DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- i think this episode was not bad. kei was cute when he was jealous as hikari was kinda in quite a good term with this other guy XD. i like the part when kei & hikari's hands were handcuffed together during a fight. kei was sweet! he protected hikari. ^ ^ |

| Yes, we can smash a few meters of bricks but OH NO! HANDCUFFS! WE ARE UNDONE! it certainly would have been clearly impossible to break the cuffs before the fight. also congratulations to Kei for managing to be in the way all the time, perhaps it would have been sweeter if he had stuffed hikari into a cage and never let her out, surely she would be safer that way. There is no point protecting someone who doesn't need protection, especially if you do it in a way that causes trouble for everyone. |

| I agree with "meh". Gee... he antagonizes her for most of the episode and all of a sudden gets really heated up when someone else does it and then basically declares that she's the best person ever... um, was I really watching the second episode? Or did I just watch the first episode again? I'll give it a couple more episodes to pick up. But I'm not feeling too optimistic. |

| It was okay. I'll probably watch this series to the end, but it's really not that great. The tournament was somewhat ridiculous, and the "touching moment" between Hikari and Kei wasn't touching at all. It was corny and made me laugh. XD It really has the potential to be good, I think, but something's missing. I don't know what, but it's just... lacking that something. *coughs* Okay. I'm not making any sense, so I'll just leave it there. |

I feel that the first episode was better. lets see, what else? kei is cute when he is jealous x3 and he did a lot of unnecessary stuff in this episode, and he will probably continue for the whole series. hikari just keeps reminding me more and more of tenma from school rumble. .. and cant wait for the next episode as well for hoping that it will be better edit: oh and! hikari looks so cute when she smiles x3 her smile kind of reminds me of otani's from lovely complex |

| This was way to over dramatic. The episode started out pretty good but then went downhill after the challenge was made. Why is it that every competitor that goes against S.A has to resort to dirty tricks? I find that the stupidest part of this series. S.A is like a group of people that know how to do everything where as the whole school is full of idiots that cant even compete...I honestly cant see how this series is gonna be any different then the past two eps we've seen. Nothing but over dramatic competitions and hints of romance that lead nowhere. |

| i actually liked the first episode SO much more than this. Kei went overboard with the whole melodramaticness of the match. yeah, i love my drama , but it was a little rediculous. his voice also seems really odd to me at some points. right now i'm loving the side characters more than the main guy. main girl is a little ditsy but good. this wasnt so good, first one was much better. i'll keep watching it though. :P |

I agree... He's trained with her and everything, so he knows she can handle herself... But besides that, he just stood there and took hits... He was really weird, too much Drama.. |

| my mouth was dropped at how stupid it was. the gym was about to collapse but he just stood there taking kicks and then once an insult came he decided it was time for the handcuffs to come off. to me it doesn't even deserve a meh. the first epi was good, but if its rinse repeat with horrible dramatics this is going into the dropped section quickly. |

| too emo manga is not this emo well, i guess first few episodes will be like this cause they're focusing just on hikari and kei later when all the SAs get their stories it will be much better ...still one of my season's favorites (mostly cause kei's feelings for hikari are much different than in other shoujo mangas i read) |

| Well, I kind of like the two lead characters. This show has many generic and some refreshing unique comedy, overall it is rather entertaining. But as mentioned above the 2nd half was really really bad. The climax scene was so ridiculous. Also his speech was the same as last time. I sense a climax-action-recycling like in R+V. But we will see ... |

| I'll give it another episode, but this one was more annoying than entertaining. I like Hikari as a character, but I can't stand Kei as a love interest, especially in this episode. |

| I really enjoyed the first episode, and I definitely think this series could go somewhere and be awesome... However, this episode was average to poor. I understand the reasons behind Kei's actions, but it was still illogical, and it seemed like that whole part was just put there for the sake of having some drama. It was completely ridiculous. Also, Miss Rank Two was old after the first two times. From now on, I think Hikari needs to take a more Kaname Chidori approach to this comment - a quick, simple, sharp, reply, as opposed to an already boring over-dramatic one. However, I still enjoyed it, and will continue watching. Hikari is pretty awesome, apart from when she goes over-the-top with the whole challenges thing. I everything to do with challanges in this show should be taken down a notch, and focus on other things more - the relationship, the real comedy moments, and the S.A. group as a whole. The rank thing should just be the backing to the story, not the story itself. |

| This episode was way over the top. I kept expecting it to become a massive parody of these kinds of episodes, but it didn't. ;_; And why the heck is Kei protecting Hikari when she's just as strong as he is? From the ending, I wasn't sure if it was because he wanted to win the contest or if that was just a bonus. (But I like to think it was the former!) |

He could have wanted to ensure that he would be the one to win their contest, and then to request something from Hikari. e.g. around episode 8 or something: Kei: btw, remember that wrestling contest... I won. *flashback* Kei: my request is - go out with me! Hikari: 0_0' or something equally as predictable and crappy. Still, it was way too overdone, and if this theory turns out to be true, the result will likely also be overdone... Well, hope for the best <3 |

| It was decent. I liked EP1 a lot more, but it was decent. I didn't expect it to get so unrealistic. That kind of bothers me... With the whole "break 10,000,000 bricks" thing. Yeah, that's possible. ._.; The episode was overdone in so many ways. >_< But, I think it still has hope. I'll definately keep watching. |
| I'm failing to feel this show. The premise and setup is just too cliche and the characters stereotypical and uninteresting. Definitely the worst I've seen from the spring season. I was hoping just ep one was a letdown, but two didn't really pick it up enough to save it in my books. One more ep chance before I drop it. >.< |

| It could've been executed a lot better, especially if they hadn't dragged the stomping on Kei scene out too long just to take up time and if they had just let Kei and Hikari coordinate and fight with the cuffs on. The beginning and end of the episode were good but the pro-wresting match was ridiculous and boring. Still, Kei and Hikari are adorable. Hopefully, the pace will pick up in the next episode when Kei makes Hikari "do something." ^^ |

| I thought it was quite cute seeing Kei protect Hikari. I actually kind of like corny shows though, so this suits me just fine. |
| i thought i'll lose my hearing when i was watching the OP. wtf i thought gotou can't use a worse voice than mikuru's but i guess i was wrong! @-@ anyway the ep was kinda bad... not funny or anything, that's a shame, because the first one was enjoyable. |
