THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

Ugh... somewhat OK, somewhat not OK. I'm going to give it a 7/10 nevertheless.

I don't think it's actually over... Namely, because of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ai_Kora

Supposedly it ran 12 volumes originally, but has been republished and been going since 2008. So it's ongoing, I guess?

Just as expected ending, not stellar but fits for the manga. Glad to see it all over though.

The ending could have been better. I loved it a lot but the ending disappointed me. I'm ok with the Harem part as it was always hard for him to give up on his parts love but that going to england thing went over board. They could have made him return to his hometown etc

But anyways a great series ended. Looking forward to more of this mangaka's works

I agree that the manga had rot, this thing should have ended in about 80 chapters. Getting that upset over the actual very end to an already ridiculous manga is dumb though.
Elsewhere, a somewhat startled Warren Worthington III finds that he has accidentally wandered into an electrified east-side world of post-twist teens and watsui-ing teeny-boppers...

although it was a long trip to get here, we finally come to the end of hachibe's parts love....I loved the ending

my thoughts exactly....how many harem endings get as good as this! usually you either have a School Days ending or no ending at all

plus love Maeda's scruffy hair look at the end....makes him look wild and don't blame all that many women chasing him at the end

8/10

finally a harem manga where the main protagonist ends up with more than one girl!
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

Glad it was finally scanlated. It took forever for those releases to come out.

I thought it ended pretty well. Wanted a kiss at the end, but it was still a nice ending and i don;t know about others, but this definitely did not seem rushed. I thought the manga progressed quite smoothly till the end.

I'll give the ending an 8/10 since i really wanted a kiss. lol

And I think we've got a new record for the size of a harem. No wonder it took the guy 4 months to get back.

Thought it was a nice confession. And lmao when she struck Hachibei with the tree.

Where should I start, the manga was alright. The only thing that kept me from leaving was the occasional amusing exaggeration in character behavior. Although they had a very good opportunity for an alright ending they pulled the crap with the airplane and got me extremely disappointed. Meh..

Although my score may be a bit higher than most, I’m sticking with a 10 for this manga. While it's certainly no masterpiece, (far from it in fact), there’s only a handful comedy mangas I’ve found to be as genuinely funny and as enjoyable as Ai Kora was. It ended as it began, (quite literally), as a funny, light-hearted manga and like Kazurou's other works, (such as Minori no Hibi), something that that you could just sit back, read and enjoy.

It shall be dearly missed!

(Sigh).... well guys this is it. For the people who've been following this patiently it was a bittersweet good-bye. The ending was hilarious and as outrageous as most of us are accustomed to seeing. Would have been better with a kiss but I really cant complain. Ive enjoyed the ride. as its really sad to see one of my first mangas completed.

I can't believe it's finally over tbh. Ending was okay- definitely consistent with the series, I think I just would've liked something with a bit more emotional draw though.

Yeah.... but it is Ai Kora we're talking about here. That's as emotional as its gonna get. Rather this than a To-Love-Ru ending any day.

Too bad it wasnt great overall story wise. But the ending had some sort of magic. The whole serie was really random....so is the ending.

And it the way Sakurako said her line.. " I will watch you with these eyes, these eyes you love." That was a nice line xD.

But, it isn't on par with Love Hina, that had more story in it. And much more background imo x3.

Got a nice curvy 8 < CURVEY'S <3 >

Towards the end the scenes prepared for the end of the series... which was rly good I think

Problem is the last few pages of the last chapter was...so strange. When did he suddenly place parts love above love again?

Ending was so-so. The buildup was all good until that plane part..

8/10, I really enjoyed this manga for its easygoing humor.

probably was a bit sad when they all left him, and was married or had a boyfriend. but all the funny things that happened around him. damn was in and suffocate in my smoke and coffee with laughter. damn funny, 10/10 from me. anyway I violated it took too long time for Hachibe and Sakurako finding properly together. would definitely read it again if I feel depressed and lacking something to laugh to: D GT (google translate)

It ended with Hachibei's harem being larger than ever before, which was good, as well as the added romance. My only complaint would be that Kirino was a much better match for Hachibei. Their relationship was certainly deeper than what he and Sakurako had going, and they got along much better. I found it cute how she jumped in as soon as Yukari and Ayame started to appeal to his parts love...

Long live Maeda Hachibei. You may have lost Tsubame-Sensei, but I'm sure there's at least one woman in that harem you amassed during your four month-long absence that can replace her...

I thought the ending was a bit on the silly side, but the drama was getting a bit thick so I forgive the mangaka. I think Tenmaku's confession was too rushed, it should have occupied a page by itself!

Fun little manga all in all.

Meh.. all that drama with Tenmaku only to end up with him cheating on Tenmaku again and we were told that his love for Tenmaku supposedly surpassed his love of parts. Was going to give this a 9 but the last 2 volumes were disappointing and only one kiss between the OTP. 7/10 then.

Absolute garbage
First half of the manga was really funny and enjoyable...but then that garbage chapter 61 happened where it ruined everything
This manga was good when it wasn't taking itself seriously...the moment it decided to try to take itself seriously it failed...seriously you do not get to change the rules of the whole manga so abruptly especially the way this manga did it where fucking Hachibei dreamt he was kissing Tenmaku and he suddenly was "falling in love" and kissed her for no reason
What is so good about Tenmaku anyways? She's so boring and so annoying(so fucking annoying)...it's just because she's the main girl/tsundere right

Add to that he didn't have any real chemistry with Tenmaku at all...hell he had way more chemistry with Kirino(best girl...she's a bamf who's just doing her fucken thing)

Not to mention it was borderline ripping off Love Hina in the 2nd part with all the stupid chase sequences
Ugh...why did it have to turn into this cliche harem nonsense
Everything since chapter 61 it's just the author using every fucking cliche in the book just because he wanted to milk this shit
It's a fucking damn shame since this author has some talent...but he decided to turn the manga in this preachy garbage nonsense

I fucking hate it when Mangaka's pull this shit

Pretty good ending to this series. I wish that all of those girls didn't come and wish Tenmaku and Hachibei have had a nice moment together alone. I would've prefered that.

I love that Hachibei defeated that arsonist the same exact way in the very first chapter.

Sucks that Yukari didn't end up with that dojo guy. As a matter of fact we don't know what happened to him.

Finally Tenmaku was able to tell him that she loves him!

"I'll keep watching over you with these eyes that you love! From now until forever!"

8/10 for being a fun, enjoyable ride that made me laugh many times. I just wish there was more progression.

I'm not sure but was this a harem ending? I don't think it was but I can't help but feel a little like that.

Now that I finished it, how the hell did I discover this manga? I wonder.

When harem started crumbling I was honestly worried. It's one of few stories where I preferred harem ending over one girl. I guess that ending is good for me.

Personaly I think the "No real ending" end was a bit of a let down...
