I nominate the Aru Majo ga Shinu Made ED. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVx61joVMbY I have to say that it varies season by season obviously, but in this instance, while there were some strong OPs, I definitely preferred the EDs of this season. There are no doubt OPs I've seen which I fancied and would place above certain EDs, but comparing the best of the best from each? The best EDs win out over the best OPs for me. Of course that's only judging based on the ones I've seen up to now. I don't usually watch or listen to OPs and EDs of series I haven't watched and this tournament ends up exposing me to more than I otherwise would have, either this soon or at all. But yeah, there are a few I definitely would and already have multiple times watched/listened to independently outside the context of watching the anime, and while I have at least one other ED I'd place up high (won't name it - it'd be nice to see nominated too by someone else), I don't think any song from this season can match the ethereal beauty of this one for me. Out of 16 new seasonal series from this season I'm watching/have watched, the actual show itself of Aru Majo ga Shinu Made would fall around the middle of my rankings and was nothing revolutionary, but it might have the single best OP & ED paired combo. |

| @WatchTillTandava yes, it really does depend on the season, and I totally get what you mean. This time around, the EDs had that extra emotional or artistic edge, and this season we have got many great EDs alongside the OPs. So, it’ll be fun to see which ones bring more surprises. Also, in this tournament, EDs are going to get more spotlight than in previous tournaments because of the separate bracket for each. From my pov, OPs generally have more effort and visual appeal to impress the audience at first sight compared to EDs, which is why EDs often get overshadowed, even by generic OPs. |

| I nominate Anne Shirley ED - "heart" by Laura day romance Took 10 weeks, but this tune has lodged itself in my brain. Simple and heartwarming, and fits the anime well. Gives me a similar feeling I get from the Ranma remake ED. So many good shows, OPs and EDs this season, voting process will be brutal for me. |
