It still feels like a fever dream to me that not one, but TWO Wayama Yama works are getting animated by the exact same people in the exact same season, it's bonkers (just like all the mangaka's work tbh) but I'm so damn hyped like holy crap! I'm especially excited for Karaoke Iko, July just can't come soon enough, it seems.

The opening song could be better, but maybe it'll grow me. I'm getting the impression that "Karaoke Iko!" and "Muchuu sa, Kimi ni." will be two halves of the same anime (?), which will answer my question on how the two series would be able to fill out a 12/13-episode runtime on their own. It makes sense to split it up. Admittedly, it's odd to me to see the characters in color, I feel like if this had been animated in black and white then it wouldn't require an adjustment period, but it's not bad. It even looks good in some scenes.
