You're likely getting the email spam due to the email address on your profile. The bot must have been "smart" enough to complete your ... I am going to assume it's him from the name and from the other user post on his profile, join date and lack of profile stuff. He just seems like a spammer to me. |

(And keeping the 2 list for sync purpose isn't a valid argument as there is an export functionality) |
| This may sound kind of odd, but I would like to request deletion of two of my own accounts, so that the usernames will be freed up. A while ago (July 11th), the website was kind of acting up when I tried to create an account. For some reason it wouldn't work right. Therefore I ended up making 3 accounts. One of them was: Onyxthgreat (that was a typo, a mistake from my end =$). and the other was: Onyxer (this one I created because my current account just wouldn't activate/validate at the time) Sorry for the weird request, but I don't know where to post it elsewhere. When multiple people do it it does effect the ratings though. |
| If we start disallowing people to score 1s, then we have to with 10s, too. And then 2s and 9s. Heck, why have a scoring system at all then? The problem we have with scoring trolls is all of the accounts they create to swing one score up or down a few points. If I'm going to decide that someone isn't allowed to give X anime a score of 3, then I might as well just set the anime's score myself and not let anyone change it. I hope you see where I'm coming from :) |

| http://myanimelist.net/profile/JuliusRage That guy created his account almost 2 weeks ago, had one day of trolling through the forum(I was on at the time) and then apparently added only 1 anime, rated it low and never logged in again. For me this is a 100% case of a troll account, though it may be too early to tell. He may come back to troll the forums once again. |

| All done. I left JuliusRage and RageBorne as they are forum/review trolls with actual people behind the screen names so they would simply be banned; we're after bots and users who make multiple accounts in an effort to manipulate the ranking or the scores. Thanks. |
