When you were a kid and yoru parents got your first VCR or DVD player and you had just a small selection of movies to watch, assuming you grew up like me.

What movie did you watch over and over?

For Me, Goldfinger. It was pretty much the only dvd we had
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

I saw The Lion King in a theater when it came out in 1994, then rewatched it at home so many times I memorized the entire thing and would walk around reciting it.

However, Jurassic Park (which I also saw in a theater when it came out in 1993) has always been my favorite film.

That's another one of my faves from my childhood. I even bought the soundtrack CD.

Kiki's Delivery Service. They occasionally showed it on Canadian television. Still is one of my favorite pieces of media. Can't help but give it a 10.

The Dagger of Kamui, or the dub version of it, namely Revenge of the Ninja Warrior.

After that, it was VHS recordings of Nickelodeon, Lion King, and Toy Story, but I know that if I still had Dagger of Kamui, as well as those VHS tapes of Tenchi Muyo!, The Land Before Time, and Beauty and the Beast, I would have watched those to bits too.

Oh it's hilarious. The movie opens with the main brothers helping carry their dead father's casket and they drop it and his body goes flying, does a flip and then falls down a manhole into the sewer. Such a fun slapstick movie

Definitely Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart. I still watch this once every 2 years. I'm an admirer of pre-bubble collapse era (curse you, Ronald Reagan) Japan, after all.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The 2000 one with Jim Carrey. Kind of funny that it predicted the popularity of Frozen and Wicked due to sharing similar plot themes.

What made it special to me was that we were discussing fractured fairy tales in writing class soon before this movie came out and our school paper ran an entire character quiz about it. Making the Grinch a misunderstood misanthropic loner and having the Whos cry at first, only to realize they didn't actually need presents, is almost precisely how I would have adapted the Dr. Seuss story even back then.

Probably Godzilla '54.
I first saw it around 1998 when Godzilla 1998 was about to release.
I remember taping it and brought it with my when I stayed over at my uncle's and I watched it every night that I was there before bed. And I've also since bought it again on DVD and it's one I watch the most out of the rest, I just never get tired of it.

Other contenders maybe are Home Alone 3, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Land That Time Forgot '75 and Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla '74

Lilo and stitch is such a great movie and I don’t even care about Disney films that much. The animation, the humor, the emotional and realistic character dynamics and struggles, it’s a fantastic film and I see why my dad is obsessed with it (even if it does get chaotic at times)

I think for me it'd be White Chicks. First saw that movie when I was in the single digits and I still have fond memories of it, I was never a huge movie guy but I know I rewatched that one a lot over the years... maybe I should rewatch it again sometime soon, it's been a while.

When I was in kindergarten, I had my Holy Trinity of Disney movies I was watching over and over. We had Pinocchio, Lady and the Tramp and Cinderella on VHS tapes (yes, I'm that old) and only Pinocchio was whole (the other two would cut before the end since there wasn't enough tape when we were recording them, lol).

Another movie I've seen countless times as a kid (and not just as a kid) was Space Jam.

I respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

Definitely a Disney movie, I was a big Hercules and Tarzan fan. My parents had VHS tapes and DVDs, but I only have memories of watching the DVDs.
