 The official X (formely Twitter) account of the Ballpark de Tsukamaete! (The Catcher in the Ballpark!) television anime unveiled additional cast members on Thursday. The anime series adapting Tatsurou Suga's sports comedy manga will air on April 2 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo and AT-X, followed by BS NTV.Cast Wataru Ichinomiya: Daiki Yamashita (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) Ken Nokogiriyama: Jun Fukuyama (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu) Kazuma Shishio: Chiaki Kobayashi (Sousou no Frieren) Junichi Kitamura (Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu.) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi (Dark Gathering) is handling the series composition. Fumio Iida (Basquash!) is designing the characters and MONACA (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) is composing the music. Suga began serializing the sports comedy manga in Morning magazine in September 2020. The 15th volume went on sale on November 21 last year, with the 16th volume set to be released on March 21.
