| My brother in Christ what the f... is this episode. It's like whole anime is 7-8 for me, and then episode 12 drops in with "ohh hold my beer". It definietly should have been the first episode of season 2... Jesus... Just because of this episode, the season score goes stright to 5. And should you know, 5 is the lowest I have ever given to anime, that's where low quality hentai usually reside... Beat that, I'm so angry about episode 12 I actually posted on the forum to comment on that first time in my life. |

As someone that doesn't know anything about the light novel for me this was good,I don't understand what u guys mean by the pacing it wasn't the best but it wasn't bad ,one thing I really liked about it is that the FL was actually strong and has an important role and is not a damsel in distress she,it was actually quite the opposite which u hardly see and the romance was not drag for like forever like the episode of her realizing her feelings fro him they didn't drag it they actually told her straight to our face, and no outlandish fan service
| @Vicky9anime When I tried watching this last year, I was bewildered by the events in Episode 6. Now that I'm reading the novels as I am watching, it is clear to me. The anime episodes are more like cliff notes to how the LN presented them. They're okay but not as great compared to the novels. Season 1 should've had 24 episodes, because 1 anime episode covered 3 chapters of the LN and sometimes omitting a chapter or two. The author of Re:Zero praises this much in the end pages of volume 3. For me, if Madhouse adapted this, it would have been worthy of being given the same level of animation as Frieren. |

| I loved this except for the end, a complete reset after a silly random event. I was prepared for a bad ending, but not when they were cleaning out the storage room, full of dangerous and possibly harmful magic items. still the show has a great atmosphere and a sweet romantic side. |
