 Advertising company CyberAgent opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Tatsurou Suga's Ballpark de Tsukamaete! (The Catcher in the Ballpark!) manga on Thursday and revealed the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.Fairouz Ai (Chainsaw Man) and Satoshi Inomata (Tsurune) are starring as Ruriko and Murata, respectively. | @RobertBobert If it's anything like this show https://myanimelist.net/anime/37890/Oshi_ga_Budoukan_Ittekuretara_Shinu?q=budoukan&cat=anime, baseball is probably going to be explained and a secondary but existing focus of the show. Since there's nothing about romance in the tags, if MAL is correct with it, I'm going to guess that he shows up often, she comes up to him, and they speak about life and the game, talk about the plays and the players, that type of stuff. All hypothetical, and not sure how that would work, but that's what I imagine. |

| @RobertBobert Not just about it, but yes, a strong emphasis on it. Not necessarily romance, maybe friendship, but it would be abnormal for it not to develop into romance these days. |
