| Battle shounen. There is nothing wrong with anime catering to teenager boys with trips of power fantasies, there is a high demand for that and that is fine but I pretty much just got irritated by them every time I watched them for some reason. Western super hero tropes do the same to me so it is not the problem with anime itself, I am just clearly not the target audience. |

| I dislike Dementia (Or Avant Garde now, i think) because of how weird and stupid they are. No offense to fans. Of real genre's, i'm gonna go with Mecha. Seeing giant robots fighting has never appealed to me and i'm kind of glad i didn't grow up in the 70's or 80's when it was the primary genre Shonen as well. Aside from the nostalgic ones like Yugioh, Pokemon, Naruto, etc., it's a genre i kinda just avoid. |

| IDGAF whatever category these are in, but I pretty much have watched and enjoyed at least one anime for each... but the fewest I've liked are from: [Female] Idols Mahou Shoujo Isekai An anime from any of these^ categories can make me scream "SHUT UP!!!" in about 3 seconds, and the squeaky, giggly, busty girls spinning around in frilly skirts and all the PINK makes me get nauseous. Yes that includes even in isekai. It's stupid. I'll pass. |

| It's not really a genre, but I'm bad with Gag Humor (and for similar reasons Parody and sometimes Ecchi) Not all Gag Humor is the same, but it quickly blurs the line between what's part of the story or the characters and what's just a joke without any consequences. It makes it hard to empathize and to immerse myself. I also dislike gags that are simply "hey, this person got hurt/is forced into an uncomfortable situation for no good reason" |

| Harem. No woman I've ever met acts like a harem female character. It's purely a caricatured fantasy for master debaters. Even worse when it takes over a previously female-only series by introducing the boring male equivalent of Poochie. |

I actually like Avant Garde to a certain degree but I feel like it's almost always overstaying its welcome in anime. A few years ago it would have been Sports, but then I watched 'Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru' and since then quite like it and have watched a bunch more such as Slam Dunk. |

Of course there are exceptions I'm sure, but it doesn't interest me much on average. Sports. I'm not someone who enjoys watching sports much, I find it pretty boring a lot of the time. Overall though, I try to be pretty open-minded and give different things a try. |

BL / GL are okay, I used to love GL and watch BL but I've cooled off on those, got really sick of the fandom forcing BL/GL ships in normal anime, like MHA fandom going hard on the BL ships. |

| Just a year ago, I would have said mecha shows. However, I've been watching a lot of Gundam recently and this shit hits hard. So, maybe isekai? Actually, probably gay/yaoi romance shows. Don't have any real interest in watching those kinds of shows. Or maybe horror. |

| Gourmet and Sports don't do much for me. Isekai has to have a real good story and characters and unfortunately 95% of them don't. And CGDCT get's very tiring soon. |
