Have yall ever thought about how much "Ao ashi" could've benefited if "Blue Lock" didn't come out 2 seasons later?

I don't think Blue Lock is responsible for Ao Ashi being relatively unpopular, so no

Bruh Blue Lock has nothing to do with Ao Ashi. It is patronizing to even think of it that way. It's just two really good series. I certainly do hope we get a sequel for Ao Ashi tho.

It didn't. Blue Lock is just more accessible and contains more elements that can be enjoyed by the majority of anime fans. Ao Ashi is less popular but you won't find many people that watched 24 episodes of it and hated it.

My opinion is that if blue lock came out a year after aoashi it would have been more popular but i didn’t blue lock sadly outshined aoashi

I just don't believe that people saw that Ao Ashi was airing and decided "no, I'll just wait for Blue Lock"

You might have a point if it was the same season, but TWO seasons later? C'mon now.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

It's also still complete nonsense.

Yeah it’s true I guess, although the Ao Ashi manga is selling really really well

I tried both and simply preferred Blue Lock

Blue Lock and Ao Ashi are completely unrelated stories. The only thing in common is soccer. Ao Ashi is more story-driven while Blue Lock is more hype-driven. Pretty simple stuff

Exactly and Ao Ashi is a Seinen while Blue Lock being a Shounen, which are always more popular in general.

IMO Blue Lock actually promoted Ao Ashi cuz many ppl try to find anime based on same theme if the like smtg and if you search anime like blue lock the first recommendations come to my mind are Haikyuu, Kuroko's basketball and Ao Ashi and Ao Ashi is only football based

Ao Ashi wasn’t really popular in the first place so if anything Blue Lock made it more popular as it was something to compete with.

for an anime watcher Blue lock is better but for an actual football player or someone aspiring to be a footballer ao ashi is miles ahead of Blue lock, it tells us about the real life struggles to be a footballer whereas blue lock is all about hype and ego and all that's why ao ashi is seinen and blue lock is shounen

my opinion is that ashito's story is much more interesting than isagi's story and that's why i would like season 2 of ao ashi

Although Ao Ashi and Blue Lock are both football, there is no longer any term for comparison.
Ao Ashi gets much better as the story evolves, and only those who read the manga know! From developing football tactics, character stories, to European football! I really want them to do a second season! The manga deserves it!
Blue Lock is fiction, Ao Ashi is closer to reality!

You are wrong. No character in the series has power, what we see is just an illustration of the viewer's vision of the protagonist.
