This fight has been everything I could have ever hoped it would be, two of the best just going at it throwing everything they have at each other. Gojo was fucking up Sukuna's shit but it still ain't over yet, Sukuna pulled out Mahoraga. Absolutely criminal that we have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens next 😭 😭😭😭

What a fun chapter. They were going back and forth at each other but Gojo had a upper hand most of the time in this chapter until that last panel of Sukuna summoning Mahoraga. It's gonna be awesome. Gojo looks worried against Mahoraga. Also, I still want to see Sukuna in his four arm form that would be amazing.

I honestly thought the chapter was going to start with Mahoraga, not end it. It has adapted to infinite void, Gojo is in deep trouble, maybe thats it for him. I wonder whats happening next but we have a break next week, so yeah. I wonder if Yuta is going to step in.

so.. 10 Shadow's shikigamis count as curses since Gege's commenting how Unlimited Void arent that effective against curses/cursed spirit?
or perhaps Mahoraga already adapted to Unlimited Void cuz Gojo been spamming it?

i do not get it Sukunas domain expansion has defeated Mahoraga but Sukunas domain expansion is defeated by Gojo and now Gojos domain expansion is defeated by Mahoraga

is this a match up problem or the power scaling is inconsistent here

Sukuna had the wheel out last chapter so mahoraga has probably adapted to infinite void once sukuna got hit by it. Besides this, gege commented that curse spirits aren't affected as much by the information overload.

On the other hand, when mahoraga was hit by malevolent shrine's sure hit, it was only partially adapted (because it adaped to dismantle, not cleave) so it was damaged by it. However, it was the fire arrow that finished it, not cleave

This Mahoraga isn't the same one Megumi summoned back in Shibuya. It's like 100x stronger thanks to Sukuna's endless pool of cursed energy. Do you remember how Nue looked like when Sukuna spawned it? Megumi's Nue looked like a big owl, but Sukuna's Nue was like a Kaiju from Pacific Rim. Besides Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine couldn't end Mahoraga. I think it adapted to all slash type attacks midway? All I know is that it survived his domain and Sukuna had to use his fire arrow

great chapter! awesome back and forth in terms of cursed technique so far but still the battle heats up!

Sukuna still wins imo but how will Gojo counter Mahoraga when it's now adapted to Unlimited Void.

Mahoraga has adaptability and since gojo spammed his domain and defeated sukuna once but he survived it got adaptated to it else it would have been destroyed as gojo stated in 228

This is going back and forth. For one mini-second Gojo's ahead and then for the other, Sukuna. They're still neck to neck, though I wonder how many chapters till we can see some kind of conclusion.

What his fire can do against Gojo? it won't hit him cuz of infinity and even if it hits (which most likely not gonna happen) Gojo just use reverse CT to heal.... also his innate CT is slashing dismantle and cleave which is his true CT so mehh, with this I can say with confidence that Gojo ain't talk bullshit when he said that he CAN defeat Sukuna. Chapter 229 just prove it that he had to resort to use Mahoraga which show us that he can't beat Gojo with his own skill.

I don't think Gojo will die from Maho, who he was expecting and knew about. The problem is that his domain, which is his special ability, was just broken. So he's currently on cooldown and Maho will be able to attack him. He might take a few hits, especially since in the last chapter we saw him nosebleeding, which could be an indication of him using too much of his power, called RCT. I have a feeling that Kashimo might join in for some reason, or Gojo might get seriously injured but not actually die.
