 The official website of the Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso! (Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!) television anime revealed additional cast, staff, the main visual (pictured), first promotional video, and opening theme on Sunday. Jouji Shimura (Dungeon no Naka no Hito episode director) is helming the anime at OLM Team Yoshioka. Deko Akao (Kimi wa Meido-sama.) is handling the series composition and Aoi Yamato (Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to) is designing the characters. Masato Kouda (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi) is composing the music. Kimikawa penned the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from October 2018 to September 2020. Overlap began printing the series in June 2019, featuring illustrations by Gaou (Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu). The third volume went on sale in June 2020. Tsumumi began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Gardo website in September 2019. Overlap published the ninth volume on March 25. Tentai Books licensed the light novel in English in May 2020 and released the second volume in January 2023. Kaiten Books licensed the manga adaptation in English in December 2020 and released the third volume physically in September 2024.
