| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow. What an ending. Honestly, I was expecting Jack to win. O_O So, ah... what exactly does the appearance of the third dragon mean? What's the significance of Yusei and Jack's dragon marks? What's going to happen to Yusei now? D: ...And why are there not female characters?! So many questions already, and we're only 5 episodes in. xD |
| Well that end messed up my theories. Sucks that it didn't tell what the traps were so just left wondering till next episode. That was one weird dragon, probably will play a important role. |

| Wow that was a really intense duke-out. And the mysterious red dragon appearing. I'm sure the marks/tattoos are important as well. So, Yusei's getting arrested. This is s first for a protagonist... Things are starting to get really interesting. |

| Well, it got pretty interesting towards the end. Heard very often that the plot of 5D's is apparently pretty good, so I expect a lot. |

| Lol I don't understand why some many people above were questioning why there weren't any female characters when: a) we literally had one (Mikage) hanging out with Rex Goodwin for most of this episode, and b) anyone who paid attention to any posters or promotional material for this series should've known about the female cast members that would eventually appear even if they were new to the series. Anyway, I remember not liking that the duel between Yusei and Jack was interrupted, although I liked how Yusei took control of Stardust Dragon even if he didn't get to keep it. The fact that Yusei just got his birthmark surprised me since I didn't pick up on that until I saw this episode for the 4th time. |
| Looks like we're finally getting into the real plot of this series. Spooky Crimson Dragon. If nothing else, the battle between Stardust and Red Dragon was somewhat interesting. Though, I still prefer any of the Yugi vs Kaiba duels over this one. |
