Cat Shit One [Watch date: 4/1/2025; rating: 6]
　Mini Review: Probably something that happened in the Afgan/Irak War, minus the animals that is. Visually it is rather good for the time though, considering it was entirely made in computer graphics. However, other than that, there's not much to note, considering it's just 21 minutes of an FPS game but in anime format.
Mai Mai Shinko to Sennen no Mahou [Watch date: 10/1/2025; rating: 8]
　Mini Review: It is very sweet to see a friendship formed by two girls. I loved the group dynamics between the kids. I found it super cute of Shinko to help a friend take revenge against the ones that cost him his father.
Misaki no Mayoiga [Watch date: 11/1/2025; rating: 8]
　Mini Review: Not much happens in the first 2/3rds of the film, but it sets up a nice atmosphere and explains the mythology behind the region well. My only gripe with it is that while we are told what happened to both Yui and Hiyori before coming to "Mayoiga", it feels a little out of the blue how they get there. It's like suddenly they spawn into being, and Kiwa suddenly adopts them as her granddaughters despite it being the first time she's seen the girls. Other than that, I liked the film for what it was.
Momoko, Kaeru no Uta ga Kikoeru yo. [Watch date: 11/1/2024; rating: 9]
　Mini Review: How does society view and treat those with disabilities? How do you as a person close to someone with a disability treat and view them? I loved that both of these aspects were addressed in the film. The dynamics between the twins were very touching to see. Also, these parents are actually very good, supportive parents. Nice to see that there are parents out there like that.

Hashiri Tsuzukete Yokatta tte. [Watch date: 9/1/2025; rating: 7]
　Mini Review: Nothing much to say, honestly. The MMC is bland and not likeable considering he's so full of himself even though he's only had 4 months of voice actor training. The FMC is also bland but more likeable since she tries to improve despite being scared. Other than that, the voice acting stood out to me as pretty bad but I guess I looked harshly on it considering it is an anime about voice acting.

　Mini Review: Uhhh. I don't know what to think of this. Ecchi for the sake of ecchi, I guess. Plus a horny dog... I'm glad it's over. Nothing more to say.

　Mini Review: I liked the TV series, but I don't have as much attachment to the characters anymore. It's also been a while since I saw it. However, the songs themselves are pretty catchy if you like the Vocaloid style, which I do. Maybe watch the TV series first though.

　Mini Review: As hilarious as the first two seasons. The antics of the boys get up to get more ridiculous by the episode. However, the genuine friendships are a really nice touch. Shi Miao is my spirit animal though.
Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! 4 [Watch date: 12/1/2025; rating: 8]
　Mini Review: Yep, still hilarious. The lengths Wan Sui goes through to keep his wealth hidden is funny af. Also, Le You being so deadpan but doing those extraordinary things is strangely cool to see. Not that much of Shi Miao in this season sadly.

　Mini Review: I'm not usually one for Space or Mecha anime, but this was fun. Vaiya was a little annoying though. The colonel got what he had coming. I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel.

Look Back [Watch date: 4/1/2025; rating: 8]
　Mini Review: Why do we create? What do we create? And who do we create for? Look Back explores artists and the multiple reasons they create, as well as their struggles and winnings. It is also a reflection on our choices and regrets. Poignantly told, using multiple silent scenes, the film creates a thoughtful experience that makes us question the abovementioned questions. I really liked the use of rotoscoping to create depth and emotional closeness to the viewer. Nothing is exaggerated, not even sadness and regret at the end of the film.

Zashiki Warashi no Tatami-chan
　Mini Review: What the hell did I see??? And why is this tagged with horror??? I am honestly unsure of what purpose does this anime have? Did they want to show how awful place Tokyo is? Because then they reached their goal. The biggest problem wasnt even the lack of animation, but the bunch of disturbing scenes. Like where the old hag monster dragged an unwilling man to a love hotel. The many many curses and the annoying, childish trash mc just make it worse. The only reason this doesn't get a 1 because I have seen even worse anime. 3/10
Pokemon Movie 02: Maboroshi no Pokemon Lugia Bakutan
　Mini Review: This Pokemon movie wasn't bad, but it kinda felt too rushed. A few scenes was quite cringey and the plit was too obvious and cliche. The animation felt sometimes out of place, mostly when they showed they flying ship. Lugia and the other legendaries were cool though. The villain didn't get any real compilation, what seemed bad, like noone even questioned him. Even though this movie has many faults, I still enjoyed it. XD 7/10
Towa no Quon 1: Utakata no Kaben
　Mini Review: Okay, this was a really in medias res anime, I started it and was like... what the hell is happening? In the end I got quite a good picture of what kind of world is this, but there are still many big mysteries. I liked the main character, and the side female companion was funny and annoying at the same time. The animation was quite good, and as I see there are 5 more 50 mins movies. That's exactly like a 12 eps anime, I wonder why they divided it like this. Well, I enjoyed it, so I am waiting for the chance to watch the sequels. ^^ 8/10
Litchi DE Hikari Club
　Mini Review: I assume that the purpose of this anime was to promote the manga, because otherwise I see nothing in it. The characters looked the same, for half of the show I had no idea who is talking, the subtitle was annoying as sometimes it appeared on the bottom, while sometimes on the top. I didn't like anything in it, the animation didn't exist and the entire show was mehhh. I don't even know why does this have the romance and the horror tag, I saw nothing like that in it. It definitely didn't make me to want to read the manga. I have seen worse though, so... 3/10

　Mini Review: Was this some kind of promotional video? The anime definitely miss the reverse harem and the erotica tags, man there are bare b__bies and s_x scenes in it. The plot was a mess, everything was a mess. It had all the stereotypical trashy male personalities. The only good thing about this was that the Black Rabbit was hot. XD 4/10
Tayo-ui Jangnangam Adventure
　Mini Review: Well, I cant say too much about this 16 mins special. This is definitely for kids, though they wouldnt lose anything if they miss this. The story was so random, the toy that lost his owner was annoying. Of course Tayo and his friends helped, and it was obvious since the beginning that who is the person they are looking for. The animation was like always, but it didnt make me feel anything. Well, one less Tayo entries for me to watch. XD It wasnt bad, its just definitely not something I will like too much. 5/10
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season: Kanwa - Diablo Nikki
　Mini Review: Well, this was not the best special that summarized what happened during a season, but I definitely have seen worse. It made me want to continue Tensura, but I have so many other things to watch that I am not sure when will I be able to watch the sequels. I like the characters, Veldora and Diablo are both funny and insane at the same time. XD The summary was a mess, I enjoyed the previous ones more. 6/10
Yuru Camp△ Season 3 Specials
　Mini Review: Well, this was a really short, 3 eps special, but it was cute and relaxing. The first episode definitely made me want to eat chicken. XD Solo camping seems possible in Japan but I wouldn't even dare to think of it in my country. I really love the voice of the narrator and ohh, episode 2 has such a good scenery in it. I loved Rin's clothes in episode 3, and finally the two main characters were together. The scenery was the most beautiful in the last ep, and maaaan, I wanna eat that dessert too. :D 8/10

Ao no 6-gou
　Mini Review: This was not exactly what I thought I will watch, but had a very interesting concept. I wonder why was the post-apocalyptic theme so popular in the 90s. I liked the plot and what it wanted to teach us. The animation was pretty weird for the 90s I think, but it was fitting to the story. I easily binged this 2hour, the only thing I didnt like is the ending. Seems too rushed and uncompleted. I liked the cutiepie girly entity. 7/10
Psycho Diver: Mashou Bosatsu
　Mini Review: I really dont like horror and gore so I didnt really want to watch this but those scenes werent too bad. Somehow this anime just doesnt make me feel anything, nothing really good, nothing really bad. The story was rushed, the wordbuilding kinda non-existent. I wonder what this psycho diving really had to do in their everyday life. It was kinda ok, can be watched once. It's slightly better than a 5 but doesnt reach 6 so... 5/10
Megami Kyouju
　Mini Review: Okay, this was definitely not the worst hentai I have ever seen. It's remarkable that it has a real story, that could have been interesting if they dont rush it. There were a few parts that was wtf moment, like what the Colonel did, and I didnt really like how the big guy bangbanged the 2 girls, but well, it was okay I think. Definitely among the better hentais. I just dont understand what happened to the transformed guys, did they get back or was they killed? Well... it was watchable once, so... 5/10
Wonderful Days
　Mini Review: This was an interesting and at the same time weird movie. The world-building didn't feel right, or more like there weren't enough. The ending was rushed and I didn't really like how it got finished. The animation was ok, the basic concept was good. This could have been an 8 if they just give it 20 more mins to the runtime. I didn't really like the female lead, and the kid was soooo annoying. I kinda liked the idea tho, so... 7/10

Vampire in the Garden
　Mini Review: This was such a beautiful anime. I loved the story and the anmiation too. The two main characters are pretty likable and I loved their dynamic too. I hoped the vampire was a guy, so I kinda feel like its missing the GL tag, especially because of the past. The mother and uncle was annoying as hell, though at least the uncle had a reason. It's definitely very emotional and I really really hoped for the best, but the ending was a little disappointing. So far I enjoyed this one the most, I am glad I had this as one of my choice. 9/10
Yuru Camp△ Season 3
　Mini Review: Well, I really enjoyed this show just like the previous seasons, and the new art style wasn't bad, but I still miss the original one. The girls are really cute and it's really relaxing to watch them camping, I feel like going camping too. XD Somehow I felt like the pace wasn't that good though, it was lagging a little. Still, the scenery was really beautiful and I just love the interactions between the characters, so it was a fun time watching it. 9/10
Dr. Stone: New World Part 2
　Mini Review: I felt like its time to catch up to the series as the new season will air soon, and it didn't disappoint me. I really love this series, and I really ship a few characters. XD The story was interesting and I'm glad that we finally got to know more about the petrification tool. It's funny that I don't even remember who Hyouga was. XD And I wonder what happened to him and the other strong people in the end as the anime didn't show it at all. The villain was a bastaaaard, I really didn't like him, Tsukasa as the villain was perfect. 9/10
Spy x Family Season 2
　Mini Review: I loved the anime but felt like it's missing something compared to the previous ones. Most of the time was about Yor, it would have been cool to see more of Loid's work and Anya's school time. The animation was good and Anya was cute too, I really loved Yor's expressions while fighting. There were a few funny misunderstandings in it and maaaan, Anya is really hilarious, though I just can't not think of that Anya means mom in my language. XD Good anime, I am glad I finally caught up with it. 8/10

Mask Danshi wa Koishitakunai noni
　Mini Review: The pacing of this show is off, I thought they were going for cute buildup but immediately fell into sexual extorsion which of course turned reciprocated. The characters had no real romantic chemistry and I didn't like the gimmick with the mask. The reason he wears it and how much it affected him also didn't land for me. I quite liked the art and resolution though. 5/10
Boku no Hero Academia: UA Heroes Battle
　Mini Review: It was rather boring with no purpose other than to show some character moments. The eyes of the "game card" characters were creepy and did not add anything. This did not need to exist and doesn't add anything to the franchise.
Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. Movie: Spain-hen
　Mini Review: It’s unfortunate that the animation budget didn’t allow for more fluid dancing sequences, though I appreciated how dance was used to express the main character's emotions. However, some typical BL and romance tropes were a bit frustrating. Also, the scene where the children comment on how 'hot' the grandpa danced felt odd and out of place. An okay watch.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Chronicle
　Mini Review: The summary hit all the important points without feeling too rushed, which is pretty impressive for four seasons in one movie. It's still just is a summary. A good way to remember before I watch the final final final season. The part where Levi chooses who to save dragged on a bit. They still tried to play it for an emotional moment, but knowing the answer and the pace suddenly slowing down made it not hit that. The music was very well done.

Blue Remains
　Mini Review: So ugly and the MC's voice acting is horrendous. There already was a time skip, i wish they would have aged her up more. She could have sounded less like a child and been less frustrating bumbling around. The plot was pretty generic but fine. Theres just no flow in the movie. Everyone seems to monologue instead of have a conversation. It felt like they were padding the movie but there is so much unexplained. Who were her parents? Why were they the ones to save the world?
Ace wo Nerae! (1979)
　Mini Review: I didn't like the conflict of her being put on the team before she was ready. I kind of felt for the rival that was more capable but for some reason not being chosen, unfairness for no motive just feels frustrating. For its age the anime looked very good.
Yoshimaho
　Mini Review: I liked some of the voice actors but some episodes were... creepy. The sound editing was weird, the sound seemed to come from one side or switch. Not really for me but less weird than I was anticipating.
Go! Go! Ackman
　Mini Review: I actually quite enjoyed the start. The over the top violence and the angel suddenly pulling out a gun were entertaining as I was expecting something for children from the poster. The sudden dark humor got to me even though I'm generally not into slapstick. The part with the stripper was not for me. Pretty crude but enjoyed somewhat.

Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?
　Mini Review: The firework "plot" was pretty thin, but that can work with some good characters. That was not something that was accomplished however. I don't like drama through misunderstandings or general Coming of Age stories. Him blaming himself for not winning the race instead of her just asking out the person who she likes more was such a frustrating way to create drama. None of the characters are likeable or even really characters. The animation was good, all that I left with this movie.
Mashle: Mash Burnedead to Fushigi na Tegami
　Mini Review: This series does not need a recap. Maybe for some reminders of chara introductions. A lot of the runtime is stuff that does not seem important to remember for a next season. Its basically a run down of every single interaction in the series. They try to play the jokes as jokes but in this format without buildup that doesn't work.
Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi
　Mini Review: I appreciate that we wasted no time at all getting into it. His previous life is an afterthought, which is better than half-investing in it while it isn't actually relevant. Him getting handed stuff because of the gimmick of the OP familiar is fine, but some of it just feels like too much, like finding the mythril lizard. It's very cozy with no substance, I enjoyed.
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! 2nd Season
　Mini Review: I switched to the dub for the second season and that was a bad choice, the MC doesn't find the same edgy voice and some translated names are not great. It takes itself too seriously. I get that the point is that everyone does except for the MC, but especially the first half we don't see him much and the show is just not that interesting.

Be-Boy Kidnapp'n Idol
　Mini Review: The anime has a pretty inconsistent tone with the lighthearted idol stuff with some interpersonal drama and then the creep trying to kidnap him. I thought the main characters were pretty good together, but a shame that we needed some SA in there.
Tamayura: Hitotose
　Mini Review: The appeal of CGDCT and Slice of Life are lost on me. The loss of a parent must be so incredibly difficult but I do not know this character or her father and could not get myself to care. Photography also does not speak to me, I already barely remember any of the charactars and I was just so bored.
Tamayura: Hitotose - Attakai Kaze no Omoide, nanode
　Mini Review: I felt more connected to her connection to her dad here. Maybe the problem I have with the show is that it's quite focused on stepping in someones footsteps. This episode is more focused on how they would interact and his vision, which to me feels more personal. I still didn't enjoy the hijinks of characters that I just don't find interesting, but best episode so far.
Tamayura: More Aggressive - Ichinichi dake no Shuugakuryokou, nanode
　Mini Review: I greatly enjoy some "muted" anime, but the moment it is matched with SoL/CGDCT it just feels so flat without aspects to still get invested in where the muted tone adds to the experience. This episode was just back to boring.

Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?
　Mini Review: Well, I was expecting a CGDCT and instead, it's an LSD trip lol
The train stops, the characters, and the events, are one more crazy than the other and it leaves you wanting to see what there'll be next.
I didn't particularly appreciate any of the girls, all were quite anonymous. Still, their relationship is very emotional and I cried more than once. The villain is a tiny and detestable character. Still, precisely because of this, I like him as a villain. His motivations are so stupid and selfish that they make it feel real.
Also, the landscapes and cities are a joy to behold, the 7G effects are always unpredictable and fun to watch. The animations and some directing moments are also at a good level.
Among other things, the opening is beautiful, as is the entire soundtrack. Some songs stuck in my head and were almost always used in a good way.

　Mini Review: The story of two people looking for a place that belongs to them, where they can feel not only at home, but that can accept them. A story that talks about racism, prejudice, hatred, and war in a fairly didactic way, but that never gets lost. It does its job very well and honestly, I really liked the story, including an ending that is even happier than the one I had imagined.

Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu
　Mini Review: This was a good anime, with a solid story, that moved and surprised me. I loved the characters, especially Irina, although some had a sudden change of mind that seemed out of place. But I liked the atmosphere the most: I think it nailed the heavy dictatorship feel, where you can't say some things and don't know what they'll do to you in the future. And that's the reason why I didn't like the last episode at all! I won't go into details, but it broke the tension, it was anticlimactic.
Lastly, the second third had many ugly scenes, with distorted designs and almost non-existent animations. It's a shame.
But I was very into the BGMs! They were a perfect fit!
Boukyaku Battery
　Mini Review: I loved the TV Series, but the first two episodes were very difficult to watch, so this ONA that adapts the same part of the story of those two eps, couldn't be better.
And yes, it's very rough. The story is rushed and... it's not so good to begin with, so it's almost bad. The animations are very basic, there's no good shot or scene, and the character design made me reconsider the ones from the TV Series that I didn't like. Yes, they're better.
If I had watched this one or two years ago, I would have hated it. But now that I have connected with the characters, it isn't so bad.

Mignon
　Mini Review: I love BLs who know what consent is! Aside from that, Mignon is a good anime and a good Romance, with an intense storyline - even if sometimes predictable - that makes you feel like the protagonists are real people, with real struggles... even though one of them is a vampire. It's just that their feelings feel so strong!
Also, it was visually gorgeous. I loved the backgrounds and soft colors. The animations had slightly fewer frames than I liked, which wasn't enough to discourage me from enjoying it.
Tadaima, Okaeri
　Mini Review: I didn't expect it to be so damn cute! I had heard about it as a series full of drama and, even though there is drama, it's the kind that I like and it's hard to find: the ones that make you cry with happiness. And the cuteness. If cuteness is justice, then Hikari is justice.
Also, Masaki and Hiromu are adorable. They are a perfect couple who have already been through hell. Now, they are not only happy together but also real partners in life. They support each other, love each other, and trust each other. They are also cute!
Geu Yeoreum Movie
　Mini Review: The movie is not bad. The problem is when you watch a Romance and end up hating the MC and spending half the time thinking, "Please, break up."
A badly matched couple, with one who doesn't speak and the other who wants something else altogether and they are together probably out of habit. This is a realistic thing, especially if we are talking about first love, that's why I say it's a well-made movie! Appreciating it or not, is another matter.

　Mini Review: I think this would have been better as part of the first season than a Special for the only reason that I don't remember the TV series as much as a year ago, so I was a little confused lol
I appreciate that it gives explanations for some of the actions of the Emperor. My only problem is that, while Miyo seems to have matured, she continues to forgive everyone that made her life a nightmare in one way or another. Seeing the cousin at the end was the last straw for me. Also, hearing a mother say to her son "I love you as much as I love my future sister-in-law that I met months ago" is mindblowing. I found the kid annoying in the first few minutes, but now I understand his feelings...
I really wanted to like Kiyoka and Miyo interactions, and Kiyoka in general is always a pleasure to behold, but everything else continued to grate my nerves.

Taifuu no Noruda [♥]
　Mini Review: [2] I will not lie, when the anime started with an shot of a girl in a classroom butt naked all the hopes I had for it evaporated instantly.
The only thing approaching good in this anime is the animation itself - everything else is just. Painfully inept. The voice acting performances are simply terrible as they are done by people who have never acted in anything before or since and it shows (the FL has to make A LOT of pained grunts and moans and screams but her seiyuu is a 13 year old. why.); There's wayy too many magic crap happening for the short runtime to be able to explain it all, and finally, the emotional core and the message just don't? Work? At all? The idea behind the story is a typical "extraordinary and large-scale events that are happening are a dramatization of the internal turmoil that the character is having" but it doesn't really work because 1) there's not enough time for that to begin with and then a chunk of it is spent on Noruda being naked for no reason or Unexplained Magic Crap (tm); and 2) the typhoon and Noruda are such a poor analogy for what's going on with Azuma that the fact that there is an analogy drawn between those two to begin with is kind of laughable. It's just. Nothing works.
At least the animation looks nice
Yamatarou Kaeru [♥]
　Mini Review: [6] I have too big of a soft spot for older anime and children's anime to hate on this. The animation is charmingly simple but acquires a surprising amount of detail when it comes to the steam locomotive (which looks fantastic btw), the story is simple but nicely told and I do really like that the conclusion is a bittersweet one. I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone watch this - it's pretty dated and doesn't have much substance - but for what it is it's a cute story, I can't be mad at it. Also, more anime should have steam locomotives in general, but steam locomotives that can talk especially.
Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka? [♥]
　Mini Review: [3] Within the first four minutes I had to put the movie on pause. "This looks suspiciously like the Monogatari series art style, doesn't it?" I thought. Upon checking that indeed, the director of this movie also directed every Monogatari anime, a sense of dread settled deeply within me and did not leave for the next 1.5 hours i spent with this movie. Aside from my general problems with the art style (I just think it looks ugly, sorry), this story is just full of corny, porny comedy I wish was left in 2002 where it belongs. I can take a few jokes or suggestive angles, but when there are so many of them I just wish a series just tagged itself ecchi and didn't waste my time. I didn't enjoy the story either, for largely the same reasons I dropped Bunny Girl Senpai and don't even try with the Monogatari shows - it comes across as "fake deep" to me, I don't know what exactly the problem is but all attempts these shows make at creating moments of introspection just fall flat for me. Maybe it's the delivery, maybe it's the porniness, but this movie exhausted me quickly and was an annoying watch most of the way through. I do disagree with people deriding Fireworks for being incoherent though - it was reasonably told, just not very likeable.
Early Reins [♥]
　Mini Review: [7] An OVA about an all-female cast brandishing weapons and killing bandits?? The ojou-sama character uses a GATLING GUN?? Say no more, I'm so on board! For a 40 minute long standalone action OVA this honestly does everything it needs to do, and docking points for lacking characterization just feels wrong. It's about cool girls killing people, it's not that deep /j I will say that I wish the main character had more of a presence, because as the OVA is Lola feels like much more of a protagonist than Margaret, and also that the groping scene in the very beginning was very uncecessary, but all in all this is a fun action romp I don't at all regret watching.

Mignon [♥]
　Mini Review: [6] The backgrounds and environments were gorgeous and the ost is amazing, but idk about the character designs - just like a lot of manhwas, this anime suffers from the usual korean "dead eyes and huge lips" syndrome that makes all characters look like fish. It made the frequent still close-ups feel super awkward and very funny, which is definitely not what the show was going for. The doctor has the standard BL "cold man with a stone face" character, which is to say no character at all, so the romance was a hard sell for me (Mignon himself's a cutie though). Overall, this is an anime with a lof of style, but not much substance.
Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi [♥]
　Mini Review: [8] I've waited two years absolutely convinced I would love it, and love it I did! I love tragic/angsty/just a little bit sad romances, and the theme of dealing with loss is always a hit in zhabnica land, and this show executed both quite well. The only gripe I have with the movie is... the seiyuus. The male lead's seiyuu can NOT make "heavy breathing while running" sounds for the life of him, it's was so bad it made me laugh during very dramatic scenes, and the FL is pretty bad at crying. Makes sense, considering they're both rookie seiyuus, but it's a shame it takes me out of the performance. The animation is beautiful, though, and the story is very much my thing, so i can't be too mad.
Umi no Uta [♥]
　Mini Review: [0] (but that's not possible so a 1) So i started a shiritori challenge not long before Lazy Santa began, right. And so I thought it'd be fun to try and make a shiritori chain out of all 16 anime i'm going to watch, right. And then I realize that the Japanese really love ending titles with the verb, and they love it when the verb ends in "u" even more, right. So I start running out of "u" titles. And I see Umi no Uta. And I think, well, sure, this has 150 members on MAL, but I don't mind an occasional art movie, and the cover looks gorgeous, so this will probably be a fun watch. And then I see no VAs listed. And i see that it has ironic cult following on the AWCC discord. And I realize that I've just committed to watching something deeply, deeply terrible.
I don't think I'm capable of describing what watching this feels like. Why must the screen flash constantly for no reason. Why is this movie called Sound of the Sea when basically no sea sounds play. At first I thought the art is gorgeous but completely obstructed by the stupid flashing, but it soon became clear that it's just real life pictures edited into B&W grain and it's terrible and I hate it. On the ninth minute i was ready to give the shiritori chain up and watch literally anything else. The note i wrote when I was one third into the movie is "I'm typing this out as I go and on minute ten mice sounds and reversed audio of people talking starts to play as the camera keeps zooming repeatedly onto the same stain on the wall over. And over. And over again. Please end my suffering"
Arthouse movies were a mistake.
Antique Heart [♥]
　Mini Review: [5] In my unyielding determination to watch this show by any means necessary I went through 7 circles of hell, 7 russian social medias full of pirated content, the barren and peerless 7 seas, and still the only things i could find is a broken link to a website about days in motion idk and a DUB of this ova performed by one singular unenthused Russian man. I cried, I begged for another option, and yet I had to settle for the Russian man. I did my best to not let this detract from my enjoyment but the battle was uphill. (He stutters, has little emotion in his voice and also messed the numeral declension & the stress up a few times. Help)
Overall this was. Alright? Both the characters and the story are just kind of so-so, not really developed and not really interesting, although I think the set-up is pretty cool and would be worth exploring over the course of at least three episodes instead of just one. This was definitely not worth all the hoops I had to jump through to watch it, but the animation has that sweet 80s flavor to it, the ending song is nice and honestly, Umi no Uta having a rating that's 0.06 points higher is a travesty and I wish I could help fix it, but this really isn't something I could give more than a 5 to :(

Chihayafuru [♥]
　Mini Review: [9] As a person who avoids sports anime as a rule and is infamous among my friends for hating Run with the Wind, i did not expect to like this one. But just this once, I figured I can give one of the most acclaimed joseis a shot, sports anime or not. Words can not describe the degree to which i was blown away by this. I inhaled a 25 ep show in four days and spent most of the time I wasn't watching Chihayafuru wishing I was watching it. Absolutely stellar character writing, three amazing leads, and so much flavor! I would've never thought I'd get this invested into a card game where the main point is to sit still and listen to a grandma read some poems with a voice more fit for leading a funeral march. Also, as an aside, in the beginning I had the same thoughts as I did when watching Furuba ("aww, ofc I like the quiet and reserved 2ML over the tsundere endgame ML :/"), and Taichi won me over even faster than Kyo did! Yay! Although Arata is still the prince of my heart for now~
Tengoku Daimakyou [♥]
　Mini Review: [9] Ooh, this is about as hard to review as Made in Abyss for me... Makes perfect sense, considering it's the second most recommended show for this title lol. I guess the easiest way for me to go about this will be to compare this to MiA directly. While the vibes are definitely similar, TD benefits vastly from having an aged up cast, in both the amount of things the MCs are able to do, the length of the backstory they get to have, as well as the complex reactions they get to have to events happening to them. The character writing in this one is amazing, and the two leads feel like real people, both on their own and especially when interacting with each other. The image of the post-apocalyptic world is in no way fresh, but the author masterfully avoids the usual plotlines or pitfalls of writing about the apocalypse or flips the typical scenarios on their heads. The academy sections were a bit less interesting, but still scratched an itch that Promised Neverland never quite manage to satisfy in me, which I am thankful for.
The ending of the season is. A choice. In more ways than one. And I'll have to sit with it for a bit longer to figure out how exactly I feel about it, but I'm definitely down for a second season and will probably check the manga out once this challenge is done with.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 [♥]
　Mini Review: [7] While i'm not a big fan of the last plot twist, this was overall a very compelling disaster drama with good characters, and i really enjoyed the contrast between the single mother trying to return to her daughter yet feeling responsible to get the two kids she picked up home and mirai, one of the two kids, who doesn't even think her parents are waiting to see her all that much. It made the show really refreshing, compared to the usual "man + woman" or "man + his own child" dynamics you usually see in disaster movies, and the interactions between Mari and Mirai felt very natural and genuine. Mirai's writing in particular deserves a special shout out, because such a realistingly annoying 13 year old takes skills to write hhhh. I know some people found her unbearable, but I thought her charming, and the show does a good job of explaining why she acts the way she does. Also, despite my having Opinions about the last twist, I did really enjoy the ending! I'm weak to tearjerkers, what can I say hhh
Delico's Nursery [♥]
　Mini Review: [5] What I wanted was a childcare anime with hot vampire daddies. What I got was Mars Red. Looks at my score for Mars Red. Sighs I found this to be a pretty boring mystery anime, and the amount of time allotted to the childcare portions was simply not enough to really develop the children or the dads in an interesting fashion. The art is gorgeous and the kids are cute, but overall it was a slog to get through. Really regretting making this my first 2025 anime :(

Runway de Waratte [♥]
　Mini Review: [5] I won't lie, under normal circumstances this would've been a drop after episode one for me. I generally dislike stories that promote chasing your dreams by being as obnoxious as possible, and the second this show positioned the main characters yelling at their employers as "never giving up, so inspirational" I checked out of the show and nothing that happened after that convinced me to check back in. Watching this right after Chihayafuru also didn't help, as the lacking character writing and the general unlikeableness of the main leads was very hard to ignore. Also, and this might just be me, but the fashion was not fashioning in this show. Most of the pieces that were supposed to wow us looked basic at best and ugly at worst, but I will admit that I think clothes only looks good as a stylized designer sketch or a real life finished product, and never anywhere in between those two, including a simplistic anime artstyle. The wow factor just isn't there. It's not horrible, far from it, and I understand that it's just not my style, so overall it's a reasonable "5/10, not my thing".
Yuukoku no Moriarty [♥]
　Mini Review: [8] After a whole year's worth of two of my friends pestering me to watch it, I finally did. Not for them, though - it's for AWC hhhhhhhh. I love this reimagining of the Sherlock Holmes stories! It's the same good old mind games of two geniuses trying to outwit each other, but the fact that we're following the villain who's toying with Sherlock gives the familiar stories a fresh and exiting new coat of paint. I also really enjoyed the blatant villainy of the protagonist, and the way it's supported by the narrative - in the universe of Yuukoku no Moriarty killing bad people is the correct and based thing to do and I love it lol Also that line... "Catch me if you can, Mr. Holmes~", the fujobaiting is happening and honestly I'm here for it! lol Also I just know the OP will make it into my top 10 OPs I've seen this year, amazing work and the way Tasuku Hatanaka pronounces "cyst" is just so funny to me hhhh
Kacchikenee! [♥]
　Mini Review: [4] This was... alright! The art style isn't very pretty, the animation ain't that good, the characters are not very interesting and the plot is just okay. That's a student project for you! I can't be too mad at it though, the premise is kinda cute and they did try their best to execute it. If the romance was stronger (and the male lead wasn't so gross ;; oh well) I think I would've liked this more, but as it is it gets a "you tried" gold star and that's about it.
Suki demo Kirai na Amanojaku [♥]
　Mini Review: [7] This was nice! The animation is gorgeous and the characters are super cute, so the first half of the movie was a breeze to get through and I was very ready to love this and give this an 8. Sadly, once the movie started getting deeper into its themes and messaging it got kind of confused, and the main conflict & its resolution was very lackluster imo :/ It's almost like the movie didn't take its message seriously enough, so the finale didn't have any emotional intensity and all the issues the characters had were just kind of. Solved. Without any of them doing all that much. It's still an alright watch, and the main couple is absolutely adorable, but I do wish we got more Drama out of this plot :(

Onigamiden
　Mini Review: If Onigamiden's story and characters were as good as its art, I would have loved it. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I wasn't a fan of the main character and the oni don't make much sense. I don't want to spoil the plot, but the oni have motivations of their own but act in ways that counteract their goals. It's almost like they know that they're in a movie so they have to use dramatic timing to reveal things. Despite this, it was still enjoyable. I'm never going to rewatch it, but I don't regret having seen it and if someone wanted an action/adventure/supernatural movie set in ancient Japan, I wouldn't feel bad about recommending it to them. 6/10.
Pokemon Movie 04: Celebi Toki wo Koeta Deai
　Mini Review: Even though it's been over decade since I last enjoyed Pokemon, Pokemon Movie 04: Celebi Toki wo Koeta Deai made me feel some of that old nostalgia. The animation is overall very good, with a few instances of 3D animation that stick out a bit. But while it did evoke those nostalgic feelings, I never really cared about what was happening. It was a good movie to have on while I ate lunch and played on my phone, but how good it is really depends on how much the viewer cares about Pokemon. 6/10.
Cat Shit One
　Mini Review: I didn't really know what to expect going into Cat Shit One. What is that name? Why are rabbits fighting camels? Where are all the cats? What other anthropomorphic animals exist in this world? Do non-anthropomorphic animals exist? Cat Shit One answers none of these questions, yet it isn't cat shit itself. I wouldn't call it good, but it was decent enough military action short film. The animation was fine. Moderately enjoyable. 6/10
Mononoke Movie: Karakasa
　Mini Review: I quite liked Mononoke Movie: Karakasa. I watched Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror and Mononoke (TV) a couple years ago and enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to Mononoke Movie: Karakasa and was not disappointed. I liked the art style and the mystery of everything. Looking forward to the next two movies. 8/10.

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou
This anime was previously started. I watched 2 episodes on August 30, 2022.
　Mini Review: As stated above, I previously started watching Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou back in 2022. I started it and while I didn't dislike it, it wasn't what I was in the mood for. I thought it was fine, but put it on hold until I was in the mood to watch it. Fast forward to December 2024 and I've got several days off work due to Christmas and New Years Day and I find myself in the mood for a nice, calm, relaxing anime. It's time to give Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou a second chance. And I thought it was great. The characters are cute, they have fun adventures, and I never felt like they were in danger. It's the perfect anime to watch snuggled up on the couch. This score is conditional, given that I had to be in the right mood, but when I watched it I really did enjoy it quite a bit. 9/10.
Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan
　Mini Review: Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan is no Pingu, but it's still enjoyable. A fun little anime about a Chitose the penguin seeing the sights of Japan. And it's quite short so it's an easy anime to watch to complete the Josei demographic and Rated G tv type challenges. 6/10.
Spy x Family Movie: Code: White
　Mini Review: Spy x Family Movie: Code: White was pretty good. It was a good, self-contained story for people who already like Spy x Family and want more. It has Loid being a super spy, Yor being a naive badass, Anya being adorable, and Bond being a very good boy. I don't want to give spoilers, I've been playing Cyperpunk 2077 recently and there was a character who reminded me of that game. 8/10.
Pingu in the City
　Mini Review: I've seen some good anime in my time - Ghost in the Shell, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Frieren, Castle in the Sky. But all of these pale in comparison to the masterpiece that is Pingu in the City. Normal, every day anime rely on cheap tricks like dialogue to convey the story. But not Pingu. Not a word is spoken throughout its 26 episodes, yet I can clearly understand what happens. This is storytelling. This is apex of "show, don't tell". 11/10. Noot, noot.

Isekai Suicide Squad
　Mini Review: Isekai Suicide Squad was fun, and while I wouldn't go as far as calling it good, it was still moderately entertaining. I'd rate it above Suicide Squad (2016) and below The Suicide Squad (2021). I'm not a huge DC fan, but I felt like the characters were broadly consistent with their portrayals in the live action movies. The pop culture references got a bit old after the 10th one, but it was fun seeing the Suicide Squad have a fantasy adventure. Decent anime to have on in the background while you clean or game, but you're missing nothing if you don't watch it. 6/10.
Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season
　Mini Review: I was already a fan of Monogatari, so I expected to like this and hey, I did. There were flubbed lines, head tilts, abstract backgrounds and unique blocking for characters. All three story arcs were good. I think Nadeoko's was my favorite. I like the idea of being able to confront different versions of yourself. 8/10.
Pokemon Concierge
　Mini Review: I went in to Pokemon Concierge not expecting to be impressed, but I was wrong. Despite being a kids' anime, I found the workplace struggles of the main character surprisingly relatable. I too have had crap days at my job and had trouble fitting in and finding my place at a new job. I'm looking forward to season 2. 7/10.
Boukensha ni Naritai to Miyako ni Deteitta Musume ga S-Rank ni Natteta
　Mini Review: I liked this anime. It's got a fairly typical fantasy setting, but I really like fantasy. The father-daughter interactions were really cute. Reminded me of Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai. and Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita. 7/10.

One Room
　Mini Review: I did not like One Room. It felt like it was made to be porn, but didn't even have the decency to have actual NSFW material. Just things like "Look at this girl. She's wearing clothes. Now imagine her not wearing those clothes." I don't know who the target market is for this, but I'm not it. The ONLY good thing about it was that it was short. If it were longer, I would be giving it a much lower score. 3/10.
Kaijuu 8-gou
　Mini Review: I liked Kaijuu 8-gou. Thought it was good. Good fights that were well animated. But it is just the start of the story so how good the overall story is will be determined by later seasons. I liked that the MC was 32 and surrounded by people younger than him, but I wish more had been done with that. We get some jokes about how he's "so old", but I'd have liked more about what it's like to be working with people 10 years younger than you. And I wish it had gone into more detail about how the kaiju have changed the economy. But even though I have these minor complaints, I still enjoyed it and will probably watch season 2 when it comes out. 7/10.
Izumo
　Mini Review: I thought Izumo was ok. It reminded be of Castle in the Sky, but worse. Could've done without the nudity. I would give it a 5/10, but it had airships and I love airships in anime, so that bumps it up to a 6/10.
Look Back
　Mini Review: I'm not really sure what I think about Look Back, so I'm going to use this review to try to figure it out. I mean, I liked it. It's pretty good. But it's also got depth to it, a message. And that's what I'm not 100% sure about. Ultimately, it's about making friends and following dreams and dealing with loss, but there's also some
elements going on and they don't make sense. I guess it's more of a poignant "how does this make you feel" anime than a plot driven anime. It's not the kind of thing I usually watch, but I still liked it. I can see why so many people are giving it 9s and 10s, but for me it's an 8/10.

　Mini Review: I dare say this movie was interesting. It was able to give you a fairly decent backstory, with character development, and a resolution to the problem. I wish there was more to the story, or it could've been made into a series/more content to expand to the future. 7/10.
Clione no Akari
　Mini Review: The drama is just a third wheel party. Story is bland and uh I am not a fan of the blandness. The art is not as good either. It needs more and tends to drag. 3/10
91 Days: Toki no Asase/Subete no Kinou/Ashita, Mata Ashita
　Mini Review: A nice episode that goes along with the series. It added a little more depth to some of the characters in these three shorts. I wish I had watched it sooner, since it had been awhile since I had watched the series. The side stories were nice, but nothing super spectacular. 6/10
Aria the Avvenire
　Mini Review: These side stories of the girls was a nice watch. I am so happy they included a whole episode about the owners, as well as explained how birthdays work on the different planets. It was a nice change of pace. 7/10

　Mini Review: The story had a fair start and the art isn't too terrible. The storytelling of going around and mixing in Mythology created chaos and confusion. The monsters were not terrifying and the MC made me hate him due to the utter uselessness. Could've been worse, but should've been better. 4/10.
Deadman Wonderland: Akai Knife Tsukai
　Mini Review: I am happy we were able to see Senji backstory. It was very interesting and helped with his character development. A fun add on to the series. 7/10.
Accel World: Infinite∞Burst
　Mini Review: The movie felt like a fast paced compilation in my opinion. It allowed me to develop a connection to the characters quickly, and want to go back and dive into the series. The art was overall nice, but felt a little weird in some places for my taste. 6/10
Meitantei Conan vs. Kaitou Kid
　Mini Review: This movie did a very good job showing the dynamic between the two characters. It welcomed anyone into the movie from any point in either series. It was a nice movie and makes you want to either start the series or continue on with them. 8/10

Amada Anime Series: Super Mario Brothers
　Mini Review: The first episode was intriguing on how they expanded the lore and mythos behind the story. The grandparents was weird, and characters being large is weird, and the colors of the characters feel wrong. I am not a fan of the shade of green they used for Bowser. This feels like a cash grab for more money when they released the game. 4/10.
1 Pound no Fukuin
　Mini Review: This was a nice short story of a boxer experiencing the ups and downs of the sport. I am glad they were able to create a nice short story. The art was a little dated, and parts seemed really rushed. The nun is incredibly sweet and endearing to the story. 7/10
Mashle
　Mini Review: I love Harry Potter a lot. I felt like this would be what Harry Potter would be like if there was an American muggle at Hogwarts. I almost just jumped straight into season 2. I hope it is just as good as this first season. 9/10
Beastars 2nd Season
　Mini Review: This new season moved the story along. The big reveal was nice, and I did not expect some of the twists and turns. The relationships seem full of misunderstandings however, which I am not the biggest fan. Overall, I still enjoyed it. 8/10

　Mini Review: It was nice to see a second season. I like how the characters interact, especially the ones but I wish the episodes were longer. I would like to see the episodes to be much much longer but it was a fun season. 7/10.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen
　Mini Review: I am happy they made a new season. It was a lot of fun getting to see another arc. I wish some of the other demons had more screen times, but it was nice to focus on a few extra characters. I now understand all of the thirst traps from TikTok. 8/10

　Mini Review: Many people said Eren did nothing wrong. Eren was a selfish character who deserves the fate he asked for himself. It was nice to see how they all ended up and to officially wrap it up. 9/10

　Mini Review: There's not much to say except for it's Demon Slayer! This season was a bit lackluster compared to previous seasons but it was still really good. I wish there was a bit more action but the ending kind of made up for it and as always the characters are a blast to watch. It was nice to see the Hashira get more screen time also. It's just a fun and easy anime to sit down to watch so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

　Mini Review: Well that was a trippy anime full of twists and turns! Didn't think I'd like it but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought. It was hard to follow at times and made you wonder what was real or fiction but it turned out to be a solid anime. Movies are usually hard for me to watch but this one was good, so I ended up scoring it an 8!
[✔] Spy x Family Movie: Code: White
　Mini Review: Spy x Family is always a fun anime to watch and the movie wasn't an exception! I was hooked from beginning to end and enjoyed it as just as much as the first two seasons. It may be a bit childish at times but it's nice to get away from all of the serious anime once in a while! All in all, it was a great side story while we wait for the third season!!

With all of that being said it really wasn't a bad anime and even though I was slightly disappointed, I still enjoyed watching it!

　Mini Review: I thought it was just a very fun anime to watch even though Noor wasn't the smartest character. I feel like if he had even a sliver of intelligence this anime could've been bigger but I guess that's part of the charm. It amused me for a few hours and had several funny moments so that's a plus! Even with all of its shortcomings I still scored it a solid 8!

Amrita no Kyouen ✅
　Mini Review: I watched my fair of bad horror animes, so I know what Im talking about when I say Amrita no Kyouen is an absolute mess. The animation, oh man...why is it animated like that? I guess it's a style, but the mix of 3d and 2d aswell as the poor frames, terrible. The story? Dont get me started on that shit. It just pushes you in without explaning A SINGLE BIT. Plus, the main characters breath more then they actually speak! This is the perfect example of a failed attempt at creating a "suspenful" gore movie. The best part of it all was that it was only 47 minutes.
Bai Niao Gu ✅
　Mini Review: The art? Astonishing. The sound? Marvellous. The animation? Wonderful. The problem is that it was boring! Maybe it's because I didn't look deep enough into it, but the story was confusing and it was so short I just couldn't get into it! There is no voice acting, wich isnt a problem on its own, but stories that leave the viewer to interpret what's happening aren't my cup of tea. Kudos to the animators and sound director though.
Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou ✅
　Mini Review: What better thing then to watch a comedy alternate universe of one of the most traumatic anime there is? A pure treat if you ask me! The art style is adorable, the references from the original series were well added and the jokes made me chuckle more then once. It's the perfect anime to watch to ignore the terrible tragedies that your favorite character faces :D (my poor baby Eren).
Generation of Chaos Next: Chikai no Pendant ✅
　Mini Review: Maybe it's because I never played or even heard of the original games before, but this had zero relevance to the prequel. Not only that, but the animation is terrible and only consists of mouth mouvements, hand mouvements, sliding, zooms and walking in place. The story has no context and like I said, we cant even count on the prequel to help us understand because it's totally different characters and situations. Not much is happening, as it's just the story of a knight in training and his relation with a princess so overall, quite a waste of time.

Ame-iro Cocoa in Hawaii ✅️
Mini Review: This is just the short story of a guy opening a shop in Hawaï. It's your average fanservice of "hot and cute" boys. Plus, the story, art, and animation are average/boring . There is one thing that rlly bugged me though . One of the main characters has a very despleasing english-japanese accent. The problem is that he is the ONLY person who speaks that way(I understand because he could be an hawaïen who learned japanese to help the mc) but, every other normal Hawaien has a perfect japanese accent...make it consistent a least! Better put no accent on that one guy at all! Also, I found it really creepy that the last episode had a Chrismas theme...and I watched this on Chrismas day...Are they spying on me?

Ore dake Level Up na Ken
　Mini Review: So THIS is the famous "Solo Leveling"? It's such a generic show, how does it get so much praise? I remember reading the first arc of the mahwa a long time ago (and I enjoyed it very much), but as soon as the mc got all powerful, I dropped it. During my watching, I was tempted to do the same thing. After the first 4 episodes, everything is so predictable! Mc fights, badly injured, goes berserk, beats the bad guys and then levels up, over over and over again! Then the other characters are irrelevant (the show is probably just setting them up for their appearance in season 2). The Mc is so overpowered that it's just NOT FUN! Plus, he kinda seems dead inside and kind of an asshole now that he's got his powers all boosted up, wich doesnt make you want to root for him . The art and animation are good, I guess, but when im talking about a 12 ep anime, those things barely matter. Conclusion : Popular doesnt always equal good.

Yoru no Kuni ✅
　Mini Review: The art and animation style of this are so pretty, eye candy. The stories are about grief, jealousy and uncertainty for the future and Im not even gonna lie, the first one was fine, second good but the third one...that's the one that did it for me and made me rate it so high. It's something I really needed to hear right now, so much I watched the end multiple time. Plus, the music is amazing and I have myself a new song to add to the playlist. This is really the type of anime everyone should watch once, it's so short anyways.

　Mini Review: For a gag humor anime, this was quite the miss. I liked the general vibe, the main character (Shikanoko) and the deer informations but for a anime that is all about jokes, I didn't laugh a single time. The jokes were just absurd, not funny. Anyways, the rest was fine and im sure it's just because this isn't my type of humour (even if I did laugh a lot in animes like Asobi Asobase, Grand Blue and Prison School).

　Mini Review: The interactions between Touka and Seras were frequent enough to at least make it barely worthwhile to watch.
Everything else of note was pretty bad however; the shifts between normally drawn models and CGI character models for the two main characters happening abruptly and often even when they are just standing around in a room not moving much are stumping; I don't remember the OP nor the ED or any other soundtrack from this.
The game-like elements, e.g. levels, fixed skills, ranks and mp, don't make much sense, but are more or less standard fare with this type of world, so I don't mind as much; stuff like targeting by sight (what exactly does that mean, why does a monster's head not count but people clad in armor or clothing can be targeted normally), refilling mp to max on levelup or shouting skill names however make even less sense as they can't just be representations of internally consistent, reasonably crafted worlds. On this topic, there isn't much known of the world to us at the end of the series other than a map, which makes it even harder to care about anything large-scale going on.
Most characters in this series are laughably evil and have no shown reason or motivation for this, including the goddess that sentences Touka to death in the first episode. Even many of the his predominantly shown class members are no exception to this, they just suddenly are as they arrive at this new world and realize their power. This doesn't really matter though as they are just filler – they're almost completely disjointed from Touka and Sera's journey as they don't interact in any way (directly, indirectly or causally) with Touka or his companions after being summoned with him in the first episode, except for one inconsequental random encounter between the leopard lady and some of the girls in his class in the last episode. The main character is also a psycho edgelord who loves to kill people when they are just theoretically a threat to him at some point instead of just rendering them unable to fight and moving on; he's even killing people that don't pose a threat to him for no reason other than disliking them and just loves to hold a monologue, both before, after, and while killing enemies, human and those not, regardless of if they can even understand him.
Also, the horse is fugly in all its forms and people's clothing and armor choices make no sense. 5/10
"Oshi no Ko" 2nd Season [4 episodes previously seen]
　Mini Review: Great production values with a fantastic ED. It's somewhat held back by the need to ramble to the audience about Japan's entertainment industry by characters talking to nobody (I don't mind the cases where it makes sense that the characters talk about this and they actually talk to each other) and a disappointing mystery plot; though I'm not usually a fan of such teen drama, I somehow find it compelling here (torn on the romance part however). I very much enjoyed this. 8/10
Tabi Machi Late Show
　Mini Review: It's strange that this amount of animation is enough to get a MAL entry, it's just still images with some 1fps animation sparsely sprinkled on. The character designs were ugly and the story boring and uninteresting, there being 30 seconds of credits before the first episode even starts is also very off-turning. I guess this type of anime is just not something I like. 2/10
Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria [3 episodes previously seen]
　Mini Review: This has a good OST and overall decent animation which is sometimes a little wonky, mostly when blending in the 2D characters with a rotating 3D environment; I also like the character designs and the world is potentially interesting.
Unfortunately most of the time is spent on boring magic academy stuff that has glaring issues, e.g. the rules of the tournament concerning the elimination of teams and killing people are never mentioned, making it hard to be even slightly interested in it as there is no framework in which the actions of people could be explained, the climax of episode 11 shows that there is probably no interesting magic system as the way of defeating the main monster seems like an asspull, and Will jumps way too often which is distracting since jumping is more dangerous (as you cannot change direction mid-air) and much slower than running.
Some of the writing is also very confusing to me: the first part of the last episode is just the last part of episode 11, people talk during fights way too often, things happen over a day long interval but people arrive at exactly the convenient time second-wise, the series antagonists' goal remains very vague, bullying and attempted murders towards Will are not ever met with repercussions and he forgives it right away, and people act against their goals all the time, like in the crown attack; it is also very strange that the party of six didn't make any plans for the dungeon dive at all, neither regarding any goals in defeating monsters, nor for the route or party roles to take. 6/10

　Mini Review: Pleasant artwork and decent sound, the voices were also mostly pretty nice. I didn't really care about the orange-blue pair, it felt like classical teen romance drama; the purple-yellow pair was much more engaging. I hope the second season focuses more on them. 6/10

　Mini Review: The character designs are meh, but the food and environments look pretty nice. Enjoyment-wise, this is a mixed bag, as there are some funny interactions with Fel and he is overall a decent character, but Sui is sometimes a little annoying. While I dislike some of the plot elements ("useless skill" decided by its name alone), most of the last two episodes dropped the ball by focusing on stuff that's just generic Isekai shlock (peddling some random earth merch, saving some guild members with healing potions, killing a swarm of monsters that threaten the city) and I don't see any general motivation from Mukouda making his actions pretty random, like selling stuff he bought with his skill for that purpose when he has more than enough money to buy whatever he wants, the overall writing is not that bad. 5/10

Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu [1 episode previously seen]
　Mini Review: This anime and its main character have an identity crisis: it is partly a fun isekai romp (in which it mostly succeeds) but sadly turns into GATE later on, while she cannot decide on what she wants – money, do whatever she wants, operate a shop, do a consulting business, spread technology, or be a savior.
If her goal was truly to save up money, what she did was a bad and stupid approach, stupid as opening a convenience store with only the useless items will not be bringing in relevant money – for example she could've just only sold clocks and watches and made a fortune – and bad in that it will bring all sorts of unwanted attention to her.
Even if the story falls apart in the last episodes, at least some of the characters are fun to watch; while Colette is annoying, the princess is entertaining and Mizuha's big brother is always worth a smile when he's shown on screen. 5/10
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season
　Mini Review: I guess I had to wade through countless bad shows where characters are just forgotten as soon as they are off-screen to really appreciate Re:Zero. As I think that this and its second part are supposed to be viewed as one season, see the following item. Time for more suffering. 8/10
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2
　Mini Review: I really appreciate the variable episode length and the OP/ED animations often times being skipped to free up space for more content, it gives the large cast of sympathetic, relevant characters more time to shine, which is great because they're Re:Zero's greatest strength. As for the production values, this is pretty good, minus the scarce not as well-animated magical beasts (in the few cases they aren't blending in nicely with the environment). Writing-wise, I have no complaints except most of the witches being there not having an impact on the story wasting time (which will probably be rectified by them having a relevant role in later arcs) and Subaru and Emilia somehow understanding each other perfectly despite being in a snowstorm while far apart with a lot of noisy rabbits in between them. 8/10
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time 2nd Season
　Mini Review: This was a good mood complement to the main series, as well as providing further insight into some plot points and characters, the animation was also decent. By making it to be watched it in parallel with the main series as opposed to separately it also didn't fall into the pitfall of becoming repetitive or boring. I think it is a good addition to the series. 7/10

Ore dake Level Up na Ken: How to Get Stronger
　Mini Review: All the bad stuff from Joutai Ijou skill applies here but worse.
The engrish OP is cringe and the rest of the OST is also far worse than Hiroyuki Sawano usually does, the MC's voice doesn't match him, and the art and animation are meh too.
Solo Leveling has a lot of shitty game related stuff ("modern weapons dont work", classes, ranks, magical power, strict affinities for jobs, time stop during system prompts, players, "system", levelups, quests, attributes that dont represent reality, items, system popups and info, titles, gates) that makes no sense. Even if the manhwa and novel later explained some of it to make sense (which it doesn't), it still has no reason to be here. How does the hunter economy work and why is it so huge, what influence has it on the normal economy, why are hunters so extremely popular, why is the MC working as a hunter when he purportedly makes zero money from it so a normal job should be better paying? All questions that aren't answered at all.
The detailed script doesn't make much sense either. How does the MC act like he already knows anything that happens at the end of the double dungeon (when clearly he doesn't have a clue what's going on)? Why does his sword break in half after a few hits by the serpent but doesn't take damage at all when he hits the serpent with it a dozen times? Why does he "die if it hits him once", but takes no damage at all after being flung around by it at least 4 times? How does "else your heart will stop beating in 0.02 seconds" make sense (that's not how hearts work)?
The characters are even worse in the sense that none except the MC ever matter. They don't have any interesting or well-developed personalities and except for praising and admiring the MC and showing how much superior he is than them, they don't have any relevant influence on the story making them useless, or they are evil and greedy so the MC has punching bags.
On that note, the story is also basic and boring. The MC is confronted with murderers and plunderers and the consequence is the system telling him to kill them or die, removing any possible moral conflict and interesting decisionmaking (after which he kills them in cold blood and doesn't mind after). The story presents itself as brutal and shocking, but is not scary, dark or immersive at all since it has no depth.
At least they didn't show the necromancy yet (because necromancy sucks both the way it is done here as well as storytelling wise in general) and the recap was short. 4/10
Okashi na Tensei [2 episodes previously watched]
　Mini Review: Nothing about this is good.
The names make no sense as characters' given names are mostly japanese and french, the written language is latin, while the places clearly sound like neither of the three. There is also no reason for the gimmick of calling apples bonkas if all the other plants have the names one would expect.
The romance part is not good, with the former adult main character blushing and fawning over a child based on her appearance and the two being in love while not really ever interacting in a prolonged way before.
The series has magic while not using it at all. There are a bunch of powers, none of which ever utilized in a useful way, the worst offender of all being Pastry with the power to copy everything – including objects and other's magic and coupled with infinite magical power – that he never uses for anything remotely useful. Since that would instantly resolve all problems ever encountered in the series, all the tension and drama feel empty as they are built on people's ridiculous stupidity and Pastry – as one of those – being portrayed as smart is not helping either; he can also never decide if he wants to hide his power or not.
His main goal is – perpetually cited – wanting to make sweets in a sweets country, but he never actually does anything towards that goal, just as all the other motivations in this series don't align with people's senseless actions. The general's son is another shitty character being whiny and arrogant, useless but praised for nothing, sacrificing his soldiers for nothing just to preserve his pride, and then having to be buttered up in the last episode of the series to stop his sulking. 4/10

　Mini Review: Now this the quality that I've come to expect from a Sawano anime: an impeccable soundtrack, accomopanied by stellar character designs and animation (except the little humanoid enemies) as well as a delightful (not in tone though) story with interesting and well-written characters. It nails the tone and while a very few writing decisions aren't perfect (the military uniforms, the coincidence of Shin having been Anette's neighbor and the lack of focus on the Spearhead members other than the main five), all of them have upsides as well and thus aren't bad. The only such big question is how exactly the brain wave head copy thing makes sense, and I look forward to the second season elaborating on that. 8/10

Eve no Jikan (Movie)
　Mini Review: This movie was fun to watch. One of the film's strongest elements is its atmosphere. The art direction is impeccable. The characters are beautifully written, I was intrigued and interested in their stories and the interactions between humans and androids. It was sometimes confusing with some story elements, but it didn't take away too much of the movie. And by the end of it, I found myself wanting more. 8/10
Tejina-senpai
　Mini Review: For an ecchi comedy anime, I think this show did what it set out to do, I'm not a huge Ecchi fan that's why it end up with 6/10. I'll say the comedy was well done and made me laugh out loud a couple of times. I also gotta mention, the opening is cool. 6/10
Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai!
　Mini Review: I massivaly enjoyed the first episode of this, especially how it's presented as a stage play, but that quickly changed. The show relys heavily on dialogue, and for me it was enjoyable at times, but sometimes was a complete mess, which meant I just sat there listening to a character yapping for 10-15 minutes. I did enjoy the plot and even the fact that we have no idea what is true at all, yet the ending still leaves something to be desired. I don't hate the ending itself, but the fact the last episode is 26 minutes for THAT... Cmon guys. 4/10.
(Also a quick mention, the intro part of episodes 1-5 is just listing weird bird facts, but it was presented in an ugly way, I wasn't a fan of it)
Strange Dawn
　Mini Review: This show just went around and around and then did nothing. I'm not sure what was accomplished or changed. The two girls got there, yelled for 13 episodes, and then left. I don't believe we get conclusions to most stories, We just see the characters fighting for hours and then nothing. It's just a big waste of time. 3/10

The Cockpit
　Mini Review: Going into this, I didn't think I'd actually enjoy it, but surprisingly it was good. Each story is barely above 20 minutes long, but I'd say they did a good job of getting me to care about the characters on screen. The third story was a bit weak as I didn't understand exactly why they did what they did, especially since one of them tried to save the other, but ended up just leaving him to bleed to death. Also, it's super funny how all the Japanese soldiers are drawn except for the MC of the 2nd episode, XD. 7/10
Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru.
　Mini Review: NGNL is one of my favorite anime of all time, and in general I do like watching High Stakes Game/Strategy Games, because even when they are bad, it's always the type of bad that is good. This show is just that, it's awful, but it was fun to watch, especially with a friend. The games are mostly trash, there are a few that were a bit entertaining. The show tries to BS you at every turn. The MC is bland, yet the show tries to force the idea he is a genius whenever he'd do anything even the simplest most obvious ideas. Yet I have to mention the few good things about it, which are the OP and a few side characters that I found hilarious. 3/10
Liar Liar
　Mini Review: Oh god... I hate this show with a passion, I could go for hours on why, but I'll keep this a mini-review. The concept of this anime to cheat and lie to win strategy games is poorly executed, the plot is unbelievably absurd, the characters are infuriating, the games (in an anime tagged Strategy Game) aren't that important (I do wonder why they bothered making and explaining these games if no one will actually play them), The animation (especially in the last few episodes) shouldn't even be called animation. And that ending... After 6 episodes, half the length of the show, following this one long game.... it's so anticlimactic and a big waste of time. 1/10
Murder Princess
　Mini Review: The show has an interesting premise with some cool plot twists, but it was too short to flesh out any meaningful story. The villains were a bit too cartoonish in my opinion, they want to destroy the world just because it's an evil thing and they are evil people XD. The action was nice and overall not a bad show if you have 2 hours to kill. 5/10

Isekai Nonbiri Nouka
　Mini Review: Against my expectations going into this, it turned out to be a solid show. I still ended up giving it a 6 because even though I really liked the aspect of slowly building a city and watching it grow, them getting new people, and new materials, but it was still a bit boring at times. It got redundant with some stuff, I'm not gonna go into all that not to make this review too long. My other big problem with this show is that for a show with Farming in its name, I'd say Farming is barely 10% of the show. Not to mention with the MC's tool, farming is just hit the ground and think of what you want and it'll be there. Who cares what weather, conditions, or type of dirt these crops need. Pests aren't a thing, and thanks to the tool time needed for them to grow is much shorter. I know this is all done to speed things along, so the MC doesn't have to wait 10-20 years for a few trees to grow, but I feel they made farming way too easy for me to care about this aspect. But it's not all bad. I really really liked Zabuton, those chickens were a 10/10, and the overall vibe was nice. A solid show that I'd recommend people to try. 6/10
Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta.
　Mini Review: I don't want to write this review tbh, but here I go, I need those points XD. I never thought I'd actually pick this show up, I guess it's so infamous I had to know why. I find it funny how the dog's face keeps changing, it's like they forget how he looks and keep redesigning it XD. Speaking of his face, why do they try to avoid showing it? I know it's usually a tactic to make self-insert easier, but are people really trying to insert themselves into the dog's POV?! I won't judge but I kinda am XD. 1/10
Juuou Mujin no Fafnir
　Mini Review: There's not much to say about this show, it's your generic harem action anime. The plot isn't that interesting. The girls are your typical cardboard characters most harems have, give them one trait and call it a day. The animation is ugly, especially those dragons. And the attacks are just different colored lasers with different names. There is a plot twist near the end that at first I thought was cool because I didn't see it coming, but then I realized it actually doesn't make sense. In the end, it's not the worst you'll see, but also it doesn't have anything going for it. 5/10
Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru (Previously watched 2/12)
　Mini Review: I'll start by mentioning how good the anime opening is, it's the reason I picked this show in the first place back in 2022, but after 2 episodes I dropped it because I could tell it's just another generic mediocre at best isekai. And now that I finished it, I could say I was right. I like the characters' design, but that animation was truly horrible at times. It's not that bad compared to other isekais, and actually, it does a few things right, but at the end of the day, it's nothing special. 4/10

　Mini Review: Honestly I lost interest halfway through the movie, I wasn't hooked on the plot, it felt lackluster. I ended up just making fun of random things and making stupid jokes with the person I watched this with instead, which made it more fun, to be honest XD. 6/10
Mitsuboshi Colors
　Mini Review: What a fun cute show this has been. I like the girls, their personalities, and the energy they bring. The show is funny and enjoyable. And the cherry on top is Colonel Monochrome, I loved every moment of that silly cat. Would love to actually see more. 8/10
Beck
　Mini Review: I was shocked at how much I vibed with the music in this show. The plot was slow at times, where it felt like nothing major was happening for a couple of episodes at a time, and the pacing was off with some stories, not to mention how the animation suffered greatly in some episodes, but tbh, I just turned off my brain and cheered for this band, enjoy how they slowly grew, and I did have a great time at the end of the day. 8/10
Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon
　Mini Review: My biggest problem with this show was the idea of "death is not permanent" because although it's a good idea and it made for a few funny moments (Which I wish the show focused more on), they always tried to make a big deal of death, war, and injuries, but the stakes couldn't be any lower. Other than that, the plot is stale because there are no plot twists. I can't even use the word predictable, because you don't need to predict anything, you're always given the answer right away. We're told who the evil guy is the moment they enter the story. The MC's personality is so grating, it’s hard to root for her. I did though enjoy some of the suppourting cast. And the ending song does rock, so that's a plus. 4/10

Aura: Maryuuin Kouga Saigo no Tatakai
　Mini Review: The way this movie started out really threw me off to how the rest of the anime played out. I really felt for both of the main characters. The emotions ran deep with this one. I feel like the emotional conflict the characters were experiencing was relatable. While this anime didn’t have a lot of chaos or feel like a roller coaster, it had meaning attached to it which made it well worth the watch.
Burn the Witch #0.8
　Mini Review: I thought it was very good!! The animation was very pretty to look at and I appreciate all of the colors in this anime. For how short this single episode was, I feel like soooo much happened. I grew an emotional attachment to the back story of the characters and was on the edge of my seat with all of the twists and turns. I would love to watch a 12+ episode TV series of Burn the Witch.
Fukigen na Mononokean
　Mini Review: THIS ANIME WAS SO PRECIOUS. Awhhhh. All of the yokai absolutely stole my heart. This anime reminded me a lot of Natsume Yuujinchou. Their interactions and backstories were so touching. The hairball was the cutest freaking ball of fluff, oh my goodness. Another plus is that Abeno’s voice actor is one of my favorites. The underworld looked so pretty too! The animation during that part reminded me a lot of Mononoke. This anime makes me wish I could see yokai. I am super excited for the next season!
Yumedamaya Kidan
　Mini Review: For starters, I thought Kotarou was a very cool character. I love his design and how mysterious he is. The little creature was very odd, but he made me laugh towards the end. This anime as a whole was interesting, but I feel like too much was packed into such a short timeframe. Naho’s feelings were all over the place, but I feel like that’s fair for a fifth grade girl. Jun was adorable and his dream seemed like so much fun. I loved the colors. All in all, it was fine.

Chuumon no Ooi Ryouriten (1993)
　Mini Review: For this review, I have previously seen the 1958 and 1991 versions of this anime, so I can’t help but compare it to the others while I type this. I felt that this version was much more comical rather than scary. However, I did appreciate how much more screen time the cats had in this one! The animation felt very magical as well. I feel like I would recommend this version to a kid, whereas I would recommend 1991 to someone older and then 1958 for anyone who loves a black and white classic. No matter the age though, it is still worth the watch!
Fuuma no Kojirou: Yasha-hen
　Mini Review: I had a difficult time watching this one. It felt like it was never going to end. As I watched this, it felt like I was constantly missing something. The action was super dramatic and all over the place. It was very difficult for me to keep up with what was going on in the storyline. I genuinely don’t even understand what I just watched. Maybe I had to read the manga before watching this one? Not sure.
Momochi-san Chi no Ayakashi Ouji
　Mini Review: It was unbelievably difficult trying not to compare this anime to Kamisama Kiss. So many similarities. Putting that opinion aside, I really loved the side characters. A lot. The animation was stunning as well. So smooth, so many pretty colors. While I came for the romance, I left for the story. I just wish the romance was more romance-y. The story and side characters made up for it though. I am looking forward to reading the manga!
Oemojisangjuui
　Mini Review: I have been looking forward to watching this anime since it released and I am sad to say that I did not enjoy it as much as I had hoped to. My favorite parts were the intro (shout out to ATEEZ) and the singing. Hyung Suk‘s singing voice is absolutely beautiful. WOW. I could listen to that voice all day. Outside of those bits, there was just too much bullying and negative energy in my opinion. It also seemed like there was no effort in clearing up simple misunderstandings. It seemed like this anime just revolved around fighting and nothing more.

Kekkai Sensen: Ousama no Restaurant no Ousama
　Mini Review: HAHAHAHAHAHA. THAT WAS SO FUNNY. Zapp and Leo were absolutely SENDING me. All of the characters were so funny in this episode and I was dying of laughter throughout the episode. I wasn’t expecting much either, because I didn’t like the series itself very much. I also appreciate that this episode actually had conflict as well, because it just added to all of the chaos. The creatures who ran the restaurant looked super cool as well! This was great. The time flew by quick while watching it. I wish it lasted longer.
Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita.
　Mini Review: THAT WAS SO CUTE. Oh how I wish this was a 12+ episode TV series!! The merman was absolutely hilarious. Ohmygoodness. This anime had me laughing so hard. He was just so sweet too. Even though this was so short, there was just the right amount of background and development. I grew an emotional attachment to the story and characters. In my opinion, it had the perfect amount of comedy, romance, and serious moments. I had the biggest smile on my face after it was all said and done.
Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!
　Mini Review: The animation was absolutely gorgeous!! The colors were stunning and the entire flow was beautiful. Aside from that though, I didn’t like this anime as much as I had hoped to. In my opinion, all of the characters were very over the top and every interaction felt overdramatic. It also felt like too many mini storylines were taking place all at once. I felt unattached from this anime.
Wooser no Sono Higurashi
　Mini Review: WHAT A MESS. HAHAHA. I thought this was going to be a children’s show. Wooster’s voice cracked me up, I cannot even begin to explain why. He is such a mess. I love him. The animation fit the comedy very well. I also LOVED the ending theme. I had lots of fun dancing to it at the end of every episode. The references gave me so much joy as well. This was a fun watch!

Bakemonogatari Recap
　Mini Review: I really enjoyed this, which comes as a surprise to me. I didn’t like Bakemonogatari when I first watched it. The episodes felt like they dragged on, in my opinion. I thought this recap episode did a very good job of summarizing the events that took place between the crab and the snail. Dare I say, it made me want to give the series another try. This recap episode pulled me in with the retelling of the two stories. The animation was all over the place as usual with this series, which I really enjoyed. They did a good job with this one. I think this is exactly what I needed to pull me back into this franchise.
BT21 Universe Animation
　Mini Review: That was super cute! I wish I knew more about the BTS members before watching it, but it was still enjoyable going in blind. Everyone’s story was very heartfelt and pulled me in. The characters were so fun and I loved all of the colors in the animation. Short and sweet! I kind of want to maybe possibly try properly stanning BTS now too, rather than just knowing a few of their songs. Just from what I saw in some comments, these may have been inspired by true events in each member’s backstory? Awhh. I am looking forward to seeing where their BT21 adventures go!! I also had no idea these Line characters were based on BTS which is quite funny to me. Their designs are freaking adorable.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
　Mini Review: I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. The mysteries and the scandals were so exciting to gradually uncover. The characters and storyline had so much depth! This series continued to create more questions as tiny answers were given. The animation for this anime is soooo pretty. I have felt like I have been living in another world (this anime) for the past two days and now that it is over I feel lost. I have the first volume of the light novels delivering tomorrow because this anime absolutely captivated me. I am so excited for the second season!
Ryo
　Mini Review: Dang. That was sad. It started off strong, but I feel like the ending was wrapped up much too quickly. I think this would have gotten a much better rating if it had a longer length in order to have an ending that didn’t feel so rushed. The cat was extremely adorable. I really liked Ryouma and the girl (I think her name was Oriyo?), because they had a lot of personality that radiated off their characters. I liked where things were going with Ryo’s character development as well. I feel like it was worth the watch.

Bartender: Kami no Glass
　Mini Review: I've seen a lot of negative opinions going around for this one. A lot of people seem to dislike it because it focuses on bartending more than it does the customers, which is the opposite of the first adaptation. Personally I found this to still be an interesting and compelling show and I enjoyed seeing the view from the other side. (re-write, focus less on other people's opinions and more on my own)
Yoiko no Tanoshii Christmas
　Mini Review: An interesting anthology of music videos Christmas songs done by different directors. Like usual with these sort of things the results were a mixed bag though they were mostly good this time around. Each had different art and animation styles which kept things interesting. There were only two that I didn't really care for. The first Jingle Bells, which felt phoned in as it just consisted of a few different loops of kids riding in a horse drawn sleigh. The second being Silent Night, I didn't really care for American Gothic art style and it was just a couple of floating images anyhow. The stand outs for me was Joy to the World, Here Comes Santa Clause, and Santa Clause is Coming to Town.

　Mini Review: This one was a surprise for me, from the first three episodes I thought I was going to hate it with an art style that reminded me of Gantz in your face wackyness. Though as the show went on I warmed up to it and enjoyed it's strange combination of absurd humor and more serious topics. It's rating would probably be higher without the first three episodes and if there were more of it.
Dr. Stone: Ryuusui
　Mini Review: Enjoyable but felt like a waste of a movie. For a movie I would have expected something more exciting than what we were given here. There were a lot of opportunities for adventure and exciting exploration but other than the end all we got was standard item creation. As a story arc in the show it's fine but as a movie it's kinda meh.
Ane wa Yanmama Junyuu-chuu
　Mini Review: I wasn't sure about this one going in as I usually find this sort of modern vanilla hentai that lacks any sort of real story boring. At first I thought maybe that wouldn't be the case, the art an animation were good and the first episode was pretty hot. Though as the second episode went on I found myself getting bored, with scenes that seemed to be the same animation loops just with different back grounds and more focus on the male/married woman sex fantasy that I just can't identify with. It wasn't bad, it's just the second half didn't do much for me.

Inu-Ou
　Mini Review: If this was an actual MAL review I'd probably tag this as "Mixed Feelings" despite the fact that I gave it a 7. The art and animation were beautiful, the story was compelling, and I'm always a sucker for Japanese supernatural mythology stories. The thing that held it back for me were the acid rock performances in ancient Japan, I couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to accept this. Also there was the fact that the first of the three wasn't very good.
Look Back
　Mini Review: Honestly story wise there wasn't much here. I couldn't really get emotionally invested in the characters. Towards the end it kinda felt like they were just showing dull flashbacks to drag the film out longer because they ran out of story. It doesn't get a negative score but I didn't like this much.

　Mini Review: Ok, so I'm not a prude, but this went too far for me, way too far. Just throwing in the most disgusting kinks right off the bat, no lead in, just oh hi, hope you like [censored] because this has got you covered. The second episode is a little more tame but not by much. Maybe if the characters were likable I might have enjoyed this despite the gross stuff, also maybe if the anime wasn't about mentally torturing and gasslighting a girl that just isn't into their kinks... The whole thing feels like some edgy teenager's idea of what an "adult" anime would be like.
Undead Girl Murder Farce
　Mini Review: When I started this show I was happy to have found what I thought would be a detective mystery anime where for once the mysteries were logical and could be solved by the viewer. This was pretty much true but where this show fell apart was it's subplot which seemed poorly paced and half assed. The first mystery was fine but after that just when a mystery was about to be solved in would come Mr. M and his merry band of plot detailers to make a mess of things and kill people senselessly, and then they would leave and after some "oh where is the body" type conversations the show would go on as if none of that had happened. Oh a group of monsters and monster hunters just came through and killed half of your village and turned most of the women into mindless thralls, oh who cares there is a mystery that needs revealing. A disappointment but I'll probably watch a second season if it's ever made.
Otogi
　Mini Review: I feel like having different directors for each video with different styles kind of hurt this one. The songs themselves complemented each other both music and theme wise and almost felt like they flowed into each other naturally. The videos did not though which was a bit jarring. If it was me I would have just chosen a single director and made all four videos into a cohesive piece. That being said the songs were great as usually for Eve and the videos were also pretty good if taken on their own. Well except for the first, which seemed to be a throwback to his earlier videos, it felt lackluster and almost like a rough draft, the final video worked better in this regard for me.

　Mini Review: What a relaxing anime! I already love the old version of Bartender but prefer this remake since I want the story to focus more on Ryo since the older version makes me interested in him. I also love that they introduce his friends since the old version is more on episodic and client stories but this one is more on his journey. I also love the opening song, it's so relaxing. I'm not even a drinker but I'm curious about how they taste.

　Mini Review: Yamishibai never disappoint me this time. For this season, the stories are nice and the horror aspect is not strong but still creepy. I hope Yamishibai continues to create anime because I really enjoy it.

　Mini Review: This is one of the most interesting OVAs I've watched. I like the reverse isekai and the concept of what if the heroes isekaied into our world and try to live as normal citizens. Even though it took only 27 minutes, it captured my interest in how they will reform the hero into a normal civilian in our modern time. The siblings are cute together and the other heroes too like the princess and the witch.
Doraemon: Nobita's the Night Before a Wedding
　Mini Review: Doraemon is still the best as long as I remember. I really love Nobita and Shizuka together and seeing adult Nobita but still act as young Nobita is quite funny. I really like Nobita's personality here. He just shows how much he loves Shizuka and how he wants her to be happy. Also the scene with Shizuka and his father made me a bit emotional. Overall a cute and nice movie.

　Mini Review: I'm not really into the romance genre, but this OVA might change my mind. The story is so light and cute, with a cute misunderstanding between the 'couple'. Why didn't they make this a TV series and make it an OVA instead? I want to learn more about their story since the OVA only gives us a glimpse of how they met. If I have time, I'll watch their live-action series or read the manga.

Barakamon
　Mini Review: Barakamon is one of those anime that you watch after a long and stressful day to relax. There's not that much tension or action in it; it is about an aspiring calligrapher becoming down-to-earth upon being exposed to the happy-go-lucky nature of childhood. It's the type of wholesomeness that, due to the amount of demographics presented, makes it suitable for all ages to enjoy, truly broadening its appeal.
Show By Rock!!
　Mini Review: Pretty standard idol show. There isn't really anything that distinguishes Show By Rock that much from other idol shows. There is a bit of drama interspersed throughout, but in my opinion, it felt forced as a means for the anime to try and show that it's different from all the other idol anime because it has more drama between the characters. Unfortunately, the anime did not give enough ammunition for me to really care that much about the narratives being produced.
Suzume no Tojimari
　Mini Review: Many reviewers have criticized this movie as an example of Makoto Shinkai becoming repetitive, but to me, the movie indicates just why that formula works so much. Just like Shinkai's previous works, this movie dives deep into a theme of life and death, interspersing the dramatic supernatural with the mundane to really appreciate the resolution of the plot and the emotional depth that it brings. Combined with simply one of the best visuals I've seen in any anime, I definitely consider it a masterpiece, even if it is a bit formulaic.
Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike
　Mini Review: Speaking as someone who had no contact with the game in which this movie was based, I did find the setting and storyline to be very engaging. You do not have to have prior knowledge of the source material to enjoy this anime, as you can just appreciate it for the fantastic fantasy elements within, including stirring soundtracks and good worldbuilding to keep me engaged. The other characters besides the main cast could use some development, but overall, this is a very underappreciated gem of a movie.

Psycho-Pass 2
　Mini Review: Psycho-Pass 2 isn't all that bad, but that might just be because it's been a while since I watched the 1st season. The main issue I had was that the introduction of the new characters and their arcs seemed rushed at times, which made it not resonate as well with the 1st season. Despite this, I still enjoyed the action elements, especially in the earlier episodes, even if the story isn't as good, especially towards the end.
Sword Art Online: Progressive Movie - Hoshi Naki Yoru no Aria
　Mini Review: I have very mixed feelings about this movie. On the one hand, it helps flesh out Asuna's character more from her portrayal in the original anime, but at the same time, it still lacks a tangible characterization that had carried over from the original anime as well. The animation is definitely better than the anime, though, so I am ranking it higher than that, but it still feels disappointing.
Kaijuu 8-gou
　Mini Review: Kaijuu 8-gou is a weird mixture of Attack on Titan and Boku no Hero Academia, given its heroic quirks of transforming into gigantomorphs. Besides that, it is just your garden-variety shounen series. Besides this mixture, the characters and storyline aren't all too different from the standard shounen templates. I cannot name a single character in the sense that I could name characters in the two other series I just mentioned. I would suggest only watching if you're really into shounen and want to look at the action only; do not expect good character design here.
Spy x Family Movie: Code: White
　Mini Review: Code White continues the examples that make Spy x Family such an engaging series, with the dual storylines of family and action continuing to support the series. Indeed, the only reason why I didn't rate it a 10 like all the other items of this series is that the movie is technically filler, and thus, the comedy isn't quite as strong. At this point, though, it is nitpicking; if you liked Spy x Family, you'll still enjoy watching this movie.

Kuuchuu Buranko
　Mini Review: I honestly have no idea why I continued watching this anime. Sure, the avant-garde elements are decent, but the intentionally jarring animation that feels like a 2D persona's attempt at modelling the third dimension distracted me from really enjoying this series. I also feel like the series is trying to be funny, but it's really hard to laugh looking at the odd fetishes pictured via that odd animation. It's probably best enjoyed with LSD because otherwise, it's just not cutting it.
Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo
　Mini Review: This movie, while not Makoto Shinkai's best work, still carries the hallmark of what makes a Shinkai movie great. Namely, the breathtaking visuals, stirring soundtrack, and utilizing fantasy settings to examine the human condition are all there. However, Shinkai hasn't yet figured out at this stage how to create compelling characters in this movie, and so while the overall story and scenery looks fantastic, the characters aren't as inspired.
Vinland Saga Season 2: Drowning in the Shadow
　Mini Review: There really isn't that much to say, as this is a 2-minute extra scene taking place between Episodes 6 and 7 of the actual anime. It adds another flashback to Thorfinn, and both strengthen the initial story while also adding in some action that was not as prevalent in the second season of Vinland Saga. Nothing too big happens, but it is still productive to watch.
Vinland Saga Season 2: Same Old Story
　Mini Review: This is a short 1-minute scene that occurred between episode 18 and 19, where Ketil delivers a rallying speech leading to the start of episode 19. Unlike the previous short, this is a lot more important as episode 19 will start at the end of this speech. As such, it provides good context to the events of that episode, and the speech itself is dramatic enough for this to be worth watching, too.

AKB0048
　Mini Review: This is a very interesting premise of an idol show, as it essentially transplants its formula into a more sci-fi setting. That kind of creativity does help its charm, and I feel like it carries a Space Jam kind of vibe but uses the AKB0048 idols instead of NBA players. Unfortunately, in the actual idol scenes, the animation gives way to this weird, uncanny-valley 3D effect that does not sit well with me. Still pretty fine though.
Yuru Yuri♪♪
　Mini Review: The second season of Yuru Yuri continues the work of its first season as the premier example of the CGDCT genre, with some sapphic tendencies added, too. While the events in there are fairly low-stakes, it still remains a really good anime to relax and enjoy. If you like the first season of Yuru Yuri, there is no reason why you shouldn't watch the second season.
Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou
　Mini Review: The animation and soundtrack of this movie bring together a wonderful setting to immerse within, but unfortunately, Maboroshi suffers from poor characterization that would sink my rating. While I don't think it's bad enough to make the movie completely unenjoyable, there are various moments where you will grimace in wondering why the characters are the way that they are with no satisfactory reason to explain.

　Mini Review: Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san is another anime that fits the list of "generic romcom with a twist'. In this case, the twist is that the main love interest is Russian. While I do like her characterization enough to keep watching, I don't think this anime does enough to distinguish itself beyond its premise to earn a higher score than a 6/10.

　Mini Review: I'm so glad I picked this movie, otherwise I don't think I would ever have found it. I definitely loved the main character and think that if I was in that time I would do what she did. From the beginning I was hoping I wasn't going to cry and in a way I didn't but it was pretty emotional until the twist (which I was expecting). But immediately after watching this I just thought wow now I NEED to watch the second one.

　Mini Review: There was a certain concept that I liked about this show even if it wasn't meant to be that way. I liked how although Elaina was the main character, each episode even though we were following her she felt like the side character. Even if we were following her story it was really everyone else who were the important characters. And what a bummer that its been four years and there hasn't been a second season yet, being left with that cliff hanger like that. I liked how we didn't see just the growth of Elaina but almost everyone she met.

　Mini Review: You know what I was not expecting this to be a little bit of a tear jerker. This little red bean really has some big adventures and a life lesson. And compared to what I normally like, I liked having a different animation style, it was cute and really refreshes the idea of why I like anime so much. Obviously for the anime that it is, random funny moments in serious times is nice to lighten the mood.

　Mini Review: I thought that this was a randomly funny show. And especially the dub version really reminded me of the dub version of Ghost Stories. I am writing this two days after watching it, but I liked how I thought I knew the main character and then BOOM, she's not who she acts to be. I feel like there aren't enough shows where a woman character can scare people into following them, or I might just not be seeing them. But I definitely think that there should be more of them and not in the harem sense too.

　Mini Review: I may be dumb or something but I feel like I only found out that Abciee was a guy during episode 9, cieee. I liked how it mixed in just random absurd moments and some that could be heartfelt, cieee. There's nothing too special about it, but if you ever need something fast to watch this would be it, cieee. Abciee definitely had some creative ways of figuring things out, while being an adult but still acting like a child sometimes, cieee.

　Mini Review: Man I love watching 90's anime: they're for sure a different perverse compared to today. And there's nothing like the animation style, I could just watch it forever. Even in general the story telling for a story like this is different unlike ones for today. The main character ends up having someone he's crushing on until he meets a magical being and then either he falls in love with them or ends up helping them. Even the enemies are more focused on having a battle rather than getting their objective done. This ends up being an anime where you see very typical tropes, but to me they end up being funny even if I know what's going to happen.

　Mini Review: I had a certain expectation of what this anime was going to be before I started it. I thought it was going to be like the typical Alice in Wonderland movie I think almost all of us know but be an anime version of it. Nope... I was wrong. It does have some similarities, but the biggest difference is that all the characters are sexier versions of their counterpart male. As in all the characters are female! Even with the differences I did enjoy seeing a different version of a story I've watched, with a different countries spin on it.

　Mini Review: Wow, I really wanted to watch this anime just because of one scene. Apparently that was the last 10 minutes, if that, of the last episode and even then I don't think it was the same as what I saw originally. This show really starts off with how the rest of the anime would be. Still glad I watched it, and the rating suites it just cause there's so much blood and no nudity. But get ready for yakuza in the style of maids.

Heroine Tarumono! Kiraware Heroine to Naisho no Oshigoto
　Mini Review: Having an idol anime that mainly consists of a semi-outside perspective is a somewhat fresh take on the genre, but ultimately this is more or less just your standard Doing Your Best genki energy type of show. Because of the outsider dynamic it does lose a bit of its' own ability to center its focus, but it does a fine enough job with what it wanted to do anyway. Music by Honeyworks was good, at least in the sense that I can recognize that it's well composed for catchiness, but wouldn't be something I'd blast in the car.
Kaguya-hime no Monogatari
　Mini Review: Wonderful movie. As an adaptation of a folk tale it does wonders for expanding the concept into a two hour movie while also feeling like it's solely about the source material, for the most part. The storybook art style is truly one of a kind and full of personality. I do have one criticism with this movie, however: the last third of the movie sort of detracts from the patriarchal criticism that the movie was carrying up to that point, mainly through the addition of a certain character, but also through the adherence to the folk tale's ending.
Arata naru Sekai: World's/Start/Load/End
　Mini Review: Looking into things, apparently this is a piece of a larger media franchise that requires reading other pieces of media to actually understand what's going on in the story, which severely limits the accessibility of the story to someone like me, who only wanted to watch the 30 minute OVA. Regardless, what we have at least lays the foundation for something interesting, what with the world being caught in a day-long time loop and us following time travelers sent to the future past the loop. I was a bit caught off guard by how casual the group sent to the future took things, considering they're sent to the future for some broad undefined purpose and they just kind of treat things like an after school outing. Then someone breaks their phone that somehow breaks some sort of time cycle, I think? And then they're taken to a screening of a movie that looks similar but not to the events we just watched, or so I'm assuming. It leaves a lot of the pieces to understanding it out, which is what I'm assuming reading the rest of the franchise would piece together, but that's just not the work I'm willing to do to properly appreciate this.
Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon
　Mini Review: I can very much tell what kind of theme this show is going for: it displays the system of abuse that the main character has had to endure, and slowly allow them to come into themselves as a person with their own agency; all of this I see and appreciate. I don't even mind it being within the context of an arranged marriage, but even though the MC's arc is essentially her trying to be more like a yamato nadeshiko by her own means, it's still leaning credence towards the supposed importance of the yamato nadeshiko lifestyle, which feels off to me. As a whole, I think the flaw with at least this first season was that there wasn't enough establishment of the complexities behind the conflict, all we really have is cartoon villains who want to use her like a macguffin, savior factions who we automatically assume to be in the right, and the confusing alignment of a couple characters in the finale. This all to say, I think there's promise of something interesting here, but things could stand to be more dynamic, in my opinion.

Yuukoku no Moriarty OVA
　Mini Review: Glad I had the chance to revisit this series, as at least the first episode was worth watching for having a short mystery underlying it that made do for a single episode case that fits into a typical Moriarty arc. It also made sure to include the typical tiptoeing around the Sherlock v Moriarty rivalry into its plot. The second episode, however, was pretty much inconsequential filler, made annoying by the stereotypically 'head over heels' women.
Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song - To Make Everyone Happy With My Singing
　Mini Review: It's been awhile since I've watched this series, so it's interesting in retrospect that they essentially made a recap of the entire series immediately after the series finished airing and the story was shut closed and finished. Was nice to at least revisit some of the sakuga moments, but if I wanted to actually re-experience this, just rewatching the series probably would've served me better. Also wasn't a fan of Matsumoto providing commentary in a way to immediately undercut certain dramatic moments, but what can you do.
Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta... Voice Drama
　Mini Review: Sometimes you'll get a voice drama collection that ends up being a whole side story or a collection of side stories with variable amounts of unseriousness to enjoy, but this is not one of them. It's essentially all of the side characters reciting their story arcs from the childhood section of the series from their perspective, and as that's literally all there is to it, it was pretty boring and unmemorable. However, Catarina's episode being read by a vocaloid to represent the snake was unexpected, and gave me one chuckle.
Kimi ni Todoke 2nd Season: Minitodo Gekijou
　Mini Review: What I enjoyed most from this collection were the two stage play episodes revolving around Ume and Sawako, re-enacting a couple of fairy tales with Ume naturally assuming the role of the heroine and Sawako just trying her darndest. Things end up going awry in ways very true to these two characters' relationship, but with a bit more silliness to make the whole experience just a cute thing to enjoy. Then there's the third episode which surprises you with PS2 level CG, which is also paced and framed in a way I couldn't quite comprehend. I think the plot got kinda lost in that last episode, but besides that, this was good side content from the main series.

　Mini Review: When media try to tackle suicide, it often has to ride the line between being hamfisted in it's message or ignorant of it's topic, versus trying to convey something actually effective, and I think this manages to fit that line well enough. I really get the sense that it understands that the problems one may face that could lead towards ideation don't have clear-cut answers, and it manages to convey the different avenues on how to deal with that in such a short runtime. That said, it's short runtime also leads it to cover these themes in a pretty broad stroke, so it lets other avenues it could've explored with it's themes to be left vague.

86 Special Edition: Senya ni Akaku Hinageshi no Saku
　Mini Review: For being a recap episode released sometime between the release of the first and second parts, it does it's job. Was an adequate retelling of the story beats of that first season and giving a sense of the tone of that point in the series without really diving too much into some of the more important character dialogues, except when someone had something uber relevant to say. That said, I'm glad I rewatched the first season instead of watching this to recap myself for Part 2 when I got around to it last year, as it gave me a wider scope of the story than this recap episode could've.
Kuroko no Basket 3rd Season NG-shuu
　Mini Review: With the Bluray releases of Kuroko, there has been tradition of these little shorts of taking random scenes from the series, and spinning them into a random joke like it's a 'blooper'. The appeal of bloopers are often in seeing how actors might mess up a scene while in production, which can sometimes make for fun extra content for those who like seeing behind the scenes stuff. Here, it's not even that. It's moreso the characters themselves spinning the scene into a different direction that often hammers into a running gag that the series has already established. Since this series is in it's third season, these gags have gotten so flanderized to the point where they're not particularly funny at this point, especially to me since it's been a long time since I've actually seen the proper series. Not much else to say besides these are just a collection of nose-huff worthy cringe jokes that I can't be bothered to remember the context for.
Mechano: Scientific Attack Force
　Mini Review: To summarize the whole package, this was a combination of morbidly fascinating 3DCG and shock value as punchlines, often my favorite type of Scum anime. I think my favorite section though was the screensaver-esque music video in part 2, which was trippy enough to be a vibe, and was paired with that fascinatingly uncanny 3DCG that I actually liked. Part 1's 3DCG was also in the morbid fascination realm, leaning more into morbid, what with the annoying sfx as dialogue and the racist undertones. Part 3 was by far the worst with it's crude animation, worse than crude sense of humor, nonsense shock value plot, and some of the worst foley and dialogue recordings you've ever heard.
Gunjou no Fanfare
　Mini Review: Usually with this type of show that focuses on a specific sport, activity, or other niche, the story will be a vehicle for exploring the mechanics of the niche that the show is in focus of. Not so much here, instead we're given a few characters that have wildly unique and somewhat contrived reasons for being in this field. The few that the show chooses to focus on I felt like were odd picks in the sense that the circumstances of their being here were unique, but the drive behind those reasons felt lacking. For example, the main character we start with is a former idol turned jockey, and we don't get a real sense of why he's here besides 'he really really wanted to be a jockey', despite that why being a main source of conflict for an arc. Despite all this, I think it utilizes these character traits among the cast to create a satisfying experience for the rest of the show, but either letting these arcs have more time to breathe or shifting focus in certain areas could've helped for a more cohesive experience overall.

　Mini Review: you need the original tv series before watching this. not that this special is anything out of the ordinary for a special. a lot of slice of life/ ecchi stuff with the story being kinda boring and pointless. the plot for this special is basically non existant compare to the rest of the series and kinda repeats itself. i was used to the ecchi/gore parts of the show but this didn't have any gore or payoff from it at all. NOT RECOMMENDED
Asura
　Mini Review:The movie started with the standard "cursed child trope" that reminded my of dorororo/ne zha/uni-oh. but instead of getting shown a somehow human like character who get shunned by society they show a grotesque violent monster who adapts to eating human and lashing out in order to survive. unlike the other adaptations i think this is a kind of pointless adaptation with a lot less depth about being the outcast in a society and more of a poor attempt to show how bad humans can be.
Zetsubou no Kaibutsu
　Mini Review: let me start by saying the art for this movie is not good. this hasn't stopped me from watching and liking the story. its about a girl who discovers something wrong with her body and attempts to hide it. this is more of a psychological experience than the typical horror monster story. any more would spoil it, just give it a try.
Uramichi Oniisan
　Mini Review: as an enjoyer of gintama i love when comedy takes itself in a completely unexpected way to get the audience to laugh. this was no short of that. hitting little kids with the harsh problems of adult life. kids being innapropiate and tact-less to adult and making them question "why am i here". the voice acting in this show is superb and make me LOL every time a joke needs a little extra to land. this is not a kids show, it's a comedy close to shin-chan with 0 nude and toilet humor.

Osomatsu-san: Tamashii no Takoyaki Party to Densetsu no Otomarikai
　Mini Review: the movie start with a 10 minutes of uninterappted slice of life with a slight comedic tone about each of the sextuples. its quickly switches up to the main premise of the movie , the party. the whole movie is kind of repetitive and stuck in place and hasn't made me burst out laughing like some of the over specials. this movie is kind of a pass for me, not that worth watching

　Mini Review:how did i get to this side of the internet again. i'd say in most horror anime what makes it great are the moments of "silence". let the viewer imagine what will happend and keep sound to a minimum. this one is mostly silent with a lot of close up shots and unsetteling imagry carefully interrupted with songs and ambient sound. the only problem I have is not a lot happends and its mostly some slice of life sections. definetly has potential.

　Mini Review: reminds me a bit of shinkai makoto movies with the whole other worldly romance and all of that. the art in this one is nothing short of spactacular and the music compliments it so much. the setting about a parkour society in a destroyed tokyo was kinda neet and the cast was loveble. would have loved if it was longer.

　Mini Review: i was expecting some blatant attempt in product placement like with a lot of the the short food anime. but instead i got to experience a lot of nonsense fun about a war between soybean (?). i have no idea who came up with it but it was a lot better animated than i expected.

　Mini Review: magical girls advertisement for CARS?. not a lot of car content in this one. the story goes all over the place. i can barely remember the 1-dimentional after a day which is saying a lot. kinda cliche story and overall weird. maybe the tv is better but i doubt it.

　Mini Review: another short series suffering from poor writing. the dialouge is so bland and the characters are so 1 dimentional and unfun. the plot for each episode includes roaming around a school and some generic plotline including new characters almost every episode. this was definetly a boring one.
Kaichuu!
　Mini Review:I actually enjoyed this one a bit. a lot less ecchi than the expected crossdressing show with a bit of a relaxed take of romance. the comedy in some of the jokes really sold the show and I want to have more of this short series. archery in this show looks nice.
Nasu: Suitcase no Wataridori
　Mini Review: this is kind of a weird one having watched yowamushi pedal. the racing aspect is a lot more grounded and feel fast flowing. some of the fog and rain parts looks like a great direction to take the plot and the minor interactions between character make for a nice comedic effect. also they have something about eggplant , not sure what that is about.
Kono Danshi, Sekka ni Nayandemasu.
　Mini Review: out of the 2 kono danshi i saw and some other BL this is currently the worst. the art is badly made and the characters are so bland and lifeless. the story feels like it goes nowhere in a span of 20 minutes. spare yourself watching this and watch Mignon or the ningyo version.

　Mini Review: The theme of priorities in a story of the ambitious woman journalist. The shown cases are partly entertaining because of the secondary characters. Nevertheless it's worth to watch as a quite rare type of anime procedural.
Spy x Family Season 2
　Mini Review: There are less missions and more relationships between the main characters. It doesn't seem to have an effect on their personalities that makes most part of this cour to feel like a filler. I don't think it's a big problem of the show because of the comedy genre.
Spy x Family Movie: Code: White
　Mini Review: The movie capable to interest people who haven't watch the series and entertain fans. The first half contains similar gags and situations which can feel a bit secondary to original, and the second amuses with action and Anya's face animation. The plot looks similar to the cruise arc from the season 2, but the antagonist doesn't impress.
Tasogare Out Focus
　Mini Review: Interesting setting of cinema club and student hostel can engage viewers who are suspicious of the shounen-ai. However the melodramatic part feels rushed especially in the first two couples arcs. As a result the increase of storylines decreases the involvement.

Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!
　Mini Review: The plot about student council revival wasn't pretty interesting to me until the school fair arc goes. The lack of characters' charisma, that makes comedy part unmemorable, is supplemented with the obstacle that stimulate to follow the heroines to the end. Anyway if you like the humor and character design, this well-animated series is able to motivate to change life for the better.
Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!: Natsu da! Manabi da! Kyouka Gasshuku da!
　Mini Review: The summer special with basic summer activities, the only unusual joke is the repeated several times speech. It looks a bit calmer than the tv series and leaves space to think about the purpose of school summer vacation. In spite of a slightly different tempo it could be a fully fledged episode.
Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi
　Mini Review: The harem comedy visual novel adaptation that is extremely hard to watch. Neither the plot and humor nor the characters with their designs stand up to any criticism. I have nothing against such stories but you need to be an avid fan to watch it.
Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi: Kakaru ka? Gakuensai ni Koi no Hashi
　Mini Review: Preparing for school festival as a platform for fantasies of the main character. Dialogs are boring, fanservice is awkward and the comedy scene with kitten awakes shuny Azumanga memories with Sakaki-san (and it was not so appalling as the rest of the special). The reason to watch is just for ecchi harems farming.

Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou Part 2
　Mini Review: Always happy to return to G&P franchise - funny tank battles without history interpretations. Despite some kind of leapfrog in plot composition and less intrigue in the battle outcome this feature was a bit more exiting to me than the first part. The choice of jungles as battlefield and appearance of the cute "Australian" team as well as disciplined Chi-Ha-Tan somewhat diversified the action.
Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou Part 3
　Mini Review: A sequel for fans of the franchise: quite a good timekiller with some interesting findings in the battles and "Polyushko-pole" song.
I was especially delighted with the New Year's atmosphere and the winter itself.
Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou Part 4
　Mini Review: A good movie with constant intrigue about the winner. Even if you confidently predict one, the directing won't let you get bored.
Glad that the rumors about the exclusion of the "Pravda" team from the plot have not been confirmed.
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka IV: Shin Shou - Yakusai-hen
　Mini Review: This cour showed a real adventure on a heroic scope. Finally, there is a true meaning in the concept of "deadly dungeon", the monsters have become a real threat. Ryuu's character became more complicated, her flashback was interesting, but the rest of "harem" was comparatively boring.

　Mini Review: A surprisingly fine shounen-ai title, I wish it were more popular. The characters don't annoy with their looks or dialogues. There are a lot of references to history and mythology that can be confusing if you don't understand them. Nevertheless, the rather fascinating plot and intriguing riddles allow not to pay too much attention to it.
Honoo no Mirage: Minagiwa no Hangyakusha
　Mini Review: The sequel is viewed better than tv-series in some aspects. The plot is not so hard to understand due to the decrease of complicated terminology. However the story seems to be a bit more interesting in the prequel because of a more versatile consideration of cases.
ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka - Regards
　Mini Review: A good opportunity to learn about the events after the series, as well as to observe your favorite characters a little more. De jure, the OVA can be considered a fanservice, but it's done so well that I'd watch an entire series like that. Suitable for a break between mainstream/action/ecchi anime you don't want to see at the moment for some reason.
Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai: Nagisa ni Usemono Arite Senjin wa Enzen to [X] Suru
　Mini Review: Typical beach episode, but I've enjoyed watching pretty characters that I haven't seen a long time. This OVA mainly focuses on the characters Kominami and Kirisu, who are not given as much time in the series as the rest of harem. However, the events of the episode add nothing to their personalities. Rizu's bikini was the worst, Kirisu's one was the best - the only thing that can be said about this story.

"Oshi no Ko"
　Mini Review: I knew it was gonna be good even before I started watching it but god was it amazing. "Perfect Blue" is one of my absolute favourites and while this wasn't exactly the same thing it gave off a very similar vibe at times. The whole thing just felt right, nearly everything was on point aside from maybe a few imperfect nick-nacks here and there in terms of the sounds which were easily erased by the visual beauty. Those eyes are everything, I'd happily get lost in them. But I really hope this isn't setting up for incest... please... anything but incest...
Summer Ghost
　Mini Review: Found the movie to be relatable in my current situation. I wasn't to sure if I'd enjoy it at the beginning but as the movie progressed I started seeing myself more and more in the main characters. The resolution of it was also nicely done and quite thought provoking for me.

　Mini Review: No incest so far which is good but I do have this weird feeling that the very end of the season might be setting up for it, hopefully I'm wrong. I'd say the quality wasn't fully consistent through the season but the important parts were done really well. I'm actually starting to get more attached to some of the characters whom I really disliked at the beggining because the show handles developing characters very well. I don't quite understand the little creepy girls appearence but I'm guessing they'll ecplained it in season 3.

Ore dake Level Up na Ken: How to Get Stronger
　Mini Review: This is what is one of the most disliked things in anime : a recap episode. Now, I haven't yet quite finish at the time of writing this the TV serie but so far I found it pretty good. However, considering I'm watching everything within a short time period this makes this recap even less useful than it would normally be (though a recap 7 episodes in is already pretty pointless I'd say). It's also like almost every recap I know, a pale copy of the things it's summing up.
it's not terrible but that's mostly due to the quality of what it's summing up and while it does retake some of the cool scenes they are often shortened.
One Piece Fan Letter

One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase
　Mini Review: The summary talk about an original story but that's being quite generous. I really think the story of chasing the hat is just an excuse of show off the CGI, which also explain why there are so many various environment in such a short episode (the chase scene in the sea, the and between the iceberg, the fall in the underwater cave, the fight in the courtyard, against sea monters and on the volcanic island, ect).
That being said, the fight and chases were decently entertaining, the cgi wasn't ugly and even if it's an excuse plot, they at least made something out of it (even if the ending is very predictable). Overall, I found it fine but nothing special.

Ore dake Level Up na Ken
　Mini Review: I had heard about it and considering the score, I had somewhat high expectations (there has been time where I have really liked animes ranked 6.x or dropped 8.x so I don't always match with the average). But this one was indeed pretty good. Maybe the overall concept isn't that original (dungeons that appears, adventurer guilds, weak protaganist that gets a new power after nearly dying) but it is played pretty well and does have feel fresh. Also, it has giant monsters that don't look like CGI abominations like in many unfortunate cases. I have two small complaints that I don't really hold against it. The first is that it ends in a somewhat annoying place, it's not really a full cliffhanger but it's still during the setup of the probable next arc so, still not that great (but at least there is a new season going on right now, though I will probably wait for it to be over to not have to wait between episodes). The second is that I actually liked the MC's first third of the anime design more than his new one after his "transformation" (which is subjective, huh).

Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season
　Mini Review: So, I suppose as to be expected, it lived up to the hype and was pretty entertaining. I do think It was lucky I watched it after it was fully finished because this season only had basically two arcs : a 5 episode flashback and a 18(!) episode massive arc. It was pretty fun to marathon but I think it would have been a bit frustrating to have to wait a week between each part. I'm also impressed by the willigness to kill character or to apparently make a big story shift at the end (though, unfortunately, it does end on a cliffhanger). So yeah, the second season is a great follow up to the first one.
Warau Hyouteki
　Mini Review: I didn't really it. It wasn't the worst thing ever but I found it pretty mediocre. Despite being supposedly Horror, it's not really scary and just seems to pull out the standard cliche (window exploding in front of someone, a pet being killed, the villain always being hidden in the corner listening to what's happening). Oh and the random jerks attacking Akusa so she kill them is as pretty contrived way to introduce the evil spirits as well.
The final confrontation is meh, little explained about Azusa's situation except she might be possessed by hungry ghosts after being attacked earlier. And the whole thing about the photos of Satomi being slowly erased is very weird considering how useless it would be for Azusa to do that. And at the end, after Azusa litteraly turned into dust, it ends with yet another photo being erased. I don't know if it's supposed to mean she isn't actually dead or is one of those "Or is it ?" often used to end many horror stories after the evil is supposedly defeated but it just felt flat. However, it was meh before but this ending just makes it even worse.

　Mini Review: I know it's only a single 25 minutes episodes so there isn't much time but I still found the way the reveal about the "accident" years ago pretty over the top with the villains basically gloating about their entire plan in elaborate details and gloating about how dumb everyone is for 5 minutes while being eavesdropped on. The few fight scenes were also pretty short, even the battle with the dragon wasn't anything special.
With it's length, I know it probably couldn't have great long fights or more subtle way of revealing the truth, but still, that's kinda felt underwhelming. It's not boring or bad, just fine but not anything special.

Blue Period
　Mini Review: there's a lot to be said about a protagonist's ability to get absolutely overpowered in any action anime, and i feel like the same can be said for yatora in blue period. i love the idea of someone who had nothing to do with the art world getting into the top school for art in his whole country after only drawing/painting at all for only 2 years, but... it felt a little ridiculous as i watched this show. he starts off in his junior year of high school without knowing the fundamentals of drawing, and nearly masters it over the course of one winter and two summers. that said, yatora's insane growth is the only downside blue period has at all. the characters are all multi-faceted and intriguing, to the point that one season might've been too little to go into depth on any of them. i think this show would've benefited from another season, so viewers could see more of the dynamics between yatora, his friends from school, his art buddies, hia family, and yuka. the general art direction and animation seemed solid, nothing mindblowing other than for the amount of effort put into creating the art pieces showcased in each episode-- which was awesome. overall, i'd give bp a 7/10.

　Mini Review: i don't think i was able to connect with this anime because of how awkward it felt to watch as an adult. the characters themselves are flawed in ways that make sense for middle schoolers, and it has a lot of worth in it's near flawless ability to tell a realistic childhood romance story, but i can't say i enjoyed it much myself, personally. tsuki ga kirei is the kind of anime you have to watch when you're 13 years old and lonely, not as an adult with a life and responsibilities of their own. animation was nothing to bat an eye at, storytelling was good, characters were a little insufferable at times (but most middle schoolers are). 6/10.

Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto
　Mini Review: i'll be real. i'm not a huge fan of gag comedy in what should be serious situations, so a lot of scenes in zom 100 totally rubbed me the wrong way.. also, admittedly, i found the main character's personality a bit annoying (he came off as a 13y/o rather than a grown man in his mid thirties?) but i guess that's part of what makes a main character resilient enough to survive in a zombie apocalypse while being completely and gleefully oblivious to the deaths of millions around you? rather than the moral of the story being to resist corruption and abuse of power (as akira's storyline would imply) it comes off as just "have fun whenever" because of how everyone in this story behaves. i'm sure the manga did a better job at going deeper into their backstories and personalities, but it definitely wasn't for me. i also didn't like how the main antagonists (which are only introduced in like? the last 2 or 3 episodes?) seemed incredibly two-dimensional and shallow. the last episode tried to redeem the writing by giving them half-hearted backstories like being a loner, or some guy's wife not loving him, but those backstories don't correlate at all with their final decisions to burn and attempt to murder a whole town of innocents. it seemed like they were evil just to be evil-- at least, i know i wouldn't magically become a murderer after being a neet for 3 years. i think my greatest complaints about this show are probably just personal gripes since i'm not used to the genre, but as such my personal score would be a 4 or 5/10.

　Mini Review: Totally different perspective to evil and aliens, also the conquering the world. Being evil isn't real, it's hard job fr. But the comedy alas made with serious plot, ye It got me.
Komi-san wa Comyushou desu
　Mini Review: I really got Koe no katachi vibes from this. Thus, not being so absorbing it's pretty sure delivers some feeling, between romance and comedy scenes. But need to admit, didn't liked those prolonged senes, they felt forced.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
　Mini Review: Ugh. Saw multiple ompilations, spoilers, and really got some picture of it before watching, but felt little dissapointed while watching it. The art is nice for eye I really liked it, also some characters, but overal could have beter plot.
Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
　Mini Review: Damn brother, this was weird from the start. Watched it as a live meme, and whole anime looked like one from the start to near end. Who got idea of making it? But must say that ms president strugless holded me from not going insane.

Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo
　Mini Review: Beautifull. Really like folklore and beautifull stories around them. They create different world, and the one shown in this anime was for me more interesting that I could think. Death is a part of life, not it's end.
Ojiisan no Lamp
　Mini Review: Normal life of family, strugles and emotions, yes, definitely one engraved in my memory. Simplicity made emotions so clear I could feel them.
Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo
　Mini Review: Weel, this is something better than usual romance anime. I like the flow and our protagonist who do not want go with it. Seazon 1 passed but action is just starting. Bi this is good.
VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta
　Mini Review: Was suprised by the approach, but gave me some nice vibes. The concept was obvious, but form they presented it to us was both hilarious and interesting show. This is nice commedy.

　Mini Review: Didn't expect so deep meaning comming from it, but the message was clear, in a gray torn envelope. I take it as a slice of life, the one we will suffer. For the sci-fi anime it is pretty realistic of our possible future.

　Mini Review: Yes I was expecting full war/army lore. I like the way anime and plot is handled, also characters are good developed. Hard brutal reality, not only about war but also humans and they ugly nature. Yea, made me remember why I don't like ppl.
Ooyujiumi no Kaina
　Mini Review: Didn't expect that from it. The vision of world in distant future, reason why it ended like that and whole story got me hooked. Damn, shame it didn't lasted longer. Liked it very much. Nice sci-fi one, but more likely real life one.
Tenkuu no Shiro Laputa
　Mini Review: In this one I was really sure I watched it long ago. But when I actually saw it today I changed my mind. I love old animation style and those soundtracks. This is masterpiece, ya won't see nowadays something like that. Story is neat, there is plenty of room for imagination.
I'm little sorry for Uncle Pon, i maybe not that old but I understood him.

Arve Rezzle: Kikaijikake no Yousei-tachi
　Mini Review: Another short anime but very nice. I get the idea took from SAO series and it looked similar to in term of video world, game and accident with many thousands players beind killed or lost they souls. But still, it's nice short animation about feelings, searching for yourself. Liked it
Birthday Wonderland
　Mini Review: I like older productions. They have more simple and direct way of showing us the world and emotions. Slower peace and overal climat hey make around is simply nostalgic and unique. This anime have something from them thus being made only 6 years ago. The concepr of journey, fantasy world awaiting for adventure. I didn't liked animation in some complex scenes and the art is little off for me, but story is really nice to watch.
Look Back
　Mini Review: I was expecting some emotional story, and yes I received it. Simple animation with focused emotions of dreams, pursuit of them, friendship and pain. Another little piece of life lesson. Could show more about they friendship.
Aki no Kanade
　Mini Review: Our dreams and family expectations aren't always going along. But if something is important to us it's worth pursue it and work to archieve the goal. also it shows parents care about they child future. Father thinkinh only about being profitable to live, in some point forgot that life have more to offer. Also it's worth to mention this short anime was one of the four films of Anime Mirai 2015 (Young Animator Training Project).

Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou 2nd Season
　Mini Review: i definitely lost interest on this anime since its been years after ive watched season 1. there are two things ive seen in this anime got me wondering my life decision: THAT FISH LOOKS UGLY HAHAAHAHAAHAH and TOO MUCH HAREM (although i dont really mind watching harem). the only episode i was interested in was ep 11, thats all.
Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu
　Mini Review: my first impression of the mc was... a stalker??? nevertheless the whole anime was very sweet, not to mention their height difference (the first thing i notice lol). to be honest, i actually find this a little cringe so i skipped some part... :|
Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu
　Mini Review: in the beginning all i see was a girl who is obssessed with a boy, but eventually the story became more and more enjoyable. also, the cat was so adorable ( one of the reason why i gave it a 9 :D ). in the end, it was satisfying and i also really enjoy the art as well.
Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita
　Mini Review: i continued to watch this after taking a break from anime... to be honest, this pretty much dissapointed me because i thought this would be way more interesting (or maybe i just dont have the feelings to watch this kind of things right now). And most of all, i actually like how they also have the brother and sister relationship and the romance one.

　Mini Review: its too short for me but it did gave me a great watching experience. The story feels kinda sad and it could have been better if there were more character and their story. honestly i would give it a 7.8 since i really like the concept of Bug Man and Memory Collectors.
Yuukoku no Moriarty OVA
　Mini Review: its been years since i watched this series, i really thought i would be boring because i lose interest very quickly, but it turns out to be as interesting as ive watched before (thank god). i really miss seeing all the characters again especially william :D . i was really confused when i start watching this because of how strange the timeline was, well i didnt really think much about it.
Jidou Hanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyuu wo Samayou
　Mini Review: it wasnt as bad as i expected, just a bit weird. the idea of reborning as a vending machine is pretty interesting ignoring how he also sells weird stuff. im kinda disappointed because i didnt get to see the MC return back to human ;-;

　Mini Review: i didnt notice the bl tag... i was so shock after seeing that one scene (that blue haird guy '-'). my head was screaming 'WTF' and i was still watching it. it was confusing for me at first, but it was still a great anime to pass my boredom, thank god i didnt drop it. the whole anime just feels... gay? it has that vibe so...

　Mini Review: the songs are really amazing i like the ed the most (i cant even get myself to skip it ;-;). additionallly, yui's personality really heals me in some way, the whole show is filled with positive vibe. i wanted to give a 7 at the start but i changed my mind and gave it an 8 for how incredible this show was.

Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto (PW 1/12)
　Mini Review: this was crazy as hell but HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THE NAKED GUY IS HILARIOUS. i like how this anime potrayed how every character deal with the same situation. Another things is, i like how colourful (the blood .-.) it is, it definitely make the whole entire anime feels ?free. i did dropped this anime after watching the first episode because i was not really into zombie apocalypse thing, however now that i continued it i definitely enjoy watching those hilarious scene.

Akuyaku Reijou Level 99: Watashi wa Ura-Boss desu ga Maou dewa Arimasen
　Mini Review: I really hate those misunderstood situation at the start, but it actually turn out okay after like halfway through the anime. and the most important thing, the interaction between yumiella and patrick are so cute omg, i actually prefer this kind of romance over the others. even tho this anime was fun and all, but some parts did make me tear up ;-;
Houkago Shounen Hanako-kun
　Mini Review: uhh... it was nice to watch this especially after a few years of watching the main series, really happy to see all the characters. the characters are so adorable especially the mokkes aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa so cute!!!! i really want to watch season 2 right now after finishing this but sadly i still have to wait.
