope it will have a good presentation of characters too. Better if there's psychological immersion :) Interesting, I'll be looking forward to this movie. :D Plan to read the manga after the movie :D Edit: Read all the MAL feeds, so it's a live action movie.....
