| :l What a bittersweet chapter. Shiho dies, but Goomoonryong finally got to nail that bastard; looked like a TKO to me. Hopefully some major whoop ass is opened in the next chapter. Still waiting for Shin to participate in this battle royale. |

| Not happy with Shiho's death. I knew it was coming due to reading a spoiler, and - having read that spoiler - I found myself waiting for the crazy, glasses-wearing guy to walk up the stairs, shoot his gun, and hit her. The worst part of her dying is that, like has been said elsewhere, her character has been turned into a plot device. Chun will get a power-up and beat the shit out of everyone out of rage in the next chapter, and he'll also probably turn out to be the final boss for Shioon now--him having lost both his master and love; leaving him with nothing but hatred for the world to drive him. It's all far too predictable. On a more general note, the series was great when it was like a Korean GTO with some martial arts nonsense mixed in. With Shiho also being around for both service and comedy, the series was an easy 9/10 and, at a stretch, a worthy 10/10. But ever since the bullying/school side has been left behind completely, Shioon has turned into fucking Naruto - always getting up, no matter what, and having an endless stream of energy - and the non-stop fighting has taken away from the intensity; making the series very dull compared to the earlier chapters. With Shiho and her playful antics now also removed from the picture, The Breaker has gone from a 9-10/10 to an 8/10 at best in my mind. Next time someone starts a story like a foreign version of GTO, please: STICK TO THE DRAMA AND DON'T FOCUS 100% ON SHOUNEN FIGHTING SILLINESS. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. |
