Media Factory launched an official website of manga "Freezing" on July 27th. Judging from the url "freezing.tv" and the copy right holder "Freezing Production Committee", a TV anime of the manga will be announced at Comiket 78 to be held this August.
Sounds good. I like the manga and was hoping it or Aflame Inferno got turned into an anime instead of Kurokami. I didn't really like how the Kurokami anime story turned out in the second half. I was pretty disappointed by it.
Happy for that.
About Aflame Inferno, it's sad but actually, if the manwha don't continue with future RAW (the last volume was out like 2 years ago), don't think about a anime version.
Anyways, for the tits ... Freezing is published in Comic Valkyrie : A magazine for teenagers, young male adult.
It's ALL about beautiful bishojo girls who fight each others ... Look at all the publication in and you will saw ...
If that don't please you, don't have to see it. :D
Freezing is good, Onihime too, Aflame Inferno is the same ! :)
Actually I like this one. When I went to Japan I wanted to buy a vol or one, but it was unreadable. The kanji were something else. I mean I've been learning Japanese for four years but that was.. I don't even know the right words >.<. Anyway I would gladly watch the series :). As for Aflame Inferno.. I just love it, but I guess we can just wait :)
And Unbalance X Unbalance take forever to try to have a good story. :/
So sad ... But yes, it's really cliche to have a love between Teacher and Student ... Like in a bad hentai story. XD
Or like Onegai Teacher ...
My favorite story so far of Im dal Young is The Legend of Maian.
Hey, guys I was just wondering.. is it me or there are only people who don't like ecchi posting here. I mean come on if you don't like it then just ignore it.. Sure, there are much better choices than this but we can't do anything about it. Or of course you can just start buying your favorite manga each vol twice or even more in order to get it animated. It depends on the sales of a manga whether is it going to be animated or not. It's obvious that the majority of the anime fans and otakus and such prefer ecchi, not horror or action of some sort. So just stick with it.

i think people are less upset about its existence than are upset over the fact that other, much better series are continually passed up for adaption while titty manga get top priority.

protip: japanese producers don't give two shits what sells internationally (in fact, many hardcore japanese fans look on gaijin anime fans with disdain). unless you're importing the japanese tankoubon, it's not making any impact.

speak for yourself. i'm pretty sure you couldn't be more wrong on this point.

japanese manga and merchandise sales are what determine anime adaptions and funding. you know what merchandise sells? anatomically correct figurines, body pilows, fanservice posters and artwork...k-on! sold synthetic replicas of the girls' privates. plot- or character- driven series rarely have that kind of merch.
it doesn't mean fewer people like the series (especially in the west, where the culture is less sexually repressed), it just means it isn't a cash cow.
Why is everyone's head blowing up because of the Kurokami anime?
I know nothing of Freezing, but the manga of Kurokami is quite good even if the anime wasn't. You don't know that Kobayashi Tsuneo is directing this, do you?
SageShinigami said: I haven't read Freezing in ages, but last I checked it was pretty fucking epic. How many people here even READ the shit? Or are you all just reading the MAL description and coming here to trash it?
I'm current on it, and feel pretty confident still declaring that it is a tad interesting at first, but it eventually descends to and stays at a horrible level of melodrama and disjointedness. Fanservice is far from the reason why I'm disappointed in this anime announcement.
Speaking as someone who enjoys about a third of the ecchi I watch, bashing ecchi based on minimal information is to be expected, as the vast majority of it (with somenotableexceptions) is pretty crap in the romance and story department. It does sell, though, primarily thanks to those "silent majority gentlemen" who buy uncensored DVDs at a rate of 80$ per two episodes.
