| If you didn't notice, "Voice Actors" has been changed to "People" on the left navigation menu. What does this mean? Basically, we're moving to a more 'central' type of database. Where once we just had voice actors, now we'll be able to add any type of person that works on an anime/manga to the database. So far, you can only reference Voice Actors and Manga Authors. However, some time in the future, you'll be able to add directors, animators, and other jobs to the mix. You can technically add these people already, but you won't be able to label their work yet. An example of a new manga author with his own "work" page: Naoki Urasawa. You can also "Add Work" and "Remove Work" for our manga moderators to check. The people AND character search areas have been been reworked. They are no longer as "broad" as they were before. Expect to get more refined results. And of course, you can now add these people to your favorites area on your profile. All areas should have been relabeled as "people" now. Limit has been increased from 5 to 7. Enjoy! :) |

| Seeing the thread topic of VAs being changed to "people" made me go "the hell?", but since you're adding production staff to it, I guess this seems to be a nice addition to the database. Now, it'll be just like Anidb. :) |

| I like the fact that more information is being added to the site, but I would personally prefer that voice actors be kept separate on the favorites part of the profile. Regardless this puts more information on the site so it's still a definite improvement regardless of how you look at this. |
