Looks solid although I wish I saw more with the PV (but I can lowkey understand not showing too much since you want to avoid some amount of spoilers with the latter half of the cour). I did like how the PV showcased almost a timeline kind of feeling with Rudeus and Sylphie's journey in those few seconds with really nice music in the background. Also just reminiscing on old times looking at that PV and KV, especially since the main series just recently finished all its volumes officially in English. Excited to see how this cour is in April.

@animejas Can't wait to see volume 12 in anime and yeah it's better they don't show much from the later half of the series.

Director Change. New director Ryuoske Shibuya, who is much more experienced than the sob that directed cour1. But it's still too early to judge. I say wait till the Anime Japan since they have announcements there too.

Also saw on X and the MT website that there is a new director in Ryousuke Shibuya. He was the episode director for ep 7 I think of the previous cour and it was great execution-wise. I'm not too sure how it will change things but hopefully it is a move that will work out.

I just checked out Ryousuke Shibuya. I wont say I'm particularly pleased as I was badly expecting Manabu Okamoto to return. But I did like the Strongest exorcist in another world which was directed by this person.

he has done many things, check his info on Anime News Network. He also directed ep 7 and 12 of s2, which were very good.. I don't think Okamoto, Hiroyuki Takashima, Ryo Imamura, Kazutaka Sugiyama are going to be involved in MT anymore. Okamoto was never that much of a key player, it was Shingo Fuji and Kazutaka Sugiyama.

Really like that they showed how much Aisha and Norn have physically matured since the last time we saw them.

Hmm interesting... Coz from what I heard, Okamoto was pretty passionate about this project and personally scripted and storyboarded the season 1 along with directing it. Ive seen people who worked in season 1 credit him as the person behind the made up languages.

Also, we need a producer who's capable of getting good people into the project. Season 2 Cour 1 lacked that and the show was mostly carried by people who still cared for the series. Its disappointing that had to happen, but the corporate world is just cruel!!

Not sure about Shingo Fuji, But I see Kazutaka Sugiyama credited as a design coordinator for some of the episodes from previous cour

I meant on Production side of things. Okamoto deserves every word of praise for his passionate work in s1. Kazutaka Sugiyama is credited because he made the characters designs before leaving the project. He was supposed to be in s2 but he dipped after he heard CSM is getting anime 🤣. As for a good producer we can only hope for Fei-Hung to get his buddies as well. But I trust Qkawa and Fei-Hung. Fei-Hung brought Nonno, Liam Cheng, Hanwe Ye, Haojon Zhou and best of them all Nothing Yukun into JJK.

@V1P3R0P I think he's credited because He had already made S2 character design sheets which they used in S2
