 The official website for the Mukuwarenakatta Murabito A, Kizoku ni Hirowarete Dekiai sareru Ue ni, Jitsu wa Motteita Densetsu-kyuu no Kami Skill mo Kakusei shita (The Villager Who Was Abandoned, Was Picked Up by an Aristocrat and Awakened a Legendary Divine Skill) anime project announced the main cast on Monday. Cast Matteo: Maaya Uchida (Yakusoku no Neverland) Ishtar: Yuki Yomichi (Super Cub) Hecate: Sayako Toujou (Recorder to Randoseru Do♪) Metis: Mei Igarashi (0-saiji Start Dash Monogatari) Masahiko Komino (Gibiate) directs the anime at l-a-unch・BOX. Tsutomu Kaneko (Lamune) is handling the series composition and Junko Yamanaka (Aoharu x Kikanjuu) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Nazuna Miki's isekai fantasy light novel, which he began penning on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2020. Shueisha began publishing the series under its Dash X Bunko label in February 2021, featuring illustrations by Kaito Shibano (Ben-To). The seventh volume went on sale in May 2024. Suzume Kumo began drawing a manga adaptation on the Suiyoubi wa Mattari Dash X Comic web magazine in December 2022. Shueisha published the third volume on Monday. Source: Comic Natalie |

| I've seen this plot before, probably in 30-40 different iterations. I'm waiting for a new story with a 90-year-old who is on his deathbed, barely able to move around, who discovers his super legendary divine skill to avenge his grandson, who was hit by a medieval truck (also known as a horse-drawn carriage) [and, as a consequence, the grandson himself has been sent to modern earth to live his life over as an unhappy, overworked salaryman] that the local evil lord/king/god was riding on. A good title for this kind of media would be something along the lines of I Am the 90-Year-Old Elder That Avenged My Grandson, Who Was Hit by the King's Horse-Drawn Carriage, With My Secret and Newly Awakened Skill, and My Grandson Reincarnated Into Another World as an Unhappy Salaryman That Works 200 Hours Per Week. You know, something that really grabs the reader's attention. |
