| Personally I didn't know there was such game till I watched HnG. After being fan of it, I searched for someone to teach me go but there were no such person around;) Since I hate playing such games online, my go plans are on-hold for now. Is there someone who play go here? I'd like to hear about it if possible^^ |
| I used to play go sometimes but I haven't played for so long, completely forgot what it was like :) Yes that's true. But Hikaru no Go was so amazing that I want to start playing again! |

| I started playing go after reading the manga. Now I joined a go club in Leuven and going to tournaments. It's become a nice hobby and I bought a go board to and try to learn people how to play go. I still don't really like to play it online. but to become better at it playing online is a good way (even though sometimes you get wiped away by some way to strong player, lol). |

| The manga was really inspiring. At first when I realized that go was 'that board game with black and white stones played by old people' I was thinking that the manga would be horribly boring like its real-life counterpart. But when I started the manga I couldn't stop. Go is an incredibly addicting game yet very difficult. Now, I'm learning go from a friend's dad who is actually a 6 dan! Hikaru makes it seem so easy! |

| @Miarusk, i know this is a little late lol but thx! it is by far my fav avatar...i even have it on my msn and while im chatting to someone ill randomly say outta nowhere 'Go Hikaru!!' lol i get some of the strangest replies, its pretty funny. |
| I watched the series first time when I was only 10 or something but the next time I watched it (15 maybe) I really got intrested int he game and read some tutorial from the net and then played it a bit online, but I'm not too good at it. My brother bought the board and stones so I play it sometimes with him. |
| When I was about 7? But only cus my parents made me but I stopped for violin lessons. Not much better than a beginner I'm afraid but still, I loved (still do) this series. Lost count of the times I've re-watched it =P |
