Sion have it hard.
Seeing that he have so little power and control over people, it wouldn't be weird for him to seek these for the sake of creating a more peacefull country.

Interesting episode, the bits with Ryner was awesome (obviously), but I thought the last part was actually pretty good as well. Froaude is so cool ... a new character to like! Still unsure what his intentions are though ... :P
EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm loving the music here

Gotta love Ryner, the ridiculously overpowered protagonist and at the same time the comic relief character, and Ferris, his so called "bodyguard" and constant ego basher, who would prob let him die over some dumplings haha....the two combined are pure win!

I think so.

I like Claugh's seiyuu 8D And Claugh himself, while we're at that. I just hope he gets to live, because this show's not afraid of killing off its supporting characters.

I liked the last scene. Basically, Sion agreeing to hire someone for the dirty work admits that there is going to be dirty work involved xD Well, it was obvious from the start that nice words won't work on people like those nobles.

I still don't understand why Ferris keeps calling Ryner a sex fiend. I think she WANTS him to be a sex fiend for her own personal gratification!!!

Maybe you got something there. Someone seems to want to be molested.

I think this is an indication that perhaps Sion will soon become corrupted by power, the want to conquer new lands and he will be influenced by Froaude in a bad way.

Yeah, it looks like his turning to the dark side. But since he hasn't yet what is his reason for wanting that man? Did he suddenly discover ambition while hearing him, or does he thinks of him as useful even if there plans are different? Maybe he had a purpose of doing some conquering from the start?
And why does that Froaude dude thinks that the new king wanted to create a big empire? He seems smart so he should have realized the new king wasn't going for that. Does he know the king better than us? Maybe Sion isn't as peaceful as the show let us believe? Or did he find it irrelevant that the king isn't really of the same mindset and believes he can influence him on becoming like he expects him to be?

Also i got the feeling that there is a good possibility of Sion becoming a conqueror and Ryner may stand against him in battle in the side of the other kingdom after the library guy we saw in this episode becomes king of that kingdom.
All seem to link to that if we remember the words of Ryner about wars getting started from motivated guys like Sion. On the other hand this guy we saw today in the library isn't really that motivated for power and authority. His happy just trying to get by. Maybe his gonna be the good
King that Ryner will serve under and Sion the evil guy.

Oh boy, now Iris joined in abusing Ryner. The more I get intrigued by the story the more I get annoyed by Ryner and his -dere companion(s). That "humor" makes me cringe.

Listen, everybody wants change, don't nobody want to change though
don't nobody want to pray, till they got something to pray for
now everybody's gonna die, but don't everybody live though

This gives me some kind of Deathnote feeling when Sion is talking. I liked the part where the guy he saved was killed. I felt the anger. lol and that purple crow guy.

With all her 'sex prowl' BS, Eris is just second to her sister who's the most annoying thing I've ever seen.

Ferris is such a bitch and Iris is even worse. Getting old already. There isn't even the usual half-assed justifications for hitting here, it just happens for no reason. Stupid.

Didn't expect Fiole to die so early and little sad about his death. Would have more impact if he didn't seem like a character that was added for no other reason then to be killed off, though. Sion telling him to take time off seemed like a big death flag to me so knew it was coming but still expected it to come a little later, like the next episode or something. Oh well, RIP Fiole.

As for Sion, don't really know what's up there yet. Is there really something dark about his intent or just something in that one guys head? Is Sion going to get darker as the series progresses and become power hungry himself? If so will that lead Ryner to turn against him? Don't know but it should be interesting. I hope.

Well, it wasn't so much that he just opened his eyes then. It was more him finally snapping, from rage and a need to protect her, when the, seemingly, only person in the world that he 'actually' cares about, is about to be raped.

Well, remember, he said he will do anything for a promotion (and even gave examples :P), he likes power. Being that he is only a LT Commander in the military, working as a right hand/underling directly for the King would be quite a promotion.

Well, personally, I think that him taking Froaude just shows that he does indeed understand at least a little of the way the world really works. That good intentions and happy feelings can only get you so far, and that he will need some people behind him that are willing to do....less scrupulous things. I am sure Froaude assumes this because most Kings say they want peace while seeking to conquer the world, and Froaude probably just assumes that Sion is the same. I do however agree, I do believe that Sion will slowly become more and more corrupt, till he's as bad, or worse, as the nobles he originally detested.

Needs more action! The action in this anime is actually really good, but there hasn't been much yet.

This is starting to get a bit interesting, i wonder who the mysterious killer was who killed Fiole. I smell a trap and i don't know if i can trust that guy Fraude. Even though Sion took him under his tutelage, i think that was a bad move. Something obviously is going wrong in the kingdom and he's a bit to blinded to see it.

Anyways i like how they shown the different adventures that sion and ryner are both living in contrast to each other. Sion has it much harder thats for sure.

I try to laugh during comedic moments, but its like most people say Eris is quite annoying and just kicks the crap out of ryner for no reason what so ever. She is a real bitch and her little sister isn't that much better. When ever some kind of comedy moment comes up in this show, i more so just roll my eyes instead of really laughing.

And whats up with ryners personality, given his horrible past bout how all his friends were slaughtered, i don't understand how some one like that can just be so care free and not caring, all he cares bout his taking afternoon naps. It kind of seems off to me. He has not shown any willingness or any degree of a goal or ambitions. I hope they explain the reasoning behind his silly actions.

Loli punch! Funny how Ryner deflected all her initial attacks and not the last one.

Poor Fiole...finally reunited with his sister, gets promoted to work for Sion, then gets killed.

Froaude seems interesting. The one that'll carry out Sion's darkest wishes because Sion does have them.
