Often, Ending Theme Songs are not given the proper praise, and AoT has some stunning blasters.

Shogeki by Yuko Ando. And it's not close. It's also the ending during the best season of the entire story. I enjoyed how it would start playing during cliffhangers or big moments at the end of episodes.

No song has a more beautiful melody than Akuma no ko nor has the same phenomenal lyrics: “The world may be cruel but I’ll still love you. Even if it means sacrificing everything, I’ll protect you.”

Oh, you added "under the tree", I just love it, I don't know how SiM did it, but this, and "the rumbling" somehow made AoT better imo, if it weren't for that, I think I would have chosen "Akuma no ko"

Akuma No Ko is an instant classic. Orchestra arrengements are beautiful, and Ai Higuchi voice is desperate character looking for hope. Great song, indeed.

Same with FMA: Brotherhood. While not within my own biases of music, some of their progressions go way too hard.
