| Awesome episode as usual, I loved the art in the Negi vs Kagetarou fight. So they chosed to skip a few chapter, well that's nice, for the next episode I hope that it cover Negi vs Fate and Negi vs Rakan but that's probably asking for too much. They won't ever be able to cover everythings with one episode and the movie alone XD. To those that are wondering where the fuck I watched it: I watched it raw because i'm that awesome. |

Yeah, I'm also beginning to feel that there's just going to be soooooooo much that they are not going to be able to cover, unless we get a two to three hour long movie, and even that might not be enough. I mean, the arc itself is not even finished yet. At least, hopefully they will be able to animate Negi versus Rakan, Hopefully. It never claimed to make the arc fully understandable and enjoyable for people that does not read the manga, in fact it is made for the manga readers to enjoy and to promote the manga for those that don't. |

| Rakan makes everything awesome. All stories need Rakan lol. They better do the Negi v Rakan fight all flashy and awesome, one up the fight from this episode. Can't wait for OVA 4 |

| Lmao yeah, I love Rakan. I personally felt the animation felt a bit weird at times, but it was quite interesting and different. To me the episode was quite enjoyable, felt like a nice change of pace to me. I can't wait for more releases of the OVA, and even the movie that should be coming out 2011 or whenever. |
| I like this episode except that they skipped too much of the story... Ako~ T_T I like how they animate the fighting scene especially when Negi using the Ouka Houken on Rakan. I like the fighting between Negi and Kagetarou too though the art doesn't seem to be on my liking. I hope to watch a really proper one, without the skipped part and according to manga... though it wouldn't seem likely to happen... Mahora Festival~ T_T |

| Yeah Rakan!!! This was a great episode :D Negi vs Kagetarou was really good. Now I'm expecting that the 4th episode would cover Negi vs Fate. That would totally be EPIC >.< |

| why do they skip so much between episode 2 and 3? The anime flops and it the ova isn't turning out as well as I expected. Also whats with the comic book art in the beginning? |

They skip because right from the start it was meant to be an animated version of some chapter, it never intended to cover the entire arc and it is meant for fan that read the manga. If people get lost because they don't read the manga then it's their fault, these oad weren't even intended for them anyway. I liked the comic book art lol but well it look like a lot of people disliked it, I guess shaft and Ken wanted to try something and from the comment of many fans I doubt that they will do it again. |

| I for one really like the comic book like art. Especialy during the fight with Kagetarou. Compared to fights in other shounens, that fight was very cinematic. Considering Shaft really does experiment with the art(Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari come to mind) i am not surprised by it. Indeed it does not really fit with the rest of the negima (not !?) animes, but i really don't think it looks bad. |

| One problem. I would have expected the voice to change when Negi uses to pill. But Negi FEVER was just unbelievably soo laughable (in a good way) . Seems more dramatic. |
| I was also wondering the age factor, they also didn't explain how they ended up there (the beginning of the 3rd episode) versus where they were left in the second episode. |

| To be honest as someone who is stuck on volume 25(no where in my area sells the next few volumes) I hope hey don't skip too far ahead for episode 4, just doing one based on Negi fighting the dark side would be good, and end it with Negi and Fate's tea talk to lead into the movie. |

End it AFTER the tea talk, otherwhise i'll be disapointed. Keep Rakan vs Negi for the movie tough, there's still many thing to cover so if they don't make the tea talk in the oad the movie will be rushed A LOT. |

| A very noticeable skip between episode 2/3. Negi was badass when he kept fighting even after losing an arm. Rakan is hilarious! Negi feve! Dat Setsuna fanservice tho! |

| Didn't think they would include another timeskip between the OVA episodes. Fanservice of Setsuna was beyond nice, but I don't quite get what happened to everyone. Negi is big and small at the same time, same with Chisame who got cat/dog ears? Very confusing episode. |

The OVAs only adapted random chapters of the Magic World Arc and the anime-only watchers won't understand what's going on in the OVAs, as these OVAs are made just for the manga fans only. I don't know if you already read the manga now or not, but Negi, Kotarou and Chisame have the aging pills so they can changes their age anytime they wanted. Can't answer your Chisame question as it has been a while since last time I read the manga and I can only remember the parts the OVAs adapted. It's still sad that aside of this and Ala Alba OVAs, every Negima and UQ Holder! anime adaptations are all garbage and inaccurate to it's source materials. |
