Oooh, "Sophie's World" was really good. I liked it, but I should probably re-read it, since I was a bit too small to understand everything perfectly. Yeah, thanks :D

I just read Kossakowska's short story tome, "Żarna Niebios", which roughly translates to "Handmills of Heavens". And I gotta say, I'm now fixated on badass angels in leather jackets 8D

Anyway, picked up Vampire Academy. I doubt I can finish this. I can't stand the way it's written.

I'm currently reading Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski. It's a sequel to The Last Wish as the events that took place in that book, reflect now in this. It's a 2nd book in The Witcher saga. I have a few pages left :'( Can't wait for Times of Contempt to be translated in to English. Sadly that will be in 2011 in april :/

Since I'm familiar with the witcher's world, these two were easy to read. The characters are familiar and the way Sapkowski moves from one time to another, one place to other these were not hard to follow as I expect would be to most people that aren't so familiar with it. He's got really an excellent knack for narration and very vivid way of character and atmosphere descriptions. Curse words aren't foreign too lol, which makes that entire world very believable. He relies heavily on Slavic mythology and that was one of the things I loved so much.

I'd recommend this to any witcher fan, but also to any fantasy novel's fan, as this would be a great new discovery for them :)

Me on the other hand, can't wait for that april 2011.

I am currently reading "Paradise Lost", the old English poem by John Milton. It's about the fall of Satan from Heaven, and how he tempts Adam and Eve and battles the 4 Archangels of God: Uriel, Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. The vocabulary is really advanced along with the syntax. The story is so compelling though.
