| NGE is what got me finally into anime and i watched in 2002, lended the whole dvd box from a buddy. but thats now the first time i watched anime. There was a tv channel that had anime night once a week and they aired a bunch of old anime movies and some series like X and such. |

| Long time can't remember my exact age but I grew up around pokemon, gundam wing, Tenchi muyo, DBZ thanks to toonami back in the day. My first exposure to feature length anime movies was when I watched ghost in the shell with my older cousin, that movie changed everything for me from that day forward. |

| I learned what anime is when the Hetalia anime adaptation was announced. I had been ravenously reading Hetalia scanlations for months at that point. That production announcement rocked my world. | I've been a fan of anime my whole life. Of course that was via shows that aired on TV. I only started to seek anime outside TV in 2009 or so. I guess you can say that's when I became really into anime. I watched number of shows between then and creation of my MAL account, but I don't know the exact number. It has to be said that before I made the account I mostly watched your popular action shows, so stuff like OP, Naruto, Bleach, FMA, HxH, AoT, One Punch Man, Kuroko, Claymore, Tokyo Ghoul, etc. So depending how you count it's 8 or ~15 years. |
