| 193 cm (6'3") is top-percentile tall for female humans on a global level, let alone for Japan. It's not realistic to expect very many of them to show up. If you want stories with tall female characters, absolute height doesn't really matter as much as relative height, compared to other characters. Risa Koizumi from Lovely Complex is a "mere" 172 cm (5'7"), but looks and is treated as abnormally tall, and encounters challenges because of her height. How is this cheating? Seems more like a majority of Users fascination for tall females in Anime stems from just females with long looking legs. Not like I would be complaining. Reminds me of the attraction I had as a teenager when one of the 1st girls I dated in high school was almost as tall as I was, me being 188cm. Even dating a girl in high school as tall as 185cm has extremely long legs to someone who is 188cm tall. The type of girl who can wrap their legs around you twice. lol |

| @TheDarkLordOtaku Regardless I don't think the actual size number matters much to viewers, it's really the perception of appearance. One could put both Yuu Takeyama and Diane side by side together standing in front of a blank background and they would both simply look like any normal sized Anime girl. Then on another spectrum of the fictional Anime world you got characters like Saya Kisaragi who is 5'7" (170cm) tall, who would look taller than both Yuu Takeyama and Diane if put together with them simply because of her long legs.   Just like some people go about saying age is irrelevant in fiction, so is a characters height. lol |
