A.I art is the equivalent of cutting out letters from a magazine and sticking them together to make new words. The "dream anime" of anybody whose imagination can be adequately represented by such a medium will be trash. Would you read the dream novel of a dude who wrote it by shaking a box with different sentences in it and then sticking the ones that were "good enough" together into a book? If I want soulless, corporate swill disguised as art I'll just read one of those mass produced battle shonen or isekai.

It really shows that you know too little about actual image generation with your own PC, it's not like using that one popular service where you click one button on site and then wait for a miracle - needed image from first attempt. You know, you may actually fully control composition and poses in the same way all these artists do themselves, or you maybe think that each anime or cartoon made completely from a scratch? Actual artist could and should use AI image generation since he or she can easily edit a complex generated image which was made for few seconds. Artist could create a basic sketch and in image-to-image mode make finished art. Technically it's possible to made the whole manga page with separators at one time. And by the way there are a lot of authors of VNs or web manga which has very poor drawing skills but still can draw something basic, these people may use image generation too for a drastic quality boost in image-to-image mode by converting their won images to something more quality. Same goes for professionals, they could design their own characters and draw them from all angles and then train a special mini-model LORA which will generate any images in chosen pretrained style. I bet that characters from Genshin Impact and other games from that one game developer were actually generated by AI since it was a thing for corpos long before official reveal of technology.

I understand your sentiment 'Meh, AI generated conveyor' but you said it yourself that there are already mass production of generic battle shonen or isekai. But they are not so bad in terms of art, but in terms of basic concepts or plot and characters.

Also I'm thankful for Ai giving me what I want for free and artists not being able to rip me off..

Give that a watch and come back and tell me a work has inherent value just because a person made it. "A.I bad" does not prevent generic trash anime from being generic trash anime.

Now i'll give you another mindblowing fact, bad products being made is not exclusive to isekai and battle shounen, you'd think it's just common sense to figure out that in a medium with 10s of thousands of products not every single one of them is gonna be top notch

Everyone knows posts made on anime forums are absolute statements, I should have been more considerate of the feelings of battle shonen and isekai and not used them as the example of mass produced mediocre anime even though they make up the overwhelming number of those.

Anime is too complex, I would prefer to make a VN with AI generated images, nobody will see much of difference then. Since I can't draw at all the AI image generation is a greatest thing to me. Actual artists which are stubborn and hate blindly AI technologies will lose eventually to artists which use AI in their work.
