So Johan is going to kill everyone at that city? From Grimmer's talk with Runge, that's what I could assume.

Interesting, I never expected Runge and Grimmer to work together. That house must belong to Bonaparta I guess.

P.S. that couple that won the lottery were super paranoid 8|

Grimmer's back! I really hoped we'd see him again -- we never did learn what the "important things" in that huge bag of his are, did we? And it's nice to see him doing what he was when we first saw him -- investigating and being way ahead of Tenma. But this time Runge, who is quickly becoming a force for good, is there too. Grimmer's a reasonable guy, and manages to convince even the stubbornest asshole in the universe that they have common interests. Though I did think to myself -- come on Grimmer. You're a master spy but you haven't changed your appearance at all, and you stick out like a really sore thumb. Changing your name's not quite good enough when you're a really distinctive looking tall guy who always carries a huge bag and is wanted for multiple murders!

I'm really loving this show though. These past few episodes have been amazing.

What an awesome episode. I have a feeling that the people in the town are all going to kill eachother. The town seems to already be on edge. Alittle manipulation here and there and it's like a domino effect. How does Grimmer and Lunge know? I'm looking forward to the next few episodes!

Ok I loved seeing Grimmer and Runge working together, but this episode feels a bit antclimatic being so close to the end of the series as we are.

If the couple winning the lottery causes the whole town to go into a killing frenzy I might lol just a bit. Also why they heck did whoever was living their shoot a cat with a submachine gun, assuming they work for Bonaparta they should be pros... What kind of pro would fire a round in a city where their are pretty much no guns.

Same here.

I feel really bad for that kid, Vin. I was ready to cry when his deadbeat dad shoved him out of the house. Whatever goes down in that town, I hope he makes it out alive.

Also, hooray for Grimmer. I think he and Lunge should go into business together. They look like they stumbled out of a crime fighting sitcom.

Pretty interesting episode.

About Episode:

So Lunge came to Rurenheim and predicted that something bad will be happening there. And I couldn't believe that Grimmer is also there. Lunge really did his investigations for this town and Lunge.

Seems like that lottery might be Johan's plan that old guy probably met him and Johan got him manipulated and said those numbers would win. And tell he asked to that old guy to told that couple of those numbers. Good thing was that they found the dog which was missing. And he was alright.

I really wanna said that boy who got bullied all the time. It sure is sad his father didn't care about him at all. And only cared about alcohol. Luckily that old hotel guy with sunglasses helped that boy.

So Bonaparte lived in Rurenheim and looks like he was mentally obsessed with the twins so many times drew same picture. I wonder who was that man who was in the end and eliminated that old man who gave those numbers for the couples.

Those sketches from opening, finally. So, Franz Bonaparta was around when children was in hospital, drawing them?

I am starting to think that he told Johan something when he was young and that twisted him up, perhaps something about his plan. Could all Johan's doings be according to Bonaparta plan? With his experiment - was he testing if he could corrupt innocent child into killer? (aka Nina who lived happy life wheras Johan was sent to Kinderheim 511) What was the purpose of killings of all those pairs who sheltered children in the past. Were the unnecessary for this world? Remember, everything is going according to plan.

Anyway, this town is full of corrupted unnecessary people, perfect to be burned. Are those inhabitants and their children all part of bigger K511-like experiment?

Organization is in there also. We are coming full circle now.

great episode :D

Lunge seems to be more relaxed here, but we all know why he came all the way from a deserted town like this :P

those trashy kids are fucking assholes. i want to punch them in the fucking face.

Wim looks like Dieter tbh XD

so Lunge still knows that his daughter had already conceived his grandson huh? i wonder why he still haven't contacted them?

poor Wim being bullied by everyone. at least the hotel owner guy is kind enough to shelter him

finally Grimmer is here!!! never thought we would see Grimmer and Lunge together working!! i didn't even know Lunge was able to get Grimmer's detailed information just like that. his memory is full of mysteries :)

and i can't believed there will be a massacre here? is it because of the Lottery money? how the hell did Grimmer and Lunge know that there's gonna be a massacre? and what about Johan? i thought he was the one that will start the massacre.

the couple are so paranoid as hell!!

so Franz Bonaparta did lived in that silent town. i wonder how was he able to draw Johan and Nina even if they were in the hospital where Tenma had an operation with Johan? they did report that the kids has managed to cross the border to the west.

it's kinda slow, but i have a feeling something big is gonna happen starting next episode!!

looks like i'll have to take a break and finish this tomorrow night :)

love the series!!! i can't wait on how will this end!!

..And the award for most paranoid people in the world goes to...

Also, GRIMMER!

Looks like Franz lives in that town. I'm getting a feeling that he's one of the people who were already shown in this episode. Considering how many years it's been, I'm guessing he's either the old guy in the wheelchair, or the hotel manager.

The episodes are building up what seems to be a super paced finale. Nice to see Grimmer and Lunge back, i'm curious to know about how they got there. Also, what is Runge planning to do, cause you know he is close to succesfully close the Tenma case, what has been his life for 10 years. The only negative thing is that Johan's plan isn't clear to me (he plans to kill Bonaparta, what then? just fapping about the killz?)

IMO, the biggest problem about Monster is that we don't have a clue about what Johan want, what he plans, and why.

So far, in 68 ep, Johan is just a Hitler wanabe killing old people for the lolz.
We don't know what he was doing for the last ten years, then why he approached Schwald, why he wanted Anna to shoot him 10 years ago...

We don't have a clue about who is the villain, what he want to do, why.
I would be ok about keeping the villain and his ambitions shrouded in mystery, but only if we had a little bit of information.

So, Johan chose a place where most of the citizens aren’t happy with their lives or have some kind of difficulties in their day to day life and going by what Grimmer told Lunge it seems Johan plan a massacre. That means the town is the ideal place to start a chain reaction via manipulation the perfect way to cause mistrust between townsfolks thus starting the second Kinderheim 511 incident. This dude is wicked!

On a side note:
Why is Wim calling those douchebags friends…?

Dang this one was good, seeing Lunge and Grimmer team up was almost Layton/Wright tier. Hopefully it doesn't all fall apart at the end.

I doubt Johan is gonna kill everyone since that's not really his style but I can see him somehow rigging the lottery to turn everyone against themselves, especially now that guns are present. This is gonna be a good final arc. Speaking of which, I got some food from my favorite local mom and pop restaurant and a can of Vanilla Coke, it's time to binge the rest of the series.
