EDIT:

Netflix Anime twitter has posted that Yaiba is coming in Netflix without any region mention which means they also have aquired licence for Asia & Europe

@Pequod_LZ Honestly I don't really like them either, but it's pretty safe to say they are at least more invested into licensing anime in NA so we can watch it. While Netflix has kept removing stuff all the time and keeps raising prices like no tomorrow. At the very least crunchyroll is a little bit more affordable and has a much better and much more reliable anime library.

Personally I'm in the boat of someone who doesn't have Netflix because their pricing has gone insane and most of the stuff I liked on there even 10 years ago is gone. For the subscription prices I might as well just purchase Yaiba on blu-ray later cause it's probably not much more than a single month of netflix without ads.

So for most I guess it's just more about their service being generally better than Netflix price and library wise for those who watch anime in NA.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.

@Pequod_LZ Crunchyroll might be terrible but they are still the best anime streaming option around

@ajw215799 Bro know that its is not Netflix's fault how 7DS got bad it was Aniplex who wanted the Fate money so they directed A-1 to ditch 7DS and work on Fate and Aniplex also left the production comitee. After that it was Kodansha's failure to give it to some good studio.
And now the Four Knights of the Apocalypse series is apparently good after being picked up by Unlimited Produce by TMS & Telecom Animation.

And I am not saying that Netflix is good either their, release of Pluto & JoJo Stone ocean was horrible, now they are apparently looking into AI Subs which if they do will be horrible.

@Temperanced I know Netflix had nothing to do with the quality of 7DS, I was referring to how they kept holding it as a binge only release even after Netflix proved they could do simulcasts (they quietly cancelled the simulcast of Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 2 days before to opt for a binge release)

Yes this is the worst thing, why can't they just release it weekly. And also the delayed episode problem like in Sakamoto Days & Blue Box is also frustrating.

@Temperanced No, with Sakamoto Days and Blue Box they didn’t delay episodes, it’s just that when Netflix acquired the rights, they negotiated deals to stream episodes a week early exclusively in Japan.

@ajw215799 Oh okay, but it was hard for me to wait 1 week extra when you know that a new EP has been released, lol
