| Fujiko was at her best this episode. I rather enjoyed seeing her helpless hanging from a tree with Jigen and Lupin laughing at her. The little giggle she gave after she brought down that two person glider was unexpected, but I found it really cute of her to do. Great episode! |

| I lol'd at Zenigata, the boss and Lupin cursng and angrily walking around their room in the exact same manner. While Fujiko is my least fave out of the main gang bc her personality's pretty dull to me, I always appreciate how bad-ass and manipulative she is. I also quite like her VA from back in this series. |

| Cool episode, but a bit frustrating. If only Fujiko really wanted to share those diamonds they all could have won. But she tried to keep it all to herself, and this time it didn't work out. The dynamic between them was as great as ever though. |

| Greed outwitted everyone in this episode. Only Jigen was reasonable. Jewelry owner being exposed out of nowhere was a bit unexpected. |
| Found this episode a bit lackluster and don't really like the redesign of Fujiko that happened since Takahata and Miyazaki fully took the reigns. Also I noticed that the artwork is getting less detailed and the animation is a lot more choppy and less fluid. I'm guessing they were facing budget setbacks at this point due to the show not being very popular at the time. Though these episodes are also interesting in the fact that it's getting closer and closer to the second incarnation of this show, both in tone and character design. eski514 said: Felt like a change in direction along with that new intro. If you look in anidb you will see that Miyazaki and Takahata pretty much took over direction duties at episode 13, after the former main director left, so that would explain the shift in direction, maybe this is where they started to really try to make the show their own. Honestly I'm luke warm on their episodes so far, and I'll admit that I'm not the biggest fan of Miyazaki's direction style, but maybe it will get better, it's still relatively early in their run. |

| Lupin walking in with the hose and Jigen coming in after was a great scene. Vacuuming up the jewels with that song going on was a nice touch. |
| Also this memorable episode, in which the character of Lupin makes one of his most daring and funny robberies, sure that for Jigen to stay behind his friend is really complicated because of his bad temper. A laughing story from the beginning to the end, in which Lupin's brilliant ideas are many and in which we discover another bit of his character, even if similar characters, like the men of the past in which things were done also for anger or love, they are gone now, alas! The new opening is excellent, although I prefer this opening with the musical commentary of "Planet O" by Daisy Daze & The Bumble Bees. <3 |
