Any reason why the series still isn't listed as ended on MAL?

10/10 last chapter. I loved that Horikoshi did an epilogue for this series. I wish a lot of other series' didn't end so abruptly either.

8/10 overall for me. This manga had a lot of really cool moments but also a lot of cringe. But I think the highs outweigh the lows in the end. I can't wait to see this animated.

@phantom346 of course you can like the ending if you want to, but is it really a 10/10?

MHA is the most solid 7/10 shounen I can think of. It has its highs and lows, but it never truly achieves any real *bad* moments in my eyes, and its peaks more than make up for it. When this series began, I thought it would have ended up being as long as Naruto and Bleach, progressing through each year of U.A. Especially with the Overhaul arc, I thought that was a clear sign that there'd be arcs focusing on other major villains besides Shigaraki and AFO. I think Hirokoshi thought about this, but diverted away once he realised how big of a task that is. I know the relationship between AFO and OFA was always the central focus, but he could have kept AFO in prison for longer and created more villains to team up with Shigaraki. The third years and students from other schools could have been used more proper then, instead of shoehorning them in for a couple pages in the final arc. If he knew this was going to focus on one school year, a lot of the fluff should have been cut out in the middle and more streamlined, making the series better as a whole. Nevertheless, MHA is still good, I just wish certain characters and relationships were fleshed out more. Mirio and Eri feel pointless, and Deku and Ochaco should have spent more time together. I still liked the ending though. People can complain that IzuOcha wasn't officially confirmed, but they're only 24 at the end. They're both still young and clearly want to focus on their careers, and that goes for the rest of the cast too! In the end, the series has fun characters, cool powers, good arcs and a fitting ending. I think this was handled a lot better than Naruto and Bleach's anyway.

I finally finished reading this series.

Pretty chill ending with a time skip to see what the heroes have become when they grow up.

And like this MHA ends after a decade of serialization. Horikoshi definitely got burn out so at least now he can get some rest and take better care of his health. It's a shame that MHA is finished but it was time. The ending didn't go at all as I had expected, wish we got to see a bit more of Deku's personal relationships but either way it was a fun run!

I'm left satisfied, good conclusion, great climax, excellent art all the way through.
Everyone looks so happy, Lemillion is finally number one, Mirko still punches high (based), Deku can now teach the next generation. It's all so nice. I'll miss MHA, this chapter in particullar could have been better, but I'm expecting more from the epilogue in the final vol. I imagine Horikoshi is tired, must rest before delivering. Thank you.
