Oh god, I remember being fresh. Leaving middle school, so excited for high school, and then once summer ended and it was actually happening, I was horrified. First day was really hard, because all the upperclassmen picked on the freshman so much. I was afraid that my whole year was gonna be like that. But before the first week even ended, I met a bunch of awesome upperclassmen, most of them are still my friends, even if they're in college. And I don't know if they do like they do for us when they divide all of the major things, like lunch and PE, into different grades.

First week, you're gonna feel dejected. But after that, you sorta ease your way in, and it gets a lot better. So don't worry too much about it, and just enjoy yourself, because soon you'll be like me, wondering how the fuck you got to junior year so quickly

High school is nothing to be afraid of.You just need to socialize this is the key of getting acomodating easy ;)

High school, hmmm..when I got into highschool it was the same for me, but it isnt different from middle school, just work hard and be yourself :D and you wont have a problem~~ !! Good luck :3

High school isn't as great as it's all cracked up to be, if you ask me. Many of my former friends became douchebags and became people who I never spoke to again, while some of my friends matured into quite nice people. From my experiences, you truly find out who you are as a person in high school, which is one positive that I found out. Also, do not be afraid to socialize with those that share the same interests with you or that just appeal to you. Like Luna_Winter said, being yourself really is the best policy.
