| I believe his plan was to get caught from the beginning. He's gonna use this as an excuse to get on the sub and capture the Whispered. That's just what I think anyways. At this point I could see him never dying and at the end have them say, "Oh yeah, didn't you know, hes Satan, you can't kill him!" or something lame like that. |

He needs to just die.. and like many have said, it was all a plan to get captured. I'm guessing there are some "double agents" on board the submarine that'll help him wreak havoc. That bastard. | Well that was an interesting second half. I thought Gauron gave up too easily and wondered if the Arbalest may have been sabotaged somehow. Judging by the preview at least the former seems confirmed. Not too concerned for Mao, but she better not die. >:( |

| This show really needs more "Whispered" development ... it's only been about Gauron and the Lambda Driver ... I understand the harsh reaction from the commander but it's holding him down for now. Guaron surely has a plan being forced outside of his mecha so easily and fast. |

This season is 24 episodes long, almost 24 eps of Gauron is the big bad guy... lack of creativity really. As for Sousuke, I think his last battle deeply scared him and as such he cant use Lambda Driver, but why the fuck isnt AL responding to him? This series is awfully good in out of nowhere making villains OP unrealistically, and downgrading MC power, just so suddently there can be a major turn up and MC wins. It happens on alot of stories, but I m annoyed it keeps happening here because the plot has potential for way more than this nonsense, and I actually enjoy the cast alot to, so it is hard to swallow. |

| You would've thought, knowing that they keep dealing with Gauron using a Lambda driver AS where he is capable of using it at will, that Mithril would've actually put Sousuke through some training drills with the Lambda driver by now. He got damn lucky since Al wouldn't even talk when he needed it. Would have also thought the assassination for Gauron would still be valid since those mercenaries balls'd up the previous mission. So even though he is 'surrendering', killing him outright there and then would be justified as not a war crime. Especially when he was beaten too easily and the preview shows he's definitely up to something. |
