 The official website of the Yarinaoshi Reijou wa Ryuutei Heika wo Kouryakuchuu (The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor) television anime unveiled a pair of additional cast and a second character promo on Friday. The television anime is scheduled to air on Tokyo MX and other stations on October 9.Shunichi Toki (Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun) and Yuka Nukui (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) are joining the cast as Gerald and Sphere, respectively. Kentarou Suzuki (Baraou no Souretsu) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. Atsuo Ishino is handling the series composition, and Sana Komatsu (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 3) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Sarasa Nagase's fantasy romance novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019. Kadokawa began publishing the title under its Beans Bunko imprint in March 2020, featuring illustrations by Mitsuya Fuji. The sixth volume went on sale in April 2023, with a side story volume shipped on February 1. Comp Ace magazine serialized a manga adaptation by Anko Yuzu in July 2020. Kadokawa released the seventh volume on July 25. Cross Infinite World licensed the light novel in English in December 2022, with Yen Press licensing the manga in February 2023. The fourth light novel volume went on sale on May 31, while the fifth volume is scheduled to go on sale on August 30.
