So its summer I'm oom (out of money) and I'm bored. Thing is that i stopped playing video games when ps2 came out and i made the big mistake of buying X-BoX. Past 6 years only things iv been playing are HoN, DotA , Starcraft and Starcraft 2. So i want something interesting for pc.

Likes

1) Hard games ( the harder the better)
2) Rpgs
3) puzzles

Dislikes

1) ALL MMORPGS ( I HATE THEM)
2) FPS like CS or CoD ( But if its a fun game which focus on story and riddles/puzzles/missions i dont mind)
3) All sport games

So examples of games i liked in the past

Wild Arms 1+2
Final Fantasy 1-9
Medievil 1-2
Diablo 1-2
Metal Gear Solid
Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic

Ok thats all. Any help appreciated.

PS
I don't own a ps2/ps3/xbox360. I DONT WANT TO KNOW SO DONT TELL ME WHAT I COULD PLAY IF I HAD THAT CONSOLE THANK YOU VERY MUCH

RPG's
Deus Ex.
It is an FPS but it its more like an FPS/RPG hybrid (focus on the former) with one of the best stories ever in a game.

Planescape Torment & Baldur's Gate
Great RPG's a bit like Diablo but better.

Fallout 1-2
Great classics.
3 is also good too but its an RPG/FPS and not my cup of tea :(

Elder Scrolls
Not much to say about this. Either you like it and enjoy it's depth and world or you don't.

Might & Magic Series
Can't really explain but it's a great game. Try it out if you can.

Puzzles
Braid
Puzzle Platformer but it's definately a game everybody should play. A bit eccentric though.

World of Goo
Fun original game but there isn't much to it imo.

Crayon Physics Deluxe

Puzzle Quest

Monkey Island series
Puzzle/Adventure - Definately a must-play especially with the enhanced remakes.

- That's all i can name atm ><

The only JRPGs I've played on PC are the ys series.
ys Origin
ys I & II
ys The Oath in Felghana
ys VI

Although only ys 1 & 2, felghana had english patch... I think.
And there's DJ MAX Trilogy but that's a music game.

Second these.
My god, Bard's Tale was a blast. One of the best humor in games I ever played ^^

+

The Witcher
Dragon Age: Origins
Neverwinter Nights
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Dungeon Siege

that's enough till winter let alone this summer.

Mass Effect 1&2. It's a FPS rpg though, but it has a nice story IMO.
Seconding Dragon Age and the YS games.

There's The Last Remnant too, don't think the story was to great(didn't play much), but the combat was kinda fun.
but if you have a ATI card you're gonna have to turn off shaders or turn them down, cause SE did a half-assed port, still don't even think they fixed that yet.

In case you're wondering, ys: the oath in felghana is actually the remake of ys III and you're better off starting with Felghana since I & II are pretty oldschool.

Sorry, I misread. Don't have a fit. -.-;

I'd also like to second Fallout 1 and 2. Amazing, amazing CRPGs. Be sure to install the latest updates if you get around to playing them, and I'd recommend using mods to alter some of the settings (fixes game-ending glitches, fixes the encounter rate, and a plethora of things that are buggy).

It's a Third-Person Shooter, not First-Person, and I'd say shooting accounts for only about 50-60% of the gameplay. I second these games. Play both. The first game has its share of glitches, but the sequel is next to perfect. However, you won't enjoy the second game as much if you don't play the first. It really makes you feel like you are part of the in-game world. Very immersive and entertaining.

Also, they're from BioWare, the developer of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, so I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

pretty much anything from bioware.
cuz theyre that good :)

if u like puzzle games, u should check out the newer tomb raiders.
it looks like a tps but its not. they have real auto aiming.
u hold down the right mouse button and spam the left mouse button.
the only reason i ever died in that game, was falling off ledges.

its a great puzzle game in my opinion XD
