I didn't really think about it much at first but it was a pretty important part of the latest episode (4) where

I assume the couple first points come from your family and because he lost his parents, it became 0.

It also seems a bit off that 1 single trust point made him a hero

I think it's the number of people who trust the
hero along with how much they truly trust said hero
essentially, I believe that 100 random people trusting one hero is equivalent to a person who trusts said hero in a life or death situation
so essentially trust is based on the number of people and how much they trust them
what lead me to this thought process on trust value is in 2 life or death situations people with 0 trust value were able to reach hero lvl strength off of a single person's trust first firm man in ep 3 and now the young esoul
then again, this is only my theory bc trust value has been explicitly explained or dived into enough for me to make any more inference

@pelik_luv_anime No, it worked that way in previous episodes as well. The amount of trust + the depth of that trust both matter.

Firm Man was able to bear a concrete pillar because a little girl trusted him. Lin Ling gained power immediately after that 1 girl started to believe in him as well.

Quality over quantity maybe
the kid believes in Yang Cheng so much
can see this with the case about X too in X's trailer, it seems like not everyone "believes" in X's power and non-believers questioning to the firm believers why X can got so much power.

Dota 2 Esports Stories are a fuckin Anime IRL Anime Sports

I believe that what the kid thought he e soul could do. Pomelo thought he we E soul so he was e soul, if he thought he was just a fast runner with electricity powers it would be much weaker

In my opinion, it's about how much trust you earn as a hero—essentially, how many people truly believe they are a hero.

From what I understand it’s the number of people who genuinely “like you” not necessarily “trust” you. Than the powers the hero gets depend on the hero and what he wants or fits his personality or ideals but the abilities of the powers can be altered/changed depending on what your followers want you to be or become & why the newest character (forgot his name) gain powers is bc the boy he was trying to save in that moment really wanted him to be a hero and save him so he got the power necessary to do that. Lastly, the strength of the powers depends on how much your followers love you “trust you”.

This is not put together well but I hope whoever reads this can understand it thank you

It's ki energy, your social credit, your existential value to those around your, whatever. A clever use of a core concept on eastern philosophies but it's self-constraining to a degree. Like why the hell do villains have powers if everyone hates them? They don't explain that
