| Holy moly, so much peopple are in God valley, Kuma and Ivankov plan to escape, Rock pirates come to god valley with Kaido, as well as garp is sent there. Elder Nyon was also part of the rocks pirate. Kuma eats the paw fruit, While Big mom confronts Ivankov and takes supposedly Kaidos devil fruit away from Ivankov. Roger Pirate also coming with a straw hat with him. Theres way too much characters that are special with connections and statuses in this chapter.... Not surprising for me actually. Rocks D Xebec does not show himself though. |

| As expected Big Mom got the Devil Fruit for Kaido, Kuma got his one (and most likely escaped with it too) and we don't get to see the God Valley incident yet. That one deserves it's own flashback along with more screen time for the Rocks Pirates. This one is for Kuma. If you were expecting anything else, blame yourself xD But ngl, the hype with these panels is real. All these big shot characters in theit youth. Aside from well known faces we also have Captain John, Wang Zhi and even Streusen in the backround. Roger looking even more like Ace here and imo it pretty much confirms that he's not quite in the peak of his prime here. And Whitebeard doesn't consider himself to be Rocks underling. I was always questioning for him to work for someone. Other God Knights look like Big Mom friends. Here we go again after CP0 and in truth Oda is just recycling designs 🤣 In typical One Piece fashion, Kuma's backstory is a cruel one. The despair of the slaves ä and the innocent about to lose their lives in a genocide masked as game for the Tenryubito is fucked up beyond anything we've seen so far. And while there's temporary happiness we know that Kuma's suffering is far from over. It was nevertheless great to see him stand up to Saturn and that he enabled the escape for him, Ivankov, Ginny and many others. It's been a while since we had an emotional backstory and so far this one hit the right beats. Kuma and Ginny living in peace is touching. Ivankov was always an awesome character. Bro is a born leader who inspires hope in the people. Crazy that he almost got to eat the Fish Fish Fruit. Little encounters of him and Big Mom is something I never expected to see and it gives these chapters extra spice. It's funny to think that without Big Mom he never would've eaten the hormone fruit..Luffy could've died without Big Mom's interference. Not to mention all the callbacks    Did she have a crush on Whitebeard? Or was it someone else? |

| Damn no full flashback of God Valley just yet, still mostly crumbs. Since this is primarily a Kuma flashback I guess it makes sense that we'll come back to the full God Valley Incident later. I'm still excited to see the chapter though. So this is where Kaido got his DF, and it looks like we won't get a Rocks face reveal just yet. I didn't expect the elder from Amazon Lily to be a former Rocks member. I can't wait to see the full chapter with how much the leaker is hyping it on Twitter. After reading the chapter: Oh boy it looks like all the factions on God Valley have been set up, now it's just a matter of actually seeing all the chaos that went down. Seeing this gathering of so many characters who are legends in the One Piece world in their younger days is surreal. It's also funny to think about how Ivankov could have had Kaido's DF 💀 Nightleon said: chapter 1096 is out or is if just leaks. last time I checked it was set to release at 29 Oct 12:00am JST The chapter itself isn't out yet, just leaks. |

| Greta chapter, crazy seeing the rocks pirates, plus Sanderson is dressed the same as Hancock rn. Seeing young roger and Garp is cool. The scene with big mom is cool, and of course Ginny is probably Bonney’s mom based off the “big eater” quote in the last page. People will probably complain about the lack of what was seem of god valley though. |

| Chapter was disappointing. Again we got teased about Xebec but didn't actually see him, just the Rocks Pirate crew in general and of course the main focus was on the crew members that we already knew about. Kong appeared which was surprising but he did nothing except beg Garp for help. The actual clash between Roger's crew and Xebec's wasn't shown because Oda loves giving us important events in only bits and pieces stretched throughout several arcs lasting many years because he's a bad writer now... But my main complaint is Ginny; she came across as a huge plot device since she was really young and yet was able to leak so much information to the outside world using tech? Also Saturn and Kuma's interaction being cut short was annoying. |

| This is the most important chapter since the Oden flashback, and that's saying something in a sea of incredibly important chapters as of late. The God Valley incident as a whole is a huge piece of lore being kept for a long while, until just now! My theorist gears are on full motion lately, Egghead barely kickstarted the final saga and is already one of the best arc in the series, damn haha |

| Wowww, there was so much information put into one chapter! So many legends!! Now we know where Kaido got his devil fruit from Big Mom and how Kuma got his. I feel like it is more and more likely that Ginny is Bonney's mom, I see so much of her in her. A great chapter, I'm still trying to digest everything! |

| noooooooooooo oda teasing us the god valley incident once again but not showing goddamit!!!!!!! i can't believe i honestly thought we're about to see more of rocks himself lol. crazy chapter nonetheless and we'll see it eventually. a lot of big names in this chapter with the rocks pirates and roger's crew. jeez young gloriossa was a baddie with that boa hancock outfit. garp heard roger's name and said 'say less', that one panel of roger's crew was fire tho. already had respect for ivan but this just made me like him way more than i already did. i like how ginny is responsible but i need to see more of her. ivan nearly secured himself kaido's df but alas. |

| can you stack a chapter much more than this? first time actually seeing some of the events that occurred at god valley. i'm not too sure if we'll actually get to see all of it or if we just get that glimpse and now we focus on kuma but i hope we get a bit of both. we see how kuma got his devil fruit and how he idolizes nika. makes the moment in sabaody when he saves the crew hit even harder now. iva was close to becoming kaido if they had eaten that fruit. garp only cared to intervene once he knew roger was going to be there which of course. it sounds like the rock's pirates weren't very united which explains how they lose to garp and roger despite how stacked they are. this kuma backstory is boutta hit hard i can already tell. itching for next week |

| I've never given much thought about it but it's strange that there is bible and church in one piece. Especially when celestial dragon is considered god in one piece. But oh well... it doesn't really matter anyway. Classic oda, trolling us when we got to the juiciest part of the flashback. Yknow i think we won't get a full flashback of god valley in this arc. Maybe on the next big arc. I can only wonder how they're going to escape from st. saturn though. |

But I suppose this depends on Oda can let Luffy remain sidelined for once. 😆 |

| OH MY LORD ODA COOKED! I do think that we'll come back to God Valley, especially when we see Garp again in Hachinosu. I liked the way they introduced the paw paw fruit, and it's connections to Nika. It's cool that the fruit saved luffy at sabaody and its called the "hands of liberation." Excited to see where we go next. |

| God Valley was located in the west blue which explains Shanks birthplace. A New rocks pirate introduced in Gloriosa or Elder Nyon from Amazon Lily. The fact that she is with the rocks pirates means that the person she fell in love is also most likely a member—the best candidate being Whitebeard. Also two shadowy figures, most likely Ochoku and Silver Axe. Rocks finally speaks, meaning we'll get to hear his voice in the anime by next year. There's also Captain John, who's treasure was what buggy was looking for. This is the first time we get to see this version of Roger, which is also the version that resembles Ace the most. Roger at this point also still has his straw hat. I didn't think the Roger pirates ever wanted Devil Fruits, inspiring Shanks thinking of Devil Fruits just being in the way of a pirate in his adventures, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Seeing Kuma and Ginny crying tears of joy hits hard, but knowing Oda, they will be crying tears of sadness by next week. |
