It's been almost three years since Non Non Biyori: Remember ended and now Atto is back as the original story writer and character designer for a brand new TV anime series.

This is going to be great for fans of the tapir!

If the author is the same, it will be interesting whether there will be some kind of connection between these works.

NNB is easily in my top 5 CGDCT anime. It's so good to see people behind it returning.

To be honest I'm kinda disappointed that the author is chasing the cooking/eating trend that became popular a couple of years ago. There's only so many times that you can watch someone eat something and talk about how tasty it is before you start to zone out.

I recall starting to lose interest in Yuru Camp season 3 during the cooking/eating scenes. It was really overdone compared to the first season.

@CommanderZx2
Manga centered about cooking and eating have been extremely popular since the 70s and anime productions based on those works were also popular from the 80s onwards.

This isn't trend chasing, it's just following loved formulas.

@CommanderZx2 I actually keep forgetting this is a "cooking show" because it's not really focused on that much. Just feels like a series about college girls hanging out, which seems a little unique just for taking in college. I dig it.
