 The official website of the Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima Datta kara Mahou wo Kiwametemita (I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic) television anime revealed three new cast and a key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime series adapting Nazuna Miki's adventure fantasy light novel will begin airing on TV Tokyo and BS Fuji in January 2025, among other channels.Cast Scarlet: Shizuka Itou (Yuru Camp△) Raymond: Takehito Koyasu (Isekai Suicide Squad) Mysterious Girl: Rie Kugimiya (Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru) Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick) is directing the anime at Studio Deen and Marvy Jack. Tatsuya Takahashi (Saihate no Paladin) is handling the series composition and Midori Ootsuka (Kamen no Maid Guy chief animation director) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is composing the music. Miki (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu) began penning the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2019. TO Books published the first volume under its Bunko imprint in February 2020, featuring illustrations by Kabocha. The eighth volume shipped on March 15, with the ninth volume planned for an October 19 release. The series has a cumulative 800,000 copies of its volumes in print. Rio Akisaki began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Corona magazine in February 2020. TO Books released the eighth volume on March 15. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release on January 19 and April 5, respectively. The second light novel volume went on sale on July 5, with the third volume going on sale on Friday.
