| When thinking about Tenjou Tenge I always thought, "It's like Bleach (because I read bleach first), except, trying to make an attempt at a story." I stopped reading somewhere around 121 so I don't feel remorse or appeal. I must say though, it's good that it's coming to an end. That is to say, if it's coming to an end on Oh Great's terms. Perhaps I'll pick it up again for some closure. |

If you thought the school arc was confusing wait till the get to the flash backs and flash backs within flash backs. The fighting wont even make sense at that point. Especially towards the end. You literally have characters standing still yet managing to blow apart buildings lol. The art is/was the only real thing the manga had going for it. If it wasn't for that I would have stopped reading it a long time ago. |

I for one also finds the plot refreshing, but To me Tenjou tenge is fake,a wanna be it claims to be a violent seinen manga but it is nothing more than a joke. The violence , fight and event death are artificial. Instead of brutally murdering subdued enemies, the characters start preaching bla bla bla and then let them go scotch free. Ogure redeems Ts umuji mataza and his brother, Hiriko, and mitsuomi. he has no guts to kill them off. Even Shin's death feels artificial coz he later apperead in a spirit form to give maya advice on love. For a fan of violent games such god of war series, assain creed . like me Tenjou tenge is a dissapointment FFS seinen =/= violence |
