 An original anime movie tentatively titled Ghost was announced by animation studio Madhouse on Monday, revealing the main staff and a visual (pictured). | @deg so far he's not officially credited, but he's been here for pretty much every Shingo Natsume/Madhouse anime so it's likely he'll be the animation producer too |

| @deg Frieren Season 2 should be completed by spring 2026 at the latest. If the movie releases in summer/fall 2027, that leaves over a year for full production—assuming pre-production is already underway. Also with NakameP possibly coming back to support Fukushi on Season 2, he may have more flexibility to fit this project in his schedule. |

| A Madhouse original anime with a script by the "Sonny Boy" creator and character designs based off of Natsume Ono's artstyle? I feel so catered to. Although I'm just now seeing that this is a movie, which I will still check out, but I'd admittedly look more forward to a multi-episode series... |
