| Well for first impressions I guess girls instinctively prefer tall guys - but seriously, it really is about personality in the end. If the shorter guy has better qualities than the tall guy - he'll end up with the girl. I've seen it happen before with friends of mine. Speaking from a female perspective.. I guess I prefer taller. Maybe it's the way the bodies just fit together when you're holding each other. HOWEVER - I'd much rather have shorter than TOO tall. Kissing somebody who is like a head taller than you can be extremely annoying. |

But there have been studies done looking at whether women choose taller men over shorter - and inevitably - they do. How much of this is based off cultural influences (Hollywood/media etc) or evolution I don't know. There are a number of reasons that you have to factor in. Obviously many other factors do come into play here - but I don't think you can just blindly dismiss it. |

| Well I'm tiny, 4' 9", so him being shorter than me would be an issue. Since I am so small, a man being too tall is a much bigger problem. If he's over a head taller than me it would be annoying. A guy a little bit, taller than me that I just have to tiptoe to kiss is basically my target. This probably means 5' 2"-5' 5" is a comfortable range for me. |

| Short girls like short guys. I have a short friend who really doesn't want a tall guy because she's always been looking up to people, and I guess she wants someone who is eye level with her. As for me, I'm only...5 feet. T_T I wanna be taller! >_< But I guess I don't care too much about the height, just as long as they're a little taller than me (and for the record, I've never met a full grown guy shorter than me yet...) so I guess I like short guys. |

Don't get me wrong.. as a guy i also don't want to be shorter then my girl.. but i give great appreciation when i see short guys with tall girls.. it shows how confident the guy is which is cool |
